A small crowd is gathered just inside the gates of the city, jostling for position to see the small craft at rest out on the tournament grounds. Small is relative, of course. The vessel is certainly bigger than any ocean going ship on Promise and larger than many buildings, but it is small compared to the behemoths that have visited before. A hatch in the base of the ship is open and several figures can be seen at the foot of the gangplank.

"They been sittin' like that for better part of an hour," says the droopy faced St. Bernard who is the acting gate captain this evening, "But we ain't heard nothin' from the church or the palace yet." He looks over the gathered Freeswords. "Yer sure it's alright if you lot check it out first?" he asks, "Mebe somebody from the Church'll be here soon?" The poor heavy clan hound seems like he would be just as happy either way. As long as he can pass the buck.

Crowds were never Cassidy's thing, and someone of her stature didn't much care to be jostled about trying to worm through it. So, the dapper fennec drops from the sky to land in front of the crowd, taking the easy way through. Or over, to be accurate. She takes a moment to adjust her top hat and brush off her tailcoat before leaning on her cane to await whatever might come out of the vessel!

Amaterasu managed to push her way through the crowd "What is this?" she asks, huffing a little "Creator's? Is it the merchant?" she asks, blinking and trying to see past the larger guard "Oh, Lady Cassidy. A pleasure to see you again, I am sorry for the interrupt last night. The little ones wear me out quite quick most times."

Chance walks towards where the ship was seen, preferring a more subtle approache sneaking throught the crowd to get close enough to see easily enoguh. "careful, small folk on his way through, watch your steps please!" The weasel tries to press through to get in decent view, it'd be his first time getting this close to a creator vessel.

Attracted by the growing crowd and the whispered rumors from those who were unable to go gawk, but wanted to, Natska makes her way up to the back of the crowd. She rises up on her tiptoes, peering to try and get a better view, then wrinkles her nose and begins slipping through the crowd to get closer and get a good look. She didn't *intend* to go all the way to the front, but slipping through a suggen gap between two collies leaves her in the front row. She stops there and tilts her head to the side, staring at the ship in barely veiled shock.

Camille strides through the growing crowd to see what all the noise is about and more. Hearing whispers of "Creators..." and "Silver like a mirror!" she uses her natural flexibility and push to make her way forward, a quick movment a small conversation with a stranger followed by a smile and a side-step eases her way to the vessel waitng at the end. Her first view of the ship is careful, drinking in all the details from it for later notes, and especially taking note of the two individuals waiting...waiting. Camille closely examines their equipment, and makes notes of any heraldry or insignia they may have, along with any weaponry.

The commotion had drawn the attention of Cedric all the way from the main concourse, and he'd deftly made his way through the streets towards the tournament grounds where these vessels seemed to prefer landing more often than not. Pushing through the crowd, the badger could hear a familiar voice within the crowd, and made his way towards it to see if it really was Chance getting lost among the taller beings in the crowd. Aside from the occasional heavy folk or otherwise abnomally tall being, not many were taller than he. Cedric approaches Chance from behind, crouching slightly to tap the small weasel on the shoulder. "Hey, Chance. Didn't expect to see you here." he says, with a smile. "Need a boost?" he offers the smaller mustelid a ride on his back, still crouched down to make it easier for him to get on if he so chooses.

"Excuse me dear," comes a robust, if warbling voice from the crowd, "Step aside please, Oh! Pardon me!" And a round little black bear in priest's robes and incredibly thick spectacles comes tottering amiably through the gathering of beings. "I'm from the church!" she says, "What seems to be- Oh!" The matronly little bear finally seems to notice the lit creator ship just as two of the figures seem to carry a third away from the gangplank and the others return to the belly of the ship. The third distant figure seems to struggle for a moment, then slumps in the arms of the other two as the gangplank closes and the engines of the vessel roar back to life.

"Looks like they're leavin'!" says the St Bernard Captain in surprise, "But I ain't never seen 'em leave their own before!"

