There is a large, festive crowd gathered on the tournament grounds today. Hawkers selling wares, performers and general gawkers gathered at the entrance of the enormous Creator vessel. It seems that where last time the test of physical prowess had been open to all comers and all spectators, this test is meant to be rather more private. A line of attendants in identical white jumpsuits stand along the 'gangplank' of the ship with clipboards in hand, greeting volunteers. Some are accepted, while others are thanked and turned away. What sort of testing could they be doing?

Kalt makes her way to the tournament ground, the vixen's armor clinking gently as she makes her past all the hawkers, and the gawkers to the 'gangplank. Waiting in line to stand before an attendent, before she'd bow gently. "Ya said yer neein' folks for more testin'?" The Vixen's tail flicking gently as she remembers the great fun from the last time she got to test with them! Shame Rainer wasn't here to mess with.

Angus tightens the buckles on his bracers, making sure they fit well as he walks slowly behind Kalt. He had not been around for the testing last time, not wanting to miss another as he steps up next to Kalt and crosses his arms. "That, or maybe they are just here for a visit." He teases her, giving a smirk as he gazes over the location.

Siyu hmms slightly, still dressed in his billowing white desert outfit, the short rodent might be recognized, but funny that, first day back and there's already more creator nonsense? Well he's up for it. He walks wih a swish up towards the gangplank, seeing who else might be here, and what they're looking for? Hm, Angus and Kalt so far. He bows his covered head a bit to them.

Cassidy didn't want to miss another round of testing! The last one was rather fun, and -this- time she came in her own jumpsuit. Snug fitting and dark red, with black leather padding. Styled somewhat after the creator jumpsuits, but with a certain local touch to it. "Hello, Kalt! Angus," she calls as they two approach, offering a happy wave.

Kilani peers over at the strange vessel. She hasn't seen anything like this before... all the more reason to investigate, she supposes. Following the crowd as a whole, she politely declines any offer made to her by the merchants, while moving to stand in front of the attendants silently, staring at them and waiting for them to speak first, out of mild apprehension. She is dressed as she'd normally be, having no reason to be in anything special or different as of yet.

Rokarion yawns in a bored manner as the he moves towards the creator ship. Rokarion wasn't really excited about the prospect of testing at all, but the youthful plant was still quite interested in knowing what the Creator scholars were up to. Clad in his usual unassuming attire, covered by his large cloak, Rokarion steps towards the ship's ramp, offering Angus and Siyu a simple nod of acknowledgement.

A soft purr sounds, and Lady Longtail makes her way into the area. Riding atop her usual golem, Bastet. Her tail sways lightly behind her, her ears flick softly and her gaze wanders over the area with piqued curiosity.

Smiling attendants greet each being as they come, their strange, magical clip boards flashing a quick beam of light over them, apparently scanning them like a sacred doctor would.

"Miss Kalt Tiefkhul!" a female creator says, her translator helping with the pronunciation as she reaches out and pats Kalt's nose in what has unfortunately become the accepted greeting between beings and creators, "Welcome back! We would be glad to have you for this next round of testing. Please follow the lit path inside!" Cassidy receives a similar greeting.

The others are met just as cordially, if not by name and are given a quick scan by that beam of light. Each being is welcomed to join this test and instructed to follow a series of lit arrows along the floor, though there is some concern about Flora. The attendant greeting her frowns a bit at whatever his clipboard is telling him, but it is quickly replaced by a painted on smile. "We welcome you HIGHLADY Longtail," he says, "But we must ask that you leave your GOLEM behind and refrain from certain tasks in this round of tests. Please follow the lit path."

Kalt blinks as the woman pats her nose, the Vixen just blinking in confusion, before writing it off as just a creator thing... They are kind of weird after all. A swift nod of her head to the female creator as she gives a slight smile, before she begins to follow the lit path, peering slightly for a moment at those strange light up things in the floor, before focusing back on the path she was on, waiting just a moment herself for angus to catch up.

Angus stops for a moment as his nose is patted, staring at them in utter confusion as to how this is a registered greeting. "That was....odd." He states when he finally catches up with Kalt, just shaking his head a bit as he follows her along the path to whatever the creators had in store for them.

