The strange golem just stands there doing nothing at all, that is till Rixo speaks. "Commands not recognised." is its responce. The odd thing, standing as it does, takes up nearly the whole path however.<br> <br>Selena sighs as the colossal creator obstruction remains firmly in place. "...Remind me next time to jump own on the other side of whatever piece of metal I see." She comments idly. "Does anyone have a better idea than seeing if we can put a hole in it with math? Possible or otherwise, since I'm going to assume climbing around it wouldn't end too well either."<br> <br>Sveta casts one last critical eye over the golem. "I recognise this thing - it's made for...ah...destructive purposes. Well, speaking of made, though, it's not very well-made. Shoddy. Wouldn't say a creator made it, more an imitation of such, in my opinion, and we could take it apart if absolutely necessary. But since it speaks...we might as well try and figure out what it wants."<br> <br>Angus sighs as he taps his blade against he side. "Wonder if it will tell us anything." He wasn't in the mood to fight Creator Tech, even if it was a Shoddy fake. "....Anyone want to ask it?" He had a feeling he knew what to say, but that would destroy his disguise. <br> <br>Rixo folds her arms. "I will, sure. I'd rather not have to fight, if it can be avoided. What do you want?" She peers at the golem from behind her helmet. "Why are you here?"<br> <br>Ictus peers at the golem more and hmms, "Well... This'll be interesting." he looks at Selena and shrugs, "No idea." then Sveta speaks and he sighs, "Imitation?" he shivers a little with a shake of his head, "I really hope it's not them..." he mumbles before looking back to the machine as Rixo speaks, "Hmm, those aren't really commands..."<br> <br>The winds continue to get worse, threatening to blow away anything not firmly attached to its owner! More small rocks fall form the side of the mountain, but the golem-like creation seems undaunted. It does however light up when Rixo speaks again, "Initiate Protocol sigma." Then in a faintly familiar voice, it speaks, "What is your Name? What is your Quest?" Then stands a bit more errect, and threateningly, "None may pass without answering these questions! And more!"<br> <br>Selena mutters something under her breath. "Selena, and I'm here to find out what these are or get some other bit of information from that 'oracle'." She replies, taking one of the pair of antlers from her bag and displaying it to the machine. "Don't waste our time with trifling questions. Whoever it is at the top invited beings to come." Apparently, she's not too troubled by the size of the machine or its imposing figure at the moment.<br> <br>Sveta cracks a grin, clearly enthused by Selena's forthrightness. "Sveta, and I'll second what Selena over there said. Don't have much to add, really."<br> <br>Angus takes a step up next to Selena and nods. "Allistar, and I'm just here to ask questions honestly." His gaze flashed across the golem, taking not of anything that looked like a weak point. Open notches in it's armor, dents, cracks. Anything that would inflict more then a flesh wound, and send the paths guardian to it's doom. <br> <br>Rixo places a hand to her chest. "I am Rixo! I came because I was curious, that is all." She gives a shrug to Ictus. "Maybe not a command, but it seems to be working, eh?"<br> <br>Ictus looks around at the wind and frowns before looking back to the golem, "I am Ictus, I came to ask questions about the spirits." he looks to Selena and chuckles at that before he looks to Rixo with a nod, "True."<br> <br>The golem-like object's lights flicker a few times and seems to be working out something. "Users identified, warning, Allistar not recognised! Processing......" it sits mostly silently for a short time. Then, it simply moves aside, "Welcome, your questions will be answered, the sage awaites at the top." Then it goes completely silent, lights no longer functioning. Very odd... The path however, narrows behind it, becoming little more then ledge. A few more rocks fall from the top, but in the distance another machine can be seen as well.<br> <br>Selena blinks as the machine moves, rolling her eyes. "I get the feeling I know the person behind that obstruction all of a sudden." She comments, shaking her head. "Well. That remains to be seen." the wolfess mutters, continuing on the path - though she does look tempted to throw a rock at the thing - unburdened, of course. A burdened rock would be silly and besides, there's plenty of metal to throw something at if there are more asinine question-asking robots.<br> <br>Sveta shrugs, and begins following Selena down the path. There's not much for her to say at this juncture, and in any case she'd probably be more content with remaining silent - although Selena's comment about knowing who was behind the golem was intiguing, in a detached sort of way. Not that she'd probably know the person anyway, even so - being shut up indoors all day doesn't do wonders for one's social skills.<br> <br>Angus blinks as he goes unrecognized before it goes silent, his stance widening as he prepares to either lunge at it or backpedal. That is before it lets them pass and makes his cautiousness all for not. Sighing he finally decides to put his sword away, giving the golem an icey glare as he walks by it. Questions buzzing in his thoughts as he wonders exactly what it meant, and what it knew.<br> <br>Rixo rubs her neck at the path. "Well. This might be a bit harder than before. Still better than climbing though." She starts to make her way across, as carefully as she can. Rixo nearly loses her footing more than once, but she manages to get across.<br> <br>Ictus blinks at the machine and tilts his head curiously, "Odd..." he looks at the golem suspisciously before he looks at Selena and chuckles, "Oh? Who might that be?" he ponders as he looks at the ledge before crossing carefully

