Sure enough, Amos is waiting on the empty dock, staring out at the ocean with his hands jammed deep in the pockets of his worn, black spyguard coat. The grizzled and scarred old tomcat cuts a rather unnerving figure with his tattered ear and milky white eye with that awful scar over it. He looks away from the water to the beings gathering at his behest. "Let's get a move on boys and girls," he rasps, "We're wasting daylight!"

Cassidy makes her way down the dock towards Amos, brow raised and dressed up in her body suit today. Worn over it is a long, black leather coat, fastened above the waist. "So, uh... The docks, hm? We need a boat, or something?" She asks, adjusting her hat.

Natska arrives with Cassidy, wearing her short black jacket over her own reinforced jump suit, her rapier and her knife at her side. She gives Amos a quick nod as she falls into place. "Right. What did you lose?" she asks, tone low, instinctually tending towards secrecy.

Angus frowns and folds a piece of paper that he stuffs into a pocket as he walks up to the slowly growing group. "Should of called us down here earlier if you were worrying about daylight." He retorts a little gruffly as he rests his hands on his hips and takes a look around for whatever boat they were going to use.

Rokarion marched in a confident gait towards the group, the plant being clad in their body covering heavy cloak. Rokarion noticed Angus, raising a petalled eyebrow at the noble who has apparently lain low for quite a while, Rokarion wondered what form of trouble could Angus get him into this time around, but quickly shook his head and looked at Amos, staff hidden behind his cloak, and waiting for his command.

Making his way onto the dock, equipped with a spear, three swords and a bladed leather gauntlet, Thelergramor is wearing somewhat simple clothes today. And is a basilisk. Yup. All scaley and reptilian... "Cassidy, Natska, looking good today." Spoken a bit quietly. Whispers something to them, nods, smirks. "Angus. Good to see you." Acts like he wasn't all kinds of sad and lonely without his friend around and that he -didn't- build a golem of the fox because he missed him. He turns to nod at Rokarion, then back to Amos: "Right, so what'd'ya need us for?"

"No, Missy," Amos says, "No need for a boat." He turns his milky, blind eye on the fox. He looks over the gathered beings and nods once. "Well," he rasps, "If we are all here, I guess I can brief you." He looks around the abandoned quay and ckears his throat, though it does little for his perpetual rasp. "I imagine that some of you remember the but of Specialized Equipment that we used in infiltrating the Brotherhood of the Frozen Antler?" he half asks, speaking his capital letters quite eloquently, "It seems that bit of equipment never made it back to its vault." The scarred tomcat nods at a nearby warehouse on the waterfront. "Technologists," he snorts, as if that explained everything, "I've managed to track them to that warehouse there. But I'm going to need some help getting in and getting out with the device and anything else the madmen have managed to squirrel away. Plus I will need some able bodies to cover me while I make sure the device is still whole and functional." The feline looks pretty sour about this whole thing.

Cassidy squints at Thelergramor from behind her mask, opting not to reply at all before shuffling over to hug Angus. "Angus! I am happy to see you. I've missed you, you know. You missed us! Our bonding, that is! If only you'd been here a day earlier," she says with a frown, though it goes unseen before she scoots back over to Natska's side. "And yes, I remember it rather well. And technologists, huh? I remember hearing that name before... I believe they were someone I wanted to kill, though, because they did... Something. Playing with machines and forcing people to use them or something? Sure, I will gladly help and take the chance to spill some of their blood, if that is the case."

Natska listens to Amos' explanation, then raises her eyebrows at Cassidy. She doesn't comment on the eagerness for battle, but she does let her hand rest on her rapier's hilt before she gives Angus a slight nod. "Very well, then."

Angus freezes when Amos states that it was the Technologists, but as soon as Cassidy hugs him he visibly relaxes. "....What exactly did they manage to steal." He asks curiously as he squeezes Cassidy a bit. "Sorry Cass, I've been a little preoccupied recently with everything that has gone on."

Rokarion looks at the group then back at Amos, "The technologists? I have never heard of them, but from the reaction I am not assuming that they are a group that wants to bring Creator technology back to beings. So what are they?"

Thelergramor shrugs and pulls on his hood. Didn't expect an answer, thus letting his imagination run with it. Even better. "Alright, so go in, butcher some thieves, take back the thing and leave? Easy enough. Anything specific with how we deal with 'em? Nonlethal or any of that? Been far too long since I've killed anyone. That... might be a good thing." Shrugging, he adds: "It's a fleshcrafter, Angus. Only temporary, from what I know." Shrugs at Rokarion. "I've never heard of 'em either."