Siyu nods his hands into his robe s and he bows his head some to those gathered, "Greetings old friends..." he offers with a little smile behind the scarved robes, finally pulling it down to show his face, "Ah...Creators again..." well then, at least it's not being broadcast an intergalatic television. He still doesn't know if being adorable for millions of Creators was a good or bad thing. Simply looking as the light scans over him, "I wonder what they want this time..." he pulls back a bit from the nose pat...giving the creator an odd look and just bows in return to him.

Cassidy frowns a little at the touch to her muzzle. Her whiskers twitch, but she shrugs it off and follows after Kalt and the path, tail flicking behind her. "Hello, Siyu. Nice seeing you today," she says before giving a likewise wave to the others.

Kilani looks concerned about the scanning beam of light, before looking very confusedly at the attendant who patted her nose. She attempts to pull back from the pat, staring very unhappily at the attendant due to the physical contact, before glancing around at the other participants. She recognizes a few, which makes it mildly better, before promptly following the lighted markers with a frown still tugging at her face, very miffed about the pat.

Rokarion lets out a sigh as he gets patted on the nose, the plant not bothering with doing anything about it except nod and move towards the designated path, his jasmine scent wafting all around him as he walks with idle, yet brisk steps. Rokarion's eyes however do dart around, giving the insides of the Creator's ship a studious gaze.

A soft rumble, a small nod as Flora gestures for her golem to stay put. "Flora would prefer having Bastet nearby, yes," she mutters as she steps off and, with some effort, moves along the lit corridor. "Flora... Will try to avoid doing them, yes. Assuming Flora's told what Flora's not supposed to be doing, yes."

The lights lead the way along smooth, steel hallways. Occasionally the hallway branches, but the lit path leads straight ahead and regularly spaced Creators in uniform jump suits discourage any unauthorized exploring. It is very different from the massive arena that the beings had used the last time the science vessel landed here. After a short walk, the hallway opens into a well lit, spacious room, lined with large, cushioned chairs rooted to the floor.

Several attendants are helping a few earlier arrivals with something attached to their seats. One male attendant steps up to the group with his clipboard in hand. "Welcome!" he says, his translator speaking along with him, "Today's test will mostly involve problem solving and thinking skills. We ask that each of you take a seat. I assure you that each chair will be quite comfortable. On the arm of each chair is a small, LISTENING DEVICE that we ask you to place on your neck, here." He indicates a spot just under his jaw and ear. "It will hold itself in place and is solely for the purpose of gathering information," he continues, "When you are situated, we ask that you lay back in the chair and clearly state your name and any pertinent TITLES."

Kalt snickers slightly at Angus as she shrugs gently. "They're a bit weird yeah. But m'guessin' it's just part of their whole thing an' all." A swift nod from the vixen before she looks to the Male attendant with a slight nod before she moves to her chair. The Vixen sitting in the chair carefully as she tries to follow with what he had told her, picking up the device before putting it as best as she can, in the place he had told her too. "Uhm... Kalt Tiefkuhl, of the Solacious house."

Angus gives Kalt a hug before she moves to her seat, ears flicking as he eyes the creatro attendant. Moving over to take his seat he places the device on as he is asked, laying back in the chair before he answers. "Lord Angus Solacious of the Solacious house, also know as Captain Revel of the divine sentinel unit."

Siyu sits, and he takes the device, he looks at it somewhat curiously, but then attaches it where it was indicated, "Gang Xi Siyu, Siyu is fine for your records, of Shralestra. As for rank, nothing which matters in Firmament...merchant, trader, smith and medic."

Cassidy hums softly before moving off to settle in a seat, taking the listening device and settling it around her neck. "Lady Cassidy Solacious, of both the Solacious house of Firmament and the Cinderglow Estate, Captain of the Sweetwater military."

Kilani does as told, taking her chair and putting the device on silently, crossing her hands in her lap afterwards and waiting for the rest of them to speak first, staring up at the attendant and then stating her name quietly and curtly.. "I am known as Kilani."

Rokarion takes the offered device, shifting it left and right, scanning the object with his eyes before finally setting it on the designated spot. Rokarion then took a seat, taking the chance to take out one of his notebooks as well as some pens before muttering, "Rokarion." In his nonchalant and neutral tone.

