A small crowd is gathered just inside the gates of the city, jostling for position to see the small craft at rest out on the tournament grounds. Small is relative, of course. The vessel is certainly bigger than any ocean going ship on Promise and larger than many buildings, but it is small compared to the behemoths that have visited before. A hatch in the base of the ship is open and several figures can be seen at the foot of the gangplank.

"They been sittin' like that for better part of an hour," says the droopy faced St. Bernard who is the acting gate captain this evening, "But we ain't heard nothin' from the church or the palace yet." He looks over the gathered Freeswords. "Yer sure it's alright if you lot check it out first?" he asks, "Mebe somebody from the Church'll be here soon?" The poor heavy clan hound seems like he would be just as happy either way. As long as he can pass the buck.

Crowds were never Cassidy's thing, and someone of her stature didn't much care to be jostled about trying to worm through it. So, the dapper fennec drops from the sky to land in front of the crowd, taking the easy way through. Or over, to be accurate. She takes a moment to adjust her top hat and brush off her tailcoat before leaning on her cane to await whatever might come out of the vessel!

Amaterasu managed to push her way through the crowd "What is this?" she asks, huffing a little "Creator's? Is it the merchant?" she asks, blinking and trying to see past the larger guard "Oh, Lady Cassidy. A pleasure to see you again, I am sorry for the interrupt last night. The little ones wear me out quite quick most times."

Chance walks towards where the ship was seen, preferring a more subtle approache sneaking throught the crowd to get close enough to see easily enoguh. "careful, small folk on his way through, watch your steps please!" The weasel tries to press through to get in decent view, it'd be his first time getting this close to a creator vessel.

Attracted by the growing crowd and the whispered rumors from those who were unable to go gawk, but wanted to, Natska makes her way up to the back of the crowd. She rises up on her tiptoes, peering to try and get a better view, then wrinkles her nose and begins slipping through the crowd to get closer and get a good look. She didn't *intend* to go all the way to the front, but slipping through a suggen gap between two collies leaves her in the front row. She stops there and tilts her head to the side, staring at the ship in barely veiled shock.

Camille strides through the growing crowd to see what all the noise is about and more. Hearing whispers of "Creators..." and "Silver like a mirror!" she uses her natural flexibility and push to make her way forward, a quick movment a small conversation with a stranger followed by a smile and a side-step eases her way to the vessel waitng at the end. Her first view of the ship is careful, drinking in all the details from it for later notes, and especially taking note of the two individuals waiting...waiting. Camille closely examines their equipment, and makes notes of any heraldry or insignia they may have, along with any weaponry.

The commotion had drawn the attention of Cedric all the way from the main concourse, and he'd deftly made his way through the streets towards the tournament grounds where these vessels seemed to prefer landing more often than not. Pushing through the crowd, the badger could hear a familiar voice within the crowd, and made his way towards it to see if it really was Chance getting lost among the taller beings in the crowd. Aside from the occasional heavy folk or otherwise abnomally tall being, not many were taller than he. Cedric approaches Chance from behind, crouching slightly to tap the small weasel on the shoulder. "Hey, Chance. Didn't expect to see you here." he says, with a smile. "Need a boost?" he offers the smaller mustelid a ride on his back, still crouched down to make it easier for him to get on if he so chooses.

"Excuse me dear," comes a robust, if warbling voice from the crowd, "Step aside please, Oh! Pardon me!" And a round little black bear in priest's robes and incredibly thick spectacles comes tottering amiably through the gathering of beings. "I'm from the church!" she says, "What seems to be- Oh!" The matronly little bear finally seems to notice the lit creator ship just as two of the figures seem to carry a third away from the gangplank and the others return to the belly of the ship. The third distant figure seems to struggle for a moment, then slumps in the arms of the other two as the gangplank closes and the engines of the vessel roar back to life.

"Looks like they're leavin'!" says the St Bernard Captain in surprise, "But I ain't never seen 'em leave their own before!"

Memna, the black bear priestess hikes up her skirts and starts out the gates. She isn't especially fast, and her fastest gait seems to be a bit of a waddle, but she calls back over her shoulder, "Don't none of you big, strong Freeswords bother to come help an old lady now!" She says something else too, but her words are lost as the ship lifts off the ground and into the sky, leaving the three distant figures alone on the wind swept grounds.

Cassidy sets her free hand in her pocket, glancing over towards the bear before looking towards the three individuals that had been left. "Very curious," she mumbles. She stands up proper and starts to make her way closer, twirling the black cane between her gloved fingers. "Hello over there!"

Amaterasu blinks, her interest become caution incredibly quickly as she conjures a spell in her mind. Moving forward as fast cautiously, she keeps her hand on her cloak, ready to pull it off of her if required. "We don't know the circumstances behind this, is it right to go charging in as such?! What if he's a criminal? Like those in the Shanty Town?" she asks, knowing for the moment no-one might listen. She had to say it though, voice her own fears. She never understood the creators, as good as some people, and she does refuse to believe everyone is nice and perfect. Life just doesn't work like that.

Chance grumbles as he tries to get through the crowd, nor really able to get by. Feeling a tap on his shoulder he turns and spots Cedric, "Ced, hey, oh well this is actually my first chacne to get so close to a creator vessel," He grins widely up at Cedric, "I could use it yeah, being small folk has its downsides." He carefully clambers onto Cedric's back to get a better view, letting them help him up if it'll be easier for them. Chance nudges Cedric, if allowed up, and leans down. "Maybe we should head to help out?" He smiles, hoping he isn't being a hassle for Ced.

Natska perks her ears at a familiar voice and glances around, her eyes catching on Chance; she wanders over, nods at Cedric, and points out in a hushed voice, "she said not to~" Still, the jaguar grins. "But maybe we should, yea? I'll follow if you do."

Camille move forward just enough to be at the front of the crowd, eyes alert and watching, now close enough to take in more detail of the three visiting while she surreptitiously checks her weapons to make sure they can be easily released, mind going over the math for a couple of quick and devastating spells, she looks to see if they're carrying anything that remotely resembles a weapon, stepping forward so that she's just ahead of the crowd and visible to the visitors ahead, the Tigress nodding with a slight purr of excitement, preparing for peace, and ready for more.