"The Technologists are a group who believe that all technology should be available to everyone," Amos rasps, "specifically themselves. For whatever they want. I couldn't care less what you do with them. Though my superiors would prefer prisoners." The tomcat starts walking toward the warehouse. "If we get going, we should be able to surprise them before their night time reinforcements arrive," he says.

Cassidy folds her arms and hums. "Well. I agree that technology should be available. Now, using it for whatever they want? That probably involves bad things, so no go on that one. I'll try to take prisoners. Unless they look at me funny or offend me. Then I might not. WelL! I would be happy to go, yes. Or wait til the night time reinforcements to come so there is more sport."

Natska snorts. She puts a hand on her wife's shoulder and gives the fennec a small squeeze. "Job, love. Let's get in there, critically wound a few, and capture whoever doesn't bleed to death while we get the stolen property." Natska smiles, quickly and quietly falling in line behind Amos.

Angus frowns a little as it's revealed to be a fleshcrafter. "We should be careful how we approach the situation. Last time they had a bolt hole set up and ready in case of an attack, they might have one here to." He states, tail flicking softly in irritation as he reaches for the hilt of one of his blades.

Rokarion nods, "Well I see that my guess was correct, and just like most secretive groups they are doing it for themselves but they feed honeyed words to trick others. Very well, take them prisoners. I can do that barring anyone trying to go for the kill. Let us start then?" the plant being answers politely, sweet jasmine scent wafting around him.

Thelergramor scratches his basiliskian face, nods at Amos. "Alright, I'll see if I can bring you -a- prisoner." Yup. One. "Eh, technology..." The wolfilisk sighs, shakes his head, leans on his spear. "So, onward, yes?"

Amos leads the way until the group stands at a side door to the warehouse. "If we can get the box out here, along with whatever else we find, I have a golem and a cart waiting," he rasps, "This door is locked, but there are no patrols on this side of the building. I think there is only one guard inside." He waves a hand at the door. "After you," he says, "I'm not much use for combat just now, I fear."

Cassidy hums softly before flicking her wrist, a pair of picking tools slipping into her hand. "I can probably manage this, if there are no other takers? Unless you happen to have a key, Amos?" She asks before leaning forward to try to get through the lock.

Natska slips her heavy short-blade into her hand as she takes a spot near the door, at Cassidy's side. She gives Cass a small shake of her head - she'd rather have the fennec handle the door - and as she waits she runs through a few of her math equations, slipping into a light trance and speeding up her reflexes.

Angus slips a slender short sword from it's sheath as he leans over his cousin to see what kind of lock it is, before he takes a step back and scans the area. "Lets hope they weren't expecting anything." He murmurs as he takes a deep breath and readies himself.

Rokarion follows the group and waits for Cassidy to open the locks. As he waits, Rokarion begins his own casting, reciting the formulas on sheet he has under his heavy cloak to cover himself in a protective layer.

Thelergramor peers at the building. "Alright, no patrols on this side. Want me to look for patrols on the other side? Don't need them getting away once the shit hits the fan. Plus, locked door. Eh, Cass has it." Plotting... the basilisk has several ideas... He waits for Cassidy to get the door open. Leans against his spear, yawns quietly.

Amos shakes his head silently, hands still jammed in his pockets as he watches Cassidy work. But after a moment, the point becomes moot anyway as the lock opens with a click. "They should not be on much of a lookout," he rasps quietly, "not after the amount of frangula I slipped into the food they had brought in earlier." The tomcat gives a malicious grin, exposing one oversized fang for which he is named." He shakes his head at Thelergramor. "I am more interested in retrieving what they have stolen than preventing a few from escaping," he says.

Cassidy tucks the picking tools away before perking her ears. "Just one guard inside, then? Let's try to take him out silently, hm? I have just the spell in mind, unless someone else gets him first." She moves to nudge the door open and make her way inside, her footfalls devoid of sound as usual.

Natska draws her rapier, then slips into the building behind Cassidy, ears perked and on alert. She moves quietly, half crouched and ready to pounce as the hunt begins.

Angus reaches for the pistol at his hip before he rethinks it, palming his dagger in his right hand ready to be thrown as he crouches low and follows them both in silently.

Rokarion looking as how the group are trying to use stealth, Rokarion does also crouch and follows silently behind the group, hoping that he is good enough at this.

Thelergramor follows in after the others, all crouched low and quiet. Spear held in one hand, wristblades kept close to his body to prevent them from bumping anything... His tail drags a bit on the ground, though, which may be an issue. Can't crouch low enough!