Memna, the black bear priestess hikes up her skirts and starts out the gates. She isn't especially fast, and her fastest gait seems to be a bit of a waddle, but she calls back over her shoulder, "Don't none of you big, strong Freeswords bother to come help an old lady now!" She says something else too, but her words are lost as the ship lifts off the ground and into the sky, leaving the three distant figures alone on the wind swept grounds.

Cassidy sets her free hand in her pocket, glancing over towards the bear before looking towards the three individuals that had been left. "Very curious," she mumbles. She stands up proper and starts to make her way closer, twirling the black cane between her gloved fingers. "Hello over there!"

Amaterasu blinks, her interest become caution incredibly quickly as she conjures a spell in her mind. Moving forward as fast cautiously, she keeps her hand on her cloak, ready to pull it off of her if required. "We don't know the circumstances behind this, is it right to go charging in as such?! What if he's a criminal? Like those in the Shanty Town?" she asks, knowing for the moment no-one might listen. She had to say it though, voice her own fears. She never understood the creators, as good as some people, and she does refuse to believe everyone is nice and perfect. Life just doesn't work like that.

Chance grumbles as he tries to get through the crowd, nor really able to get by. Feeling a tap on his shoulder he turns and spots Cedric, "Ced, hey, oh well this is actually my first chacne to get so close to a creator vessel," He grins widely up at Cedric, "I could use it yeah, being small folk has its downsides." He carefully clambers onto Cedric's back to get a better view, letting them help him up if it'll be easier for them. Chance nudges Cedric, if allowed up, and leans down. "Maybe we should head to help out?" He smiles, hoping he isn't being a hassle for Ced.

Natska perks her ears at a familiar voice and glances around, her eyes catching on Chance; she wanders over, nods at Cedric, and points out in a hushed voice, "she said not to~" Still, the jaguar grins. "But maybe we should, yea? I'll follow if you do."

Camille move forward just enough to be at the front of the crowd, eyes alert and watching, now close enough to take in more detail of the three visiting while she surreptitiously checks her weapons to make sure they can be easily released, mind going over the math for a couple of quick and devastating spells, she looks to see if they're carrying anything that remotely resembles a weapon, stepping forward so that she's just ahead of the crowd and visible to the visitors ahead, the Tigress nodding with a slight purr of excitement, preparing for peace, and ready for more.

Cedric assists Chance in climbing up onto his back, chuckling a little bit as he does so, before standing up after he's all set. He doesn't appear to be too encumbered by giving the weasel a ride, and nods a little to Natska. "Oh, hello... and uh, yeah... her tone sounded real sarcastic though, so I think she actually could use a hand." he explains, continuing through the crowd with Chance in tow on his back, to approach the scene without hesitation.

As the Freeswords draw nearer to the three figures on the tourney green, is becomes apparent that they are two rabbit beings, one male and one female, and a blond creator male, all dressed in simple, commoner's clothing. It is hard to say what is stranger here, a Creator left behind or the two beings who obviously came from the creator ship! Hearing the approach of Memna and her capable entourage, the creator turns away from his two lapine companions and opens his arms in a gesture of greeting. "Hello, my friends!" he says, slowly and carefully, "This is the city of Firmament, correct?" His words sound a little strange, but he does not seem to have one of those little floating, talking balls that the other Creator visitors have had. Behind him, the male rabbit seems to be trying to comfort his female companion, who has flung herself to the ground, sobbing.

Memna puffs to a stop and gives a satisfied little smile to those who followed her before turning her attention to the trio ahead. "Greetings your Lordship!" she says a little breathlessly, "This is indeed Firmament, but we were not warned of your arrival."

Cassidy gives a belated wave to Amaterasu. "Hello again. Don't worry about last night, I know how it is." She looks towards the Creator and the two beings that had accompanied him, frowning behind her mask. Those two are the ones that catch her interest most, and she moves a little closer. "What seems to be the matter?"