A nod, and Flora follows the instructions to the letter, taking a moment to observe the listening-device with more piqued curiosity. "High Lady Flora Longtail, Owner and head of Longtech Industries. Inventor, non-magical scholar and golem-crafter... Flora thinks that is everything, yes."

As each being states their name, a shimmering panel of light appears before each chair, displaying the being's stated name along with a collection of charts, graphs, moving images and scrolling words and symbols. White garbed attendants walk up and down the two rows of chairs and tapping their magic clip boards. One stops to frown at some markings on Kilani's chart, but makes a few notes, then moves on.

A female Creator stands in the center of the room and clears her throat. "Welcome BEINGS of FIRMAMENT," she says, "We are grateful for your help in our scientific inquiry and assure you that everything is perfectly safe." She waves at the shimmering walls of scrolling information. "These IMAGES are showing us how your bodies and brains are reacting to the things around you. We will ask you to perform several small tasks and will gather information from the LISTENING DEVICES on your necks. Please feel free to ask questions of your attendants."

She taps something on her clip board and a small, translucent box appears, hovering in the air before each being. "Your first task," the woman says, "Is to open this box." She gives no other instructions.

Kalt blinks as the light show suddenly unfolds before her, the vixen tilting her head away for a moment, before leaning in to gently inspect the box... Well, she wants it open does she? Simple enough, the vixen just needs to use the tried and true method... Brute strength. With that simple line of thought, and assurance that would work, she reaches out to try and grab the box, and frankly rip it apart... if such was at all possible to begin with.

Angus narrows his eyes as the box appears, more of the creators strange things. Kalt's method gets his attention, watching her try and tear the thing apart before he turns back to lean forward and inspect it with his fingers to see if there are any catches or anything other then the button.

Siyu hms and considers, he tilts his head at the box, and he will simply adjust his soul gems for a moment, sliding out two gems and picking two that may help better. He adjusts his rough fingers, and then feels around the box. Seeing if there is a click, a bit of prssure, testing it, feeling it.

Cassidy tilts her head, peering at the box for a moment. She reaches out, tentatively at first, to try to take the box in both ands. Provided it's not some illusion, she looks it over for any kind of symbolism that might lend to magic. Upon finding the button, she gives it a little press and hums.

Kilani returns the strange look at the attendant, before staring at the box silently for a few minutes. She proceeds to prod the button on one side of the box, before considering for a few more seconds. She proceeds to attempt to open the box the sensible way, as one would open a chest, and attempt to slide her nails against each seam, trying to pry them in and out

Rokarion taps his chin as the holograms appear, quickly writing done some notes and doodling some sketches on his notebook before going back to the box, the plant being removing his gloves and proceeding to grab the box and inspect it from every angle, trying to figure out its mechanisms. He also begins gives the button a single press to test it before going back to his studying of the box.

A soft rumble, a tailflick, and Flora takes a moment to examine the box with a curious look on her face. Firstly, she switches her soulgems around, before taking care of the nextmost important thing: Figuring out what the box is made of, so the cat takes a moment to tap each of the sides with the screwdriver from her spark-given multitool, listening to the sounds that are created, and looking for any deformations on the surface, avoiding the buttons for now.

Afterwards, she opts to squeeze the sides, taking note of any springyness or other qualities. A few similar tests, and the cat finally opts for the most obvious act of all.

Flora presses the button, first shortly, then longer, for at least four different lenghts of time, all the while listening and watching for changes.

As the beings reach out to interact with the boxes, attendants take up places in front of each being, taking notes and watching the flickering readouts. There is a laugh from one of the beings somewhere down the line and a familiar tiger shouts, "Done!" There is a little bit of concern on the face of the lead attendant as she goes to check on things, but otherwise, the beings are left to their work.

Kalt is the first to find that one cannot really get a firm grip on the box. It seems to move away from a fast approaching hand, and when Kalt's hands wrap around it, it simply seems to compress between her palms before springing back when she lets go. The box can be moved around and rotated with gentle movements, though it seems to barely be there when touched. There do not seem to be any markings on the box, nor any seam where it might open, though pressing the small button on the side is possible, it does not seem to do anything on its own.