Up on the Silvervein Pass, there is a good bit of activity. A few people have gathered and are murring, "Where did she come from?" says a robin, pointing up the path, "I haven't a clue, she just... appeared it seems." Replies a snapping turtle. The path looks treatours to say the least, like it hasn't been used in many years. However, with a clear sky overhead, and the sun to the back of anyone who would try to venture up it, there shouldn't be too many surprises.

Selena makes her way along to the pass with a quiet sigh, looking about the crowd for any familiar faces. The absence thereof doesn't seem to bother her as she loks about the area, taking a look at the beaten down path - though the conversation does prompt a scoff from the wolfess, who mutters something to herself under her breath with a wry smile.

Sveta is dressed for the high altitudes as she makes her way up the path and through the small crowd, easily elbowing aside anyone who happens to be directly in her path - it's amazing what one can get away with if one behaves like they have every right to it. Well, she probably wouldn't elbow someone she personally knew, but she hasn't seen any familiar faces yet.

Heights, why in the world did it have to be heights. Angus sighed as he followed the path, his usual outfit that he used for his disguise traded in for gear better suited for the higher altitude. Unlike Sveta he didn't shoulder anyone out of the way, and instead just followed in her wake, checking to see if anyone was their that look familiar. "Shouldn't be to many surprises Hah...like I haven't heard that one before..."

Rixo makes her way up the path, encased in her rattling plate as always. "Surprises? I should hope not." Her helmet is off, hanging from her belt. "Hello, by the way! I hope you don't mind if I accompany any of you that are planning on going up."

Arriving on the scene is a certain noble fox. Ictus hmms as he looks around and ponders as he spots the others he knows, "Heh, fancy meeting you here." he chuckles a bit

A shrill wind begins to blow, causing many to start to shiver. Most of the beings shake their heads, "No way of getting up there, how did she do it?" Says a skunk, and a rhino replies, "Climbing the rock face? As far as I can see." A guard, lioness, steps up, "That path has been closed for a long time, it is more over run then most other regions." But seeing the arrival of some gifted, she smiles a bit, "Perhaps, these souls would be willing to try though? The only information we have on her is that she preaches about some spirits that can save us, that are more powerful then even our beloved creators, and that she can prove the strength of these entites to those willing to seek the knowledge." She then steps aside from the path, to let any who are brave, or foolish, enough the chance, "Go with these warning however."

Selena doesn't immediately recognise the group pushing their way through the crowd, though when they pass closer and a better look is available she does greet them with a wave and makes her way over. "Speaking of Spirits, I think I have a few questions for this alleged oracle." she mutters, checking the wind and elevation of the higher sections of the cliff - then the stability of the rocks on the sheer wall. "Let's see, flight, climbing, walking around for another way, maybe one of the caves in the region. No, I can't imagine a way someone could get up there at all." She mutters, then taking off from the ground in a puff wind - though intentionally staying close to the cliff face for handholds in the event the wind picks up.

Sveta acknowledges Selena's wave with a dip of her head, but remains decidedly silent throughout. She watches the wolfess' ascent for a second or two, then stretches her wings and - not really paying that much attention to the prevailing wind - begins her own ascent. Yep, no way someone could've gotten up there, right?