Amaterasu nods, the spell vanishing from her mind, replaced with concerned worry "She seems rather upset." she notes. noting as well the lack of a floating orb "He speaks our language." she was rather shocked, showing it clear on her face as her jaw hung open slightly.

Chance frowns as he nears them, on Cedric's back, looking around at the others, letting go and slipping down from their back to stand on his own feet. The short weasel looking around, having never been this close to a creator before. At a loss of what to do, he bows and remains silent.

Similarly, Natska is at a loss, although her expression is one of sheer curiosity as she peers at the Creator, and at the two rabbits. The important question had been asked, so she hangs nearby, waiting to see what develops and if she'd be of use.

Camille moves forward to help the rabbits, instinctively offering some comfort as she nears, speaking first in the language of firmament and careful to keep her tone light and without any hard inflection, in case they can't underrstand her words, they can understand her tone "Are you, are you all-right?" Camille looks to the Creator with concern and nods "Apologies, but your friend is in need of care" her eyes soft and a deep electric green-blue with golden pupils, looking deeply into the Lapines eyes, she speaks "I'm here to help, can I?"

Cedric glances between the two rabbit beings and the blond-haired creator male as he lowers himself to help Chance get down, ruffling the weasel's headfur before standing back up to his full height and clearing his throat, question marks in purple and green starting to dot his fur here and there as he tries to figure out what exactly is going on here.

Through the crowd, and across the way, slowly Kalt makes her way through the crowd and to the group. The normally armored vixen clad in a pair of white dancer's pants, a matching shirt, and a poncho thrown over it all with a red sash tied around it. Thankfully, with how her movements are today, she isn't one to keep others crowding around her without almost dancing around them. As she approaches the group and eyes the anticts, she raises an eyebrow for a moment before leaning forward some. "Evenin', awefully strange day it's seemin' ain't it?"

Jera weaves through the crowd with his cloak drawn tightly around him. Even though that really doesn't stop the glow from leaking around his face. Following behind Kalt and watching her new attire with more than enough curiosity, meeting up with the group after. "Another Creator ship?" The kit fox murmurs, giving the others a polite nod in greeting.

The creator male grins at the assembled beings and runs a hand through his shaggy blonde hair. He seems very pleased as he hears Amaterasu's surprise at his ability to speak without a translator. "I have practiced very much," he says, "Your language is not so difficult with a mnemonic augmented linguistics protocol." That last bit must be some sort of Creator magic. "You may call me Joe!" he says proudly, as if it should be especially exciting to the beings of Firmament. Or perhaps he only feels that HE should be exciting to the beings of Firmament. "I apologize that the communication station was not given notice of our arrival," he says to Memna, "I did not wish to cause a scene." He looks at the two rabbit beings huddled behind him with a frown. "Hedge!" he says, "Get Mai-Mai off the ground! You are causing a commotion!"

The male rabbit, who is apparently named Hedge seems to be doing his best to comfort the female Mai-Mai, though he seems nearly as bewildered as she is. Mai-Mai on the other hand only continues to blubber words that sound something like, "Mai-Mai is sorry! She will be good! Don't send Mai-Mai away!" over and over. It is rather disheartening, and it seems that Hedge might start crying soon too.

Memna eyes the odd creator as she listens to his explanation, her gaze flickering between him and the two rabbits. "And who are these, Lord Joe?" she asks diffidently, though it is evident that she would rather be showering the distraught beings with cocoa and cookies rather than waiting for an answer.

Cassidy peers quietly at the two rabbit beings before looking towards Kalt and Jera, offering a wave. "Hello, Kalt. Good to see you out and about. You're looking nice today."

Chance calmly nudges Cedric, trying to get their attention "You're getting those marks, just letting you know." He is referring to the question marks on Cedric's fur. The weasel bites his lip, and moves closer to the two rabbits, "Would you like a hand up? Mine may be small, but they are capable, I assure you both." He smiles in what he hopes is a warm expression.