Kalt furrows her brow as the box seems to dance and tease her, the Vixen feeling the fur on the back of neck standing on end for a as she tries to get a gentle grip on it... Before her left hand begins to glow lightly as she tries to punch the thing with an empowered punch. Of course she could -try- pressing the button... But that was obviously just a false lead. There's no reason they'd give them such a obvious and easy test.

Angus purses his lips as he watches it start to move away. "Intresting." He murmurs as he switches out his soul gem. But the flash of light from Kalt's hand makes him blink, giving her a concerend look. "Ah hun, I don't think that is going to work." He state, ears flicking back before he turns back to gesture at the box, his hands making a spinning motion to test something.

Siyu considers a little bit as the smith slowly nods, this wasn't created in a normal way, he purses his lips some, and he looks up at the creator. "I know this is a test but I wll ask anyway. Will this react adversly to mathmagic. Creator artifacts tend to have unknown affects when poked with the wrong spell. I assume these are not harmful but I wish to make sure." if he's told it's harmless he will begin to apply spells to it. Water Magic, Earth Magic, and then Wind Magic, Seeing what the affects are to each.

Cassidy doesn't wait for the reply to Siyu's question, already working on a bit of magic to apply to the box. Pushing the button did nothing, but maybe if she pushed it with -air-. It was safer than fire.

Kalt's attack sends a flash of light through the cabin, disrupting the projection in front of her momentarily and causing her Creator attendent to fall back with a cry. "Please, LADY Solacious," the head attendant says to her as she returns, a smiling Fenris in tow, "Do restrain yourself, this is a mental exercise, after all!" The poor girl watching Kalt gets shakily to her feet and goes back to her monitoring as the projection reappears in front of Kalt.

Siyu's attendant nods his head. "MATHEMAGIC is certainly permissable, Siyu," he says, eyes flicking to the Kangaroo rat's name on his chart, "Only keep things contained, please."

Rokarion keeps staring at the box, giving his own attendant a glance, and a faint smile on his dour face. Hearing the ok for mathemagic, Rokarion decides to try something and give the box a spin while using air mathemagic to press the button, if that failed he would attempt the same method but without using mathemagic.

A soft rumble, a small smile, and Flora uses her paws to guide the box a little closer, curiously looking over it once more. First, she attempts something similar to Angus, before making a gesture as if opening a box from one side. If neither is successful, she'd attempt the same sort of motions in three different configurations... One time, she mutters the word 'open' during the procedure, once, she holds down the button, and finally, she combines the three acts into one.

It looks like Angus is on to something as the box spins gently in the air in sync with the motions of his hand. Stray bits of air magic start to blow zephyrs through the cabin as several beings start to stir up the air after hearing the answer to Siyu's question, and the Creator attendants start to madly take notes. Unfortunately, no mathemagics seem to have any effect on the the little floating cubes. On the other hand, Rokarion seems to be able to get quite a bit of reaction from the little thing simply by waving his hand about and Flora actually manages to get the little thing to open! The lid swings up, and the projection vanishes with a little flash. "Well done!" says her attendant, "Please wait while the others finish."

Kalt furrows her brow at Angus' words, and then the chiding from the creator. The Vixen's tail flicking some in aggitation as she looked the box over... She lacked Mathmagics like the others, but she had a thought. Her hands gently gripping the box, as she works to try and make her hands glow bright with light similiar to before, remembering how it seemed to affect the box, before she goes to press the button on the side. If anything, she ernestly believed she might be able to break this thing.

Angus perks his ears as he notices Flora is done, frowning before he turns back to the box. "Open?" He asks, mimicing tapping the buttons without actually physically touching them, before making an opening motion.

Siyu considers as the magics really don't affect anything. He considers, and then tries to do a few hand motions. He slides his fingers around, making several vartions of open with his fingers, roatating, twisting, opening and unfolding. Trying to think of the best way to express "open"

Rather than try to come up with something new on her own... Cassidy just watches Flora, then decided to copy her actions. She didn't have terribly much experience with creator objects, but she was good at mimicry! And if it worked for Flora, it should work for hers, too, right?

Kilani has been quietly observing the others, having left her box completely alone as she did so. It seems spying may be mildly paying off, as she sees the strange plant-being, whose petals look like they'd make a rather good snack, move the box with a circle hand movement, and the other, the cat-lady with kittens developing, open it completely. She was naturally unable to hear the words over the loud room, but attempts to mimic the motions, holding the button down and trying to wave her hand, controlledly, at a face, as if trying to lift a lid or open a door from a distance.