The door swings open silently, revealing a small room and a rather uncomfortable looking badger guard pacing back and forth near the far door. "Damn," he mutters, not looking up, "When will those replacements be here?"

As everyone sneaks into the room, Rokarion manages to stumble, slamming the door up against the inside wall with a BANG! The badger's eyes snap to the door! He goes to spring into action, to attack or run, but suddenly doubles over clutching his belly as it rumbles and roils loudly. "Oh gods!" he moans.

"That would be the frangula at work," Amos rasps, a twinkle in his eye, "Someone had better do something before he raises an alarm, though."

Cassidy is, certainly, quick to do something. You can't raise an alarm if you have no air in your lungs, after all! It worked before to stop a cry, maybe it'll work this time. Raising her gloved hand, she performs a quick bit of math to try to pull the air from the badger's lungs. Regardless of if it takes him down or not, it should keep him quiet.

And if Cass' spell doesn't disable the guard, Natska's quick blow might; the jaguar lunges forward and lines up a quick jab for the guard's jaw, using the hand guard of her sword rather than the point - in the interest of taking a prisoner, of course.

Angus looks over to the guard, turning the dagger around in his hand to throw before he notices Cass and Natska already after him which prompts him to disengage and move off to the side before walking forward, trying to stay out of the line of fire to get closer to the target.

Rokarion quickly got their footing after their blunder, the young plant being looking around and hoping everything went fine. Rokarion's face flushed with a hint of red color at his embarrassing mistake and right on that time the inner blossom of his hair began blooming, the petals expanding half way through and further enhancing the beautiful aroma

Thelergramor doesn't complain at the noise Rokarion made, it's not an issue. Instead, he charges the badger who may or may not be completely out of breath at this point... And, as Natska did, prisoner attempt number 1. Via the butt end of his spear directed towards... well, Natska's hand is in the way of the jaw, so... the dirty bits. Manbags. Groin. That place.

Thel's a dick sometimes.

There is no resistance as the poor badger is attacked on all fronts! The air gasps from his lungs as he is clocked in the jaw and rocked by Thelergramor's attack. Strangely, a look of relief crosses the KOed beings face as he falls to the floor and a rather unpleasant aroma fills the air. Amos nods and walks to the far door, opening it carefully to peer out. "Coast looks clear," he rasps, letting the others lead. And it is. The corridor extends a little way further in the building, then opens into a large storeroom. There do not seem to be any other guards in sight, though there are several other doors leading out. Presumably to other guard posts.

Cassidy starts forward down the corridor, eager to be away from the source of that smell as she dips a hand into her coat, fingers seeking out the little black satin bag that contains her sleeping powder. "Well. Let's try to keep things more quiet than the entrance, at least," she says as she moves forward.

Natska nods. "Nicely done," she compliments Cass and Thel, as she follows Cassidy down the hallway. "I almost feel bad for whichever spyguard carts that one away. Almost."

Angus makes a face at the smell. "Guess that's one way to catch them by surprise." He mutters as he waves a hand in front of his nose before he heads down the corridor himself. "If it's like this with everyone we meet I'd gladly let them all run." He mutters as he sheaths his short sword and switches his dagger to his left hand.

Rokarion lets out a sigh of relief, as it seems that no one decided to comment on what happened. Rokarion then shakes his head and focuses back on the task at hand, moving with the group towards the corridor. On the bright side his enhanced aroma meant that he at least did not have to deal with the badger's stench.

Thelergramor now smells an aroma; a bad one mixing with a good one. Glances at the plant being... then down at the unconscious badger. "He shit himself." Then nods at Natska, smiling at the compliment, before using his miltia provided manacles to restrain the badger.

He then crouches and follows the others down the corridor, watching specifically for traps and trying to move quietly.

Amos follows along behind the group and nods in approval. "Good," he mutters, "This is the place and there is our prize!" The tomcat walks over to a large black box open on one side, but covered with a curtain. It will be familiar to many present as a fleshcrafter. Right now it is silent and dark. Amos steps up to the machine and waves a hand over a panel on the side. He frowns when nothing happens, opens a hatch in the panel, pours in a bit of sparkling lunar dust, then tries again. "Damn," he swears when it remains dark. "Wolf!" he rasps, "Get over here! The rest of you keep watch."

Cassidy raises her brow as she leans forward, examining the machine. "Thanks, Natska. Worked for me before, so I figured I'd try it again." When Amos calls for Thel, she raises her other brow. "What? You really need to test it or something?"

Natska quietly scowls at Amos, but remains silent as she moves into guard position. She keeps an eye on the doorway and lurks in wait, tail slowly swishing back and forth.