Motioning with her arms, Camille places a gentle hand on Mai-mais upper arm in comfort, and looks to Hedge with an open arm, offering her warmth to them both as she strokes fingers up and down, now close enough to see what the creator is wearing, she takes careful note of everything to tally later, purring with care and moving to gently support Mai-mai by offering a hug while Hedge is offered her other arm, the words she speaks are soft and careful "It will be fine, whatever it was that bothers you, there is good here, and more. It will be fine.."

"Hmm?" the question marked badger looks down at Chance, and rasies one of his arms to check, noticing the purple and green marks immediately and nodding to himself. He tries to stop pondering the situation so much, and merely follows the weasel over towards the two lapine beings, staying relatively quiet and just waiting to hear what they're doing here... though already he doesn't quite like the look of the scenario.

Kalt bows some to Cassidy as she smiles and nods. "Aw thank you, ain't nuttin' much I uh... I kinda went rushin' on over an' all." The Vixen grinning proudly as she looks back to the three strangers, and blinks for just a moment as she watches between them. Her mouth opens as if contemplating to speak, before she snaps it shut and looks to Joe while motioning to his 'friends'. "They... Ain't from round here right?" Her tone inquisitive, as she tries to not blurt out her thoughts at the moment.

Jera folds his hands across his chest, the hand with the bow attached tapping against his elbow as he frowns. "Nice to meet you, Joe. I take it we're getting more guests from the Creator ship then?" He remembers Bobby. "They don't seem as suitable for Promise though."

Natska remains at a slight remove from the scene, hands on her hips, tail slowly swishing back and forth. She doesn't want to crowd the new arrivals any more than they already are, and although the rabbits seem to be the center of attention at the moment she finds her gaze being pulled back to Joe again and again. Finally, she smiles. "Nope, they aren't, hun." She nods at Joe, then. "What brings you here, sir?"

Hedge stiffens a bit as Chance and Camille come close, but relaxes a bit when he sees that their intentions are friendly. He does not seem to completely understand what Chance is saying, but he recognizes a friendly gesture and accepts a hand up. "Thank you," Hedge says, concentration evident on his face, "This one is sorry for its trouble." He still looks uncomfortable and picks a bit at his simple clothing, looking from Joe to Mai-Mai.

For her part, Mai-Mai has transferred from sobbing on the ground to sobbing into Camille's shoulder. Her almost words have degenerated into "Sorry sorry sorry!"

Joe looks back at the fuss being made over the rabbits and sniffs. "Hedge and Mai-Mai were. . ." he thinks for a moment, "Attendants to my sister. I will be staying for some time in your city and feel that it will be good for these constructs to be here with me." The creator male talks about these two as if they were field golems!

Cassidy turns her attention back towards Joe, brow raised behind her mask. "Constructs? It would be well advised to... Not refer to Beings as such while here. Do remember that this is a world of Beings like them. We don't often take well to such things." She clicks her tongue and leans against the cane as she looks back to Kalt. "Ah, so I see. A bit unusual to see you dressed in such a way, I must say."

Kalt flicks her tail at Joe's words, her lips pursing into a frown as she looks between Joe and the beings. "... Beings. You're gonna wanna go an' call us all beings an' such. Go callin'em constructs out in town an' all, an' a -lot- of folks gonna go gettin' mad, an' missunderstandin'. Best to go callin'em 'servants' if'n anythin', m'just suggestin' it." The Vixen's tail flicking once, before she clears her throat gently and smiles to Joe, before looking to Cassidy. "Eh it... Well, I were rushed an' all. But you're lookin' all dressed up an' such, nice an' fancy!"