Noticing how the box reacted, the young plant being tapped his chin before going back through his motions again, circling the box, clicking the button, and then adding an opening gesture towards it while muttering 'open', remembering from his knowledge that voice commands are sometime needed. The plant being would then continue do all of those actions in different orders, seeing which gave the most of the reaction.

A smile adorns Flora's muzzle, and the she-cat rumbles with a flick of her tail. She seems to be pleased with her progress, so far, regardless of the fact that Fenris beat her to it.

"Kalt!" the fox's attendant, says in a strangled little cry, "Please! D-don't do that again!" But the gathered energy seems to have no effect except to cause the edges of the little box to become fuzzy and indistinct. Angus, Cassidy and Rokarion all open the little magic boxes, causing them to vanish while the Creators tap manically on their clip boards. Siyu seems to just about have it, but each time he makes an opening motion, the little button just flashes green! Kilani seems to be having the same problem.

"Don't go worryin' I ain't gonna try an' punch it again... M'tryin' sumptin'" Kalt's words half spoken from her mouth as she focuses, trying to make the light even brighter as she works to gently press the button, while spinning the device. It was a tricky illusion they had, but it seemed like light caused it issues, and if light could distort it, then forcing it to deal with the light while activly having to operate, should stand for an even better chance of breaking it! After all, the vixen gave up all hopes on mere brute force now, instead continuing to spin it and click the button as often as she can while keeping her light bright.

Angus pops open the box, giving a bit of a smirk as he sits back to watch Kalt. "Hun, I think you may want to be careful before you break the thing." His tail flicks back and forth silently as he waits to see what the Creators do now that he is finished.

Siyu tisks, and he nods, "So it's the combination, well done..." he makes the motion and says open to it. Figuring that it's the combined work to get it down. He considers a little bit, "I wonder exactly how it appeared, hm..." he considers.

Cassidy claps softly when her box opens. Sure, she might not have solved it herself, but... She was being resourceful, yes. That's what it was. Thinking outside the box, as it were. She turns her attention, then, to see how the others were doing.

Rokarion nods to himself as the box opens, quickly grabbing his notebook and going on a flurry of his own notes, almost comically mimicking the Creators. The plant simply focuses on his own notes while waiting for the Creators' next move.

Kilani glances at the others once more, her ears twitching as the practical chorus of 'open' rises up from the others. She tries it once more, leaning in to the box carefully and whispering the same word to it as well, taking care not to alert the others to it, then leaning back to watch.

Now that the majority of beings in the room seem to have caught on, there is a series of flashes as one after another gets the box open. Soon it is only Kalt and her experiment left. "I am sorry, Miss," the attendant finally says to the thoughtful vixen prodding at the simulated box with glowing hands, "But we must move on the the next test." The statistics screens continue to monitor the various beings, but it seems that one chair remains empty where Fenris had been seated.

"Everyone," the lead attendant says, returning from wherever she went, "We ask you to please relax. The next test will be AN ILLUSION meant to test your reactions to certain stimuli." As she speaks, the soft chairs tilt and recline, moving beings into more relaxed positions, as a sort of visor lowers itself over each beings eyes, blocking out outside light and sound. "Again," comes the voice of the attendant, "Please relax, there is nothing to worry about."

Kalt huffs gently as she nods to the attendant and works to relax into her seat. THe Vixen a little disapointed in her inability to break the strange box... But, now she knows light can mess with some of the creator toys! She'll have to keep that in mind for the future, as the visor lowers itself over her eyes. The Vixen fidgeting slightly as she awaits for the start of this next test.

Angus takes a deep breath as they ask him to relax, using a technique he had learned through years of combat to quiet his mind and relax his body. AS the visor lowers over his eyes he watches silently, the only motion coming from the fox being his ears flicking back and forth.

Siyu grunts a bit and he just makes sure he's not restrained. He simply attempts to move his arms and his legs. Simulation but he can move at least. Right, simulation...he gives a faint little sigh and he leans back and attempts to get into posistion

Cassidy furrows her brow as her seat is lowered and the visor placed over her eyes. She didn't particularly like being blinded in such a way, but she takes a deep breath trying to relax. "I am ready," she says quietly, stilling her b ody.