Angus turns his gaze to Amos, making no comment as he turns around and focuses more on their surrounds then what is happening with the machine. "Lets get that thing working quick eh?" He comments as he reaches for a pistol at his hip.

Rokarion looks at the fleshcrafter, this is the first time that Rokarion has set his eyes upon one so the young plant being did take himself an eyeful. But with Amos's orders, Rokarion took up position to guard while he waited for Amos to do his job, sure Roka had his own priestly training when it comes to that but Amos most likely won't let him touch it.

Thelergramor blinks a bit. Being the only wolf, basilisk... uh... wolfilisk... Thelergramor heads over to Amos. "Aye, what'd'ya need? Problem with the fleshcrafter?" Peers at it, full of distrust in his visage. "You want me to use it, don't you... Angus! If this makes me a woman, you have first dibs." He smirks, shrugs at Angus, "I'm joking. Probably." Then looks back at Amos.

"Creators no!" Amos hisses at Thelergramor, "I just want you to watch that panel and tell me when it lights up!" He points at the panel of darkened buttons. The tomcat ducks under the curtain and there is a sound of grumbling from within.

After a few moments there is a sound of conversation. "I don't see what you are whining about!" comes a muffled voice from one of the doors, "You all ate that weird foreign food and that is what you get!" It seems to be coming this way.

Cassidy perks her ears at the sound of the voice and quickly withdraws the bag from her coat. Her free hand lifts a finger to her lips, as if asking for quiet, before she stalks towards the door. She positions herself just on the other side of it, waiting to greet whoever walks in with a face full of sleeping powder.

Natska gives Cassidy a quick nod, moving to the other side of the doorway and then waiting, holding herself ready in case Cass needs the backup.

Angus ears perk up as he hears voices, giving Cassidy a soft nod as he lifts his pistol and points it directly at the door where the voices are coming from. He takes a deep breath, focusing on the door as he cocks the hammer back slowly to try and cut down on the sound of the click.

Rokarion looks around and sees that there is nothing to do, noticing how Amos was behind the curtain, Rokarion was once again tempted to draw the fleshcrafter! But manages to control himself and goes back to idly watching for trouble.

Thelergramor nods, peers over at Cassidy, tosses over another bag of sleeping powder... His, though, happens to contain some broken glass and is quite poisonous... Devious wolfilisk. "I'll watch it, yeah..." He says quietly, shifting his grip on the spear to hold it like a javelin. Can make out the symbols of different animals and such, plus creator script and some... slides marked height and weight...

The voice draws near to the door and another moaning voice accompanies it. The door opens, revealing a pair of guards, one a smallish ursine who is teasing the larger pangolin. They both look up in surprise at the group! At the same time, the little panel on the machine lights up, though Amos stays in the machine, still grumbling.

Cassidy winks as the door opens and creates a little gust of wind to carrying the sleeping powder from her hand into their faces. She doesn't use Thel's, though, preferring to use her own. "Shhh. Just take a nap and it'll all be over soon."

Natska tenses, ready to strike. However, the jaguar stays her blade as Cassidy blows her powder at the two guards. "Surrender silently," she hisses at them, still crouched and at the ready should action be called for.

Angus shrugs his shoulders a bit as he keeps his aim on them. "Think it would be a better idea then the alternative, would let you live longer." He mutters with his finger on the trigger.

Rokarion squints at the guards then back at the light up panel. Seeing as how the guards are being dealt, Rokarion moves towards the panel before saying, loud enough for Amos to hear, "Mister Amos. The panel has light up, you better get out of there. I think that the machine might be working, Rokarion said as he looked at the panel, whether it was true or not he did not know but better safe than sorry.

Thelergramor glances over at CnN. "What they said. You don't give up, we'll kill you. It's not much of a waste. We already got one of your friends." All of that was assuming they didn't get knocked out immediately upon entering.

He returns to watching the panel. "Panel's lit up, yeah. How would you feel about being a woman, Amos? Or a wolf or something?" He chuckles, joking.

The two guards start to try to raise an alarm, but as they breathe in to shout, they each take a deep breath of Cassidy's expertly guided sleeping powder and their eyes roll back in their heads as they slump to the ground. Crisis averted.

Amos flicks the curtain aside to come look at the panel, but as he exits, the lit buttons and screen go black again. The tomcat sighs and ducks back inside, fiddling with something else before it lights again. "Hold on a bit longer," he says, "I think I almost have it." It seems that there is one other hallway, if the others ca to try something a bit more proactive.
