The ringing of bells toll through the Castle Courtyard, streams of beings from all walks of life in the city finding their way in to observe the activity as a few Solacious Soldiers whom pulled the short straw, were standing a mixed duty of Usher and guard, hollaring in cones made to allow them to speak above the crowd. "Friends and family of the groom to the left! Friends and family of the bride to the right! Newcomers to the rear seating please!" The streams of people giving way to three large rectangles of chairs, the solacious family occupying the left side mainly, when what looks like a variety of farmers, tramps, and other low born folk have filled only half of the right... And given the variety of their species, they were most likely just friends of Kalt. The rear filled with visiting individuals was slowly crowding with those that just happened to be visiting the city this day, all striving for seats that were quickly filling up.

Fenris wanders along the well stocked tables of food and drink, glad to see that all of his arrangements had gone according to plan. And of course he snuck a few samples as he went. Wedding planning was hungry work! The tiger looks pretty good in his new outfit, a fine linen shirt, open down to the third button, showing a puff of his fluffy fur along with a fine black vest that is pulled gently over the slight roundness of his strong belly. He makes his way over to Kalt's side of the room, figuring that it would be easier to get a good seat than on Angus's side. He does his best to get as close to the front as he could.

Standing up at the podium, chatting with the Church representitive is Angus, the groom trying to keep himself occupied to hide that he was just a little nervous with the situation. "Heh, so how is the family?" He asks. His entire look had changed for just this day, wanting to wanting to look the best as his clothing was...actually well kept, clean, the ceremonial buttons on his uniform polished to a shine as he stands at attention.

Being both family and noble, Cassidy had certain expectations to meet. She'd been there early, having settled on Angus's side of the aisle with Natska. Despite being friends with both of them... It was prudent that she was seated with the rest of the Solacious-kin. And she's dressed the part! A smile on her face to complement the fanciful, floor-length dress she wore. "It wasn't even that long ago we had ours," she murmurs to the jaguar at her side.

Jera made her way into the noble's section. Bright red. She'd had to put aside her concerns of being found out in order to attend a very, very important wedding. She's wearing a trailing dress in snow white, with matching gloves and a tiara sitting atop her folded ears.

Cara makes her way over to one of the seats at very back, her tail swishing through the air as walks. There was information about a bonding happening in town and strangely, it allowed anyone to attend it. Considering that this is the tigress's first time attending an event like this, it might be good for meeting new people. She may not know the bride or groom but they probably won't mind her appearance. The tigress mutters under her breath, "I better stay quiet for this event so that I don't annoy anyone by mistake." She sits in the chair and looks around the area for anything of interest. She notices a large tiger sitting at the front row and smiles, knowing that she might be able to talk to someone at the reception.

"I know, love," Natska murmurs, giving Cassidy's arm a squeeze; the jaguar is wearing a fine, dark blue dress of her own today, along with plenty of jewelry, her hair carefully braided and be-ribboned. "Not too long ago at all, dearest, but it has been a very happy life."

Being neither family, nor technically friend seeing as he had only encountered the couple once. And rather briefly at that. Takes a sest in the back row. The coywolf is dressed up in his best fine suit for the ocassion.

Fenris waves happily at his friends assembled amidst all the nobility on the other side of the room. He plops himself down in a seat and smiles around at Kalt's family and friends. "I hear the king himself will be here!" he says happily, "And the food is going to be great!" He gives another wave toward the band tuning up off to one side of the dais. A good crew. He had picked them out himself.

"Filling in sir, those without seats are opting to stand." The portly mole infront of Angus replies, before fixing his own hat. A rather high up member of the church it seemed, he waved to a small boy whom stepped forward to hand him a thick book.

Not too long into folks arriving, a almost litteral parade of hippos begin to enter and weave their way through the gathering to the seats. Most it seem take up the plethora of empty chairs on Kalt's side, a few though staying with the solacious side, and fewer still merely standing in the back. As if they were mere heralds of the arrival, a few solacious workers bring out a single ornate chair, filled with red and gold, it is soon placed off to the side of the ceremony, though still allowing it's soon to be occupant a seat in the front row, and a view where they can watch the ceremony, and attendees... Without further delay then, comes the none other than King Good, entering with a band of guards around him, amidst his usual attendants, the royal hippo finds his chair and gives a slight nod out to the group, before leaning back as his ear is taken by one of his attendants.

Cassidy adjusts her long, arm-covering gloves as she settles back in her chair, folding one leg over the other under her long dress. "And here I thought they wanted a quiet bonding. This is even more fanfare than we tried to get," she says with a soft chuckle.

Rainer might not be recognizable even to longtime friends, such a radical transformation has he undergone, though there probably aren't many grey wolves around who have any business being up at the front, as he is. Dressed to the nines in occasion-appropriate attire, high-collared dark grey suit with buttoned white undershirt, matching, belted pants and ankle boots, his sword sheathed in a ceremonial holster that leaves the blade exposed. His normally unkempt mane has been groomed into something approaching a hairstyle, slicked down at the top, drawn into a ponytail at the back and held in place by a silver band. Most impressive of all is the fact that he's not at any point fussing with the outfit, or his hair. He's mostly just keeping an eye on Angus, probably ready to tackle the todd to the ground if he tries to run for it, sparing occasional glances over his shoulder out and over the crowd and spouting a quip or two. "Haha, I can't wait to see Kaltessa. It's going to be so weird seeing her in a dress for a change." "Who even are most of these people?" "I've never once seen half of these guys seated with your family." Hey, isn't that the king himself?" "Straighten your shoulders! You don't want your king to see one of his soldiers slouching, do ya?"

Fenris grins at Rainer. "Not here as a soldier, Rainer," he says, "Kalt and Angus both said that I could come as a regular friend!" His grin broadens as the Hippos file in. "I've never seen so many royals at once!" he says, "You think we can meet the king after the ceremony?"