Rokarion takes a deep breath, adding a couple of final notes before hiding his notebook and pen under his cloak again and letting his body to relax a bit as the device surrounds his eyes and some of his leafy ears, waiting to see what will happen next.

Another soft rumble, and Flora leans back in her chair, tail curled around her leg, ears flicking lightly and her eyes cast over the visor momentarily. Soon enough, she's relaxed and waiting for her next test.

Suddenly, the test is over! The visor goes up and you are left to face everyone else and they are laughing. Everyone is laughing because you failed the test. Even the creators in their white jump suits are laughing! The test had been so easy, too! How could you have possibly failed so badly? And now they are going to give your results to the academy! And everyone will know what a miserable loser you are! Unless you do something about it. So far only these beings laughing at you know about what happened, and the results are in that machine on the chair.

Kalt growls lowly as people are suddenly laughing at her... Sure, she couldn'

Kalt growls lowly as people are suddenly laughing at her... Sure, she couldn't open the damned box, but neith--- Oh wait. She was the only one to fail at opening the box... The simple test, that aparantly everyone but her could get. If anything, that just chilled her blood and made her more angered than she had been for quite a long time! The Vixen jerking herself from her chair to try and break that damned computer first, what ever these jokers think they get to laugh at, she was going to try and show them all...

Angus narrows his eyes as he sits up, the laughter honestly getting on his nerves a bit. "Cute." He growls a bit as he stands up and looks around to see if others where around him before he turns his gaze back to the creators.

Siyu blinks as he's now standing and everyone is laughing, his cheeks flush, and he feels the embaressment immeditly but...the seven hells? He does't remember the scenario, he doesnt' remember what he did wrong and...Angus and Rokarion and everyone else is laughing AT him. The disconnect is causing him he work his jaw and he's not sure what it is. This is wrong, and he pauses and doesn't react, except for the natural flush and embaressment from the situation. He feels it, he belives it, but the scism of what he knows versus what's being projected is starting to cause some mental distress. "This. Is most definetly wrong."

Cassidy furrows her brow. This was... Honestly, the first time in her life she'd ever been laughed at. And leave it to an offworlder to do it! Must would never laugh at someone like her. Oh, sure, she saw through the illusion for what it was, but... There was something jarring about it. About being laughed at. Despite the facade, she couldn't help but feel a little annoyed.

Kilani blinks! The images were certainly dancing, but she was extremely indignant about this! She knew it wasn't real! From the start! She skitters out of her seat to a stand, looking angrily at the creators standing there. She states, loudly, but without emotion, "Tricks. All of them. I knew this from the very beginning... hardly a fail, now.."

Rokarion let out a rather bored yawn, he was honestly expecting something a bit more fancy from the creators, but he doesn't know what they are testing anyhow. The plant being decides to remain seated as the illusion keeps on going; the dour mage was not going to lower himself to actually playing along with such an illusion, instead just keeping on his nonchalant expression as he waits for things to end, not to mention that even with his current insouciant personality, Rokarion was still ever so faintly annoyed at the idea of having his intelligence mocked. "When this insulting charade is over do say so." He said, tone indifferent as usual.

A soft rumble sounds from the feline in question as she blinks a few moments. Her tails sway behind her, and she watches those present for a short moment, before an idea dawns on her... "Change control of false world to High Lady Flora Longtail. Yes," she mutters, her tails swaying behind her as she tests to see if that works. "Remove that, that and that, yes. And make people stop laughing," she adds after a moment of contemplation, pointing at two chairs and one of the creators. "And give Flora one of those floating-light tables, yes yes."

The simulation flickers and warps in everyone's eyes, and suddenly it is gone. Each being stares only into the darkness of their visor. There is a great deal of hushed conversation between the Creator attendants. Some have even neglected to turn off their translators. ". . . Unexpected reactions," comes a voice, "Even the most susceptible showed unexpected MIND BREAK and one of them even started to manipulate the ILLUSION!" Another voice interrupts. "And the data is incredible!" it mutters, "We have never seen manufactured BEINGS with this sort of BRAIN output! Did you see the activity when they were using MATHEMAGIC?" The chairs remain reclined and the visors down. What is going on out there?