Angus gives all a nod, before he turns to Rixo. "Why not, don't see the problem." The guard soon catches his attention when they start speaking of spirits that might more powerful then the creators, causing him to tighten his grip on the hand of his blade before he sighs and walked up to the cliffside. "Ya....this should be intresting to climb." He muttered, watching both Selena and Sveta take to the sky as he stayed firmly planted on the ground. Even he had limits, and trying to fly while on a moutain was definitly one of them.

Rixo rubs at one of her ears as she moves to stand next to Allistar. "It's been a while since I've been mountain climbing. This will be fun. Hopefully I haven't gone soft!" She stretches out, trying to limber up.

Ictus peers at the guard and ponders that, "Interesting..." he sighs as the two start to fly and frowns as he eyes the cliff face for any holds, "Well... I can say I've never climbed a mountain without equipment..."

There are quiet a few handholds and juts in the side of the mountain up toward the peak, though the stability of them may come into question. There is also the winding path that guard is standing next to. The flight of Selena and Sveta goes smoothly enough, but they both have the misfortune of making their first landing on a far from sturdy jut in the side of the cliff! Selena's quick reactions affords her a hand hold she can grip to, however, Sveta is far from so lucky, and ends up sliding back down the way she had come, tumbling a few times on the way down. Gradually the cross winds being to pick up.

Rocks and debree rain down upon those still near the path, as the jut falls down upon them as well!

Selena mutters something under her breath as she clings to the ingress, working some earth math with evident difficulty - though there's some success, now having a more stable foothold for the time being at the expense of a few small rocks tubling down the side of the cliff.

Sveta lands on the ground below with a faint thump, slightly scuffed from the fall but mostly ruffled. 'Tis mostly a flesh wound, so it would seem. Scowling, the goshawk picks herself up, makes a show of smoothing out the worst of her ruffled feathers, and looks up at Selena before cupping her hands to shout against the wind. "I don't suppose you've got any rope on you like that last time, do you?"

Angus covers his head and stumbles back to avoid the falling debris. "Hey now, careful!" Sighing he glances at the others. "So, anyone up for the path? Or we voting on scaling the cliff? As I'm up for it either way reall."

Rixo brings up one of her plated arms to cover her face as the tiny rocks fall down towards her. "Yes, careful, please! I don't want to be crushed. And... I'll probably take the path, honestly, unless we must climb the cliff, directly."

Ictus winces as the cliff comes down and moves back a bit, thankfully avoiding the debris, "Well, can't fly obviously..." he looks at Selena, "We're going to try the path. Try to come down if you can." as he eyes the path carefully

The winds continue to alter and shift, crossing each other a few times before settling for just a brief moment, then picking back up. Down the path there seems to be quite a few of the indiginous creatures, but they keep a wide breath from the adventures, for now. The path bends and curves many times over, a few times back upon itself. It isn't long however before an unusual creature bars the path. It is... like a golem, but crafted entirely from Creator Steel, parts of Creator Machines!

Selena makes a gesture down to the others, clearly an 'OK' before she begins to move around the cliff flace and down - each movement slow, tentative. After approaching the stretch of path the others would soon be arriving at, she drops the last short distance, and sizes up the creator golem a little apprehensively.

Sveta looks up at Selena drop down onto the path, and shrugs. Clearly the wolfess hadn't heard her...oh well, nothing to it. Deciding not to risk another attempt at the cliff, the goshawk ambles down the path, trying not to let her somewhat more foul mood at her failure show too much. The creator golem, however, has her stop and consider matters. Perhaps...reaching into her pockets for her spare soul gems, Sveta hides just out of sight by the side of the path and swaps hers, waiting the full minute for the change to take effect before attempting to discreetly inspect the golem from afar.

Angus watched Selena's progress as he walked the path, making sure no more debris comes crashing down on his head again as well. Ictus hmms at the golem as he comes across it and looks to the others with a sigh, "I suppose it's too much to hope to not fight this thing?" he looks at the golem curiously, but doesn't move to draw any weapons, yet...

The winds continue to shift, and the sun beat down upon all around, a sudden gust tells of some thermals that blow upward around the area. The strange golem just stands there doing nothing at all, that is till Rixo speaks. "Commands not recognised." is its responce. The odd thing, standing as it does, takes up nearly the whole path however.