Amaterasu frowns a bit "so then 'Mai-Mai' may not be a being like us. I've heard tales of beings who came from the skies, they aren't happy stories." She acknowledges with a small sympathetic nod. She then spots Jera, waving him over with a flick of her tail. "So, then... Mr. Joe." she eyes Mai-mai on camille's shoulder, the noticable lack of Lord on her breath. That title he must earn through his actions. "Does Mai-Mai require any medical attention? If not her, then what of Hedge?" she glances back towards Joe, a little offended by his words, but she hides it simply. "I would have imagined you to come with more fanfare."

"Excuse me... 'constructs'?" Cedric raises an eyebrow at Joe, as his expression shifts from indifference to mild annoyance even before Cassidy corrects the creator and gives him the helpful tip. The badger does seem quite offended by the creator's behavior. "Oh. I see." he nods. This must be one of those creators who think of their world like a dumping ground for unwanted pets...

Chance smiles warmly to Hedge, and speaks, taking a bit of care to speak clearly "You are most welcome." He continues to smile, "It is no trouble, we are happy to help you." His good nature showing, though he probably is nto much help in getting them to their feet at 3'8"

Jera heads over to Amaterasu and then slips her a hug about the waist and a kiss to the cheek before turning back to the Creator. "I think the priests at the Church have lodging arranged for Creators who want to visit. Perhaps you should liase with her." He motions to Memna.

Memna frowns at the creator, but bobs a formal little curtsey. "We will see what can be done to accomodate you, Lord Joe," she says, perhaps a little hesitantly, "Will you be staying with us long?"

Joe takes a deep breath of the clean air, the first hints of an approaching thunderstorm on the wind. "These Con- er, Beings will be attending me for a time," he says, "They are certainly in no condition to be on their own here." The blond man laughs, "Why, they have never even worn clothing like this until today!"

Hedge smiles and nods at the smallish weasel before his ears twitch at Joe's words. "He is true," the rabbit man fumbles, "This clothes is hard for us." His language is strange and broken and he looks very troubled as he realizes that all of the beings around him are fully clothed. Just what sort of place did these beings come from?

Kalt blinks as she looks to the rabbits, then back to Joe. The look of pure confusion plastered over her face as she opens her mouth, and then closes it in succession, as if attempting to reason out with herself on how to best phrase her next statement. "... Ah... M'thinkin'... It may be bein' best to -not- go tellin' folks such like that an' all. You know, just so no fella goes an' gets the wrong type of thoughts in their heads an' all, an' goes stirrin' up trouble..."

Cassidy dips into a bow towards Kalt, smiling behind the mask. "Thank you. I had this suit started a while ago, and it was finished by the time I returned. I'm quite fond of it, yes." She looks back towards the scene unfolding, ears listening attentively.

Mai-Mai seems to have worn herself out and lies asleep in Camille's arms. She looks just like any other rabbit being, aside from the fact that she seems to be wearing her blouse backward and the clasps on her skirt are done all wrong, as if by someone who had never used them before.

Camille cuddles Mai-mai to her, curving her neck down to hug the Rabbit-woman and stand, holding her gently close while placing a hand on Hedges shoulder and looking deep into his eyes, "It will be well, all this is different, isn't it? Still," she squeezes Hedges shoulder firmly with care and offers an honest smile of reassurance "There's a lot to do here that you may enjoy." Looking to Joe diffidently and nodding her head while closing her eyes gently, Camille looks into Joes eyes with her own Electric blue-green with shimmering gold, hair blowing gently back in the freshening breeze while her fur ruffles "Sir, would you be in need of shelter until the storm passes?"

Kalt nods gently to Cassidy as she smiles and goes to poke the Fennec in the side. "Well, it's lookin' good an' such. M'glad you're likin' the look too. Plannin' to go breakin' hearts?"

"Mmmhm," Natska agrees, nodding her head. She gestures towards the three, smiling, palm up. "And I am sure that the Church will do all they can to help, but if you need it I bet there will be a Freesword or two willing to help you and your Assisstants." Her tail sways, then curls around herself, turning to listen to Kalt and the others.