Kalt blinks slightly as suddenly the illusion vanishes, just as she about to teach her Creator Monitor why being afraid of the vixen was a good idea. "... Uh... M'assumin'... Wot? Can ya get this thing off me?" THe Vixen fidgeting slightly as she reaches up to push at the visor, wanting to merely huff and relax as she tries to work off that rage for a moment, before she almost snaps her words out. "Please!?"

Angus lets out a pent up breath, hands unclenching a bit as he closes his eyes and calmly stays laying there. He was curious as to what they are saying and what this might mean for Promise as he tries listening in.

Siyu feels panic, pulse rising, and injection of adrenaline, reactions to the situation, being mocke,d laughed at, and also the rising panic of knowing somthing is wrong, but not knowing how to fix it. Suddenly though it's switched off. He ghasps a bit, and lets out a low breath as his heart beats in his chest and he gripes the armrests firmly. Swallowing, counting to ten, and trying to find a meditative poiint and posistion. Aranian training gives him some help, finding his center and calming himself now that he doesn't have any direct stimulation. He rests, calmly, not moving, not trusting the movement until he is calm. Well that was upsetting.

Cassidy gives a flick of her ears at the words, listening quietly until that last line. "We are not manufactured constructs, you know," she says calmly and quietly, more informative than anything. "Our ancestors were, sure, but... We were born. We have generations and families. We learn, grow, and think like many of the Creators I have seen. Dreams, aspirations... Talents and goals. We all have our own skillsets. We might be strangers to your technology, but we're not helpless children, really."

Kilani blinks again, glancing around in the darkness, ears twitching every which way to pick up all of the noises. She blinks again, trying to recollect herself. It's not normally like her to get angry like that... She then comments, more muttering to herself then speaking to the others, "Strange illusion. Designed to... provoke a response? Certainly achieved that, as false as it was."

Rokarion puffs his cheeks and lets out another breath before attempting to softly push his visor to see if he can remove it, if not he would simply go back to sitting on the chair, a hand tapping on the chair's arm as he listens on whatever the creator's are talking about, mulling over in his thoughts about what they were trying to discover with their tests, the mention of offworld beings piqued his interest even more.

"Can... Can Flora go back in? Flora was enjoying herself, yes. Flora would like to go back in... Or Flora would like one or two of those chairs, yes. Flora would be okay with that too," the cat mumbles after a moment of contemplation, her tails swaying, more than a bit agitatedly, to be honest... Seems she was the one having fun inside the illusion.

"Oh! EXPLICATIVE!" shouts one of the attendants and the visors rise off the struggling beings heads. Gradually, the reclining chairs rise back up and the volunteers are seated comfortably once more. The uniformed Creators are once again all smiles. The leader steps forward once more, the various information projections shimmering around her. "We are very sorry for any discomfort you may have experienced and are very grateful for your help," she says through a painted on smile that gets especially tight at Cassidy's comment, and almost ill when Flora speaks up. "We have prepared a bit of refreshment for you in the next room and we have prepared some payment to compensate you for your time," she says through gritted teeth, "Please leave your LISTENING DEVICES in the bin by the door."

Kalt sighs with relief as the visor is lifted, the vixen standing and removing the device from herself before marching almost too the door to leave it in the bin. Waiting for a few moments to have Angus and the others catch up, before going for her food and refreshments.

Angus stands up, leaving the visor where it was on the chair as he follows after Kalt. His tail flicked in irritation as he tries to keep himself calm after what had just happened. "I don't know what happened in that chair, but I hope we don't deal with those...things anytime soon." He states, still trying to fake ignorance as he moves to the refreshments.

Siyu feels the visor rise up...and he takes off the listening devices. He stares at it. and begins to hold it into his hand. "Of all the things here this was cloest to us...they were testing our minds." he holds it up and stares at it, gently tilting his head and playing his fingers over it. So, probably wasn't waht they said. Especially since there was a translation error. He's learing to pay attention when the translator breaks. He fiddles with it.

Cassidy removes the device and frowns at the creator, obviously picking up on the... False smile. "What seems to be the problem? I am sorry if we are... Not as complacent as the ones you are accustomed to, but that does not mean we cannot be friends and allies," she states, moving over to place the device in the designated bin.