Selena sighs as the colossal creator obstruction remains firmly in place. "...Remind me next time to jump own on the other side of whatever piece of metal I see." She comments idly. "Does anyone have a better idea than seeing if we can put a hole in it with math? Possible or otherwise, since I'm going to assume climbing around it wouldn't end too well either."

Sveta casts one last critical eye over the golem. "I recognise this thing - it's made for...ah...destructive purposes. Well, speaking of made, though, it's not very well-made. Shoddy. Wouldn't say a creator made it, more an imitation of such, in my opinion, and we could take it apart if absolutely necessary. But since it speaks...we might as well try and figure out what it wants."

Angus sighs as he taps his blade against he side. "Wonder if it will tell us anything." He wasn't in the mood to fight Creator Tech, even if it was a Shoddy fake. "....Anyone want to ask it?" He had a feeling he knew what to say, but that would destroy his disguise.

Rixo folds her arms. "I will, sure. I'd rather not have to fight, if it can be avoided. What do you want?" She peers at the golem from behind her helmet. "Why are you here?"

Ictus peers at the golem more and hmms, "Well... This'll be interesting." he looks at Selena and shrugs, "No idea." then Sveta speaks and he sighs, "Imitation?" he shivers a little with a shake of his head, "I really hope it's not them..." he mumbles before looking back to the machine as Rixo speaks, "Hmm, those aren't really commands..."

The winds continue to get worse, threatening to blow away anything not firmly attached to its owner! And more!"

Selena mutters something under her breath. "Selena, and I'm here to find out what these are or get some other bit of information from that 'oracle'." She replies, taking one of the pair of antlers from her bag and displaying it to the machine. "Don't waste our time with trifling questions. Whoever it is at the top invited beings to come." Apparently, she's not too troubled by the size of the machine or its imposing figure at the moment.

Sveta cracks a grin, clearly enthused by Selena's forthrightness. "Sveta, and I'll second what Selena over there said. Don't have much to add, really."

Angus takes a step up next to Selena and nods. "Allistar, and I'm just here to ask questions honestly." His gaze flashed across the golem, taking not of anything that looked like a weak point. Open notches in it's armor, dents, cracks. Anything that would inflict more then a flesh wound, and send the paths guardian to it's doom.

Rixo places a hand to her chest. "I am Rixo! I came because I was curious, that is all." She gives a shrug to Ictus. "Maybe not a command, but it seems to be working, eh?"

Ictus looks around at the wind and frowns before looking back to the golem, "I am Ictus, I came to ask questions about the spirits." he looks to Selena and chuckles at that before he looks to Rixo with a nod, "True."

The golem-like object's lights flicker a few times and seems to be working out something. A few more rocks fall from the top, but in the distance another machine can be seen as well.

Selena blinks as the machine moves, rolling her eyes. "I get the feeling I know the person behind that obstruction all of a sudden." She comments, shaking her head. "Well. That remains to be seen." the wolfess mutters, continuing on the path - though she does look tempted to throw a rock at the thing - unburdened, of course. A burdened rock would be silly and besides, there's plenty of metal to throw something at if there are more asinine question-asking robots.

Sveta shrugs, and begins following Selena down the path. There's not much for her to say at this juncture, and in any case she'd probably be more content with remaining silent - although Selena's comment about knowing who was behind the golem was intiguing, in a detached sort of way. Not that she'd probably know the person anyway, even so - being shut up indoors all day doesn't do wonders for one's social skills.

Angus blinks as he goes unrecognized before it goes silent, his stance widening as he prepares to either lunge at it or backpedal. That is before it lets them pass and makes his cautiousness all for not. Sighing he finally decides to put his sword away, giving the golem an icey glare as he walks by it. Questions buzzing in his thoughts as he wonders exactly what it meant, and what it knew.

Rixo rubs her neck at the path. "Well. This might be a bit harder than before. Still better than climbing though." She starts to make her way across, as carefully as she can. Rixo nearly loses her footing more than once, but she manages to get across.

Ictus blinks at the machine and tilts his head curiously, "Odd..." he looks at the golem suspisciously before he looks at Selena and chuckles, "Oh? Who might that be?" he ponders as he looks at the ledge before crossing carefully