Kilani dusts off her clothes, as if she had just fell through the rabbit whole, and stretches a bit, leveling her gaze with the overtly polite attendant. She decides that, no, she doesn't like creators that much. They're strange, and sometimes rude. She glances at Cassidy for a second, before trying to slide the listening device in to her pocket, hoping nobody notices, and takes off towards the exit at a brisk pace.

Rokarion stands up and lets out another yawn eyeing the device in his hand for a moment, it was an interesting thing, and he could keep it. . . nah, the plant being decides otherwise and moves to drop the device in the designated bin, really hardly worth the effort anyway he will just sketch it later, "I hope that you are planning on leaving us be and just do those studies." He adds nonchalantly to the Creators.

"Flora will have to talk with mister Creator Harkenson, yes. Flora wants one of those chairs. Or a glowing-light table, yes," the cat mutters after a moment, practically refusing to get out of her seat for the time being. In fact, it's going to take the nearest creator at least a few minutes of explaining that no, she can't go back into the 'illusion'... Eventually, though, the she-cat relents, muttering something under her breath.

The uniformed Creators look relieved as the beings file toward the exit into the next room where a table laden with delicious food of all sorts awaits them, as well as a pouch of crown and tokens from the freesword guild marked with each being's name. As Kilani reaches the door, her little bit of prestidigitation goes unnoticed, until a sudden tingling jolt goes through her as she crosses the threshold and a red light starts to flash. A creator steps up to her and holds out a hand. "Return the LISTENING DEVICE, please," he says, waiting for her to comply while another attendant attempts to cajole Flora from her seat with promises to convey her desires to Mister Harkinson.

The lead attendant looks to Cassidy with a bewildered look. "What?" she asks, "No! Of course! We would never think of you as. . . well, I mean. . ." she stops and bites her lip, then nods, "We have much to learn from you, LADY Cassidy."

Kalt turns her head to the scene of Kilani being caught, before sighing and looking to Angus with a gentle smile. "... We'll figure sumptin' out. Lets just get our stuff, an' head on out to the manor. No need draggin' our feet here love." The Vixen nodding gently as she picks up her bag and nods to Angus, waiting for him.

Siyu looks at the device, and he puts it back on and then takes it back off again, staring at the display and he nods, "Ah that's what it does.." he puts it back and he takes a deep breath, standing and then going to walk quietly out. He looks over at the creators, "That was as subtle as setting my robes on fire...I would have expected a little more subterfuge..." he sniffs, somewhat annoyed and he walks out. Taking whatever they give him and still feelign annoyed.

Angus gives Kalt a curt nod as he snags up the bag with his name on it, leaning over to plant a kiss on Kalt's cheek. "Sounds like a good idea, think I need a break from all the excitement anyway." His tail flicks a little as he wraps an arm around Kalt's waist and walks out with her.

Cassidy nods slowly, adjusting the collar of her jumpsuit. "Well. I know you wouldn't, but I could tell you were unnerved or disgruntled by something. I just want to make sure we have no hard feelings or anything," she says, offering a wave as she starts to go.

Kilani begins to complain, even getting ready to bolt, until something holds her in place. With a mild sigh, she removes the device from her pocket and hands it off. It does seem a rather good idea... why was she thinking about keeping it in the first place? Huh. Strange. She proceeds to move forward after giving it off, suddenly finding the food rather appealing, not to mention the wealth of coins to be gained from the table. She can't shake that werid feeling from the device... shouldn't be a problem, though. Hopefully.

Satisfied with the creators' response, not really, Rokarion heads outside the ship and into Firamament once more.

A soft rumble, a shake of the head. "Mister Creator Harkinson is unlikely to give one to Flora, yes... Hence why Flora would prefer to schedule some time on these, yes," the cat mutters after a bit of contemplation, her tails swaying behind her, still agitatedly as she looks towards the creator that eventually got her out of her chair. Not so much due to convincing-power, but more due arguing being an exercise n futility.

For better or for worse, the test is over, and the Creators have provided a rather nice spread. Whatever tension may have prevailed in the testing room seems to have passed for the moment, though occasionally whispered conversations about something going on elsewhere on the ship can be overheard. Something about a missing tiger. Probably not important.
