Angus didn't move from his spot, other then stepping away from the door to allow Cedric entrance into the room, but he was tempted as soon as the Ferret started to lie to them. "People who go for a stroll don't shout that their lord is a dragon, now do they?" Standing up he clasped his hands behind his back and smirked at the Ferret. "Must be hard, being so far away from home." He commented, noticing Ashton's accent. "Have any family Ashton?"<br> <br>"Seems like a fun party so far." Cedric says dryly as he casts a glance around the room. He listens to the others conduct their interrogation, keeping to himself for the moment until he's sure of what's going on. He raises an eyebrow at the ferret and shakes his head. "Necessary? Probably not..." he admits, finding it a little strange to have so many people question a single being, himself. He rolls up his sleeves and eyes the detainee with a serious look, "Just answer the questions and you won't need to concern yourself with my profession." the badger adds, very casually but highlighting his own Cliffside accent very noticably.<br> <br>Angel gives a sharp look to Ashton who nods and looks back "I was.. frightened and.. hurt, I didn't know what to do, so I.. I thought to defend myself." however when Angus remarks to him his eyes dart around, "I.. I said that? Was.. this before or.. or after I was clocked over the head?" he asks. Then comes the question about home and family. He looks to Angel again, how is now looking firmly at the wall once more, "I.. I have an older sister. Ma and pa are long gone, they were very old when they were blessed with me." he says. Then he looks to Cedric with a bit of shock, "But... why would." and he looks to Angel again, still looking at the wall he is.<br> <br>Ictus looks to the ferret and hmms, "Yes, you did say that before you were clocked." he ponders that and hmms, "So... Why did you set fire to the cabin? Or did you have an accomplice who got away?" he doubts the second though he looks curious at the looks that are given to Angel<br> <br>Angus nods lightly as he glances at both Ictus and Cedric, quirking his eyebrow. "Ah I see, I do not mean to pry but. Where is your sister now?" At the moment he was just fishing for details, his hands near the blade in his belt as he took a step closer to Ashton. "You did look hurt, frigtened is another matter." He frowned as he looked down at the Ferret. "A soldier is trained to ignore pain, and I'm betting the pike and shield were military grade as well. Weren't they." Through out this he was still scanning emotions, but the Ferret wasn't the target. Angel was.<br> <br>Cedric stands against the wall near the door, nodding quietly and listening to the proceedings. He watches the Ferret closely, studying his reactions to the questions as he answers them, but he's no kitsune so he probably doesn't notice anything that the others wouldn't have picked up already. He starts to grow just a little bit restless and holds out his hand in front, stretching his fingers while his lips start to move quietly whispering some basic math. A large, adequately shaped ball of flames with wisps of smoke surrounding it sparks up just above his palm briefly, spinning and glowing brightly, before he circles his palm around it, causing it to orbit his hand for a little while. After he tires of the meaningless display, he snuffs it out with sheer will, sighing slightly. Nothing but light trails of smoke is left behind, drifting to the ceiling.<br> <br>A knock at the door frame gets Angel's attention as John comes back with water and more chairs, "Sorry for the delay my lord, but, a messanger came for you. I told him you were busy and he just gave me the message. He says, there is no change in Lady Mirana's condition, she is still out cold and struggling to breathe. Doctor Jeremey is baffled by it. The priest has called upon Journeyman and Scholars alike to help him, but Jeremey is no closer to understanding what is wrong with her." he turns and is about to walk away when he stops, "I was... reluctant to tell you this Sir Ictus, but she cries out your name from time to time..." then he departs, leaving everyone to their work. Angel simply looks back to the wall again, while Ashton now lets show exactly how fearful he is. "What... what did that bear.. say? A.. a Mirana?" he asks, then gets to answering the questions again, "I.. I don't.. umm.. know anything..a.. about the fire.. I... I" he looks to Angel and gulps loudly, "And... I.. I found the weapons and armor... I.. I don't.. know where they came from.." he says, sweeting bullets at this point.<br> <br>Ictus hmms at the ferret and nods at Angus' question of the sister, "Yes where is your sister?" then the guard returns and he nods at the first part at the second part... He stiffens noticably and turns his eyes to the ferret as he gives a murderious glare, "I..." he takes a few deep breaths and shakes his head, "I need some air..." he looks to Angus and shakes his head, "I'll... I will be back soon." as he goes to take a walk, his tails lashing furiously<br> <br>"Thank you, but I do not believe that we will need the waters. " Angus replied as the guard walked in, frowning lightly as he hears the news. His patience was wearing thin as Ashton started to sweat, and he turned to Angel as one of his ears flicked. "Is something about that wall troubling you Angel?" He hinted, not turning his back on Ashton as he faced Angel.<br> <br>Cedric bows his head slightly towards the messenger in quiet greeting as he enters, and listens intently to his message, with a rather worried expression crossing his face. The badger nods to Icus. "Alright. Take as much time as you need." he says in understanding. He reaches up to smooth his hair forward as he returns his gaze to Ashton, watching him stew in his own nervous sweat as he answers the questions. "Hmm..." he emits a quiet, thoughtful sound, "Then... where exactly did you find the weapons?" Cedric asks, keeping his hands clasped together behind his back. "Where did you just happen to find equipment like that lying around for the taking?"<br> <br>Rixo steps up to the door and frowns a little before raising one of her hands to  knock. "Hello? Is this the room?" She glances over her shoulder, taking in the rest of the area.<br> <br>Angel looks to Ictus as he heads out a minute, and then to Angus. He blinks a few times and stands up, "No, the wall isn't bothering me, but this has nothing to do with Shanty Town nor with the Blackbacks!!" he says, sounding very annoyed. He turns to Ashton, "Answer these foolish questions about that fire in the forest quickly so I can get on with mine!" He says flashing his teeth and holding his twin daggers. "I don't give two shits about his being's family, weapons, or name, just what he knows about Shanty Town and the attacks there!" He says Ashton looks so frightened he may pass out, at least until Angel's line of questions starts, then he seems to find some more of his spine, "My sister is.. safe in Cliffside, she is in, trying to become a scholar, and, I.. I don't know anything about a Shanty town, nor, any.. any attacks there." he says, looking at the water, "And.. the ... the weapons, I just found out in a .. a field." He says. At Rixo's entrance Angel tenses slightly, but then rolls his eyes, "More? Five.. five for one being.. if the Blackbacks weren't paying me..." he says.

The windows are barred, and the door has a heavy bolt on it, locked in place by a large plank of wood. A very plan looking wolf walks up to them, and presents papers, "Angel Longsnout, I'm here by special request to assist in questioning this suspect." he says. Looking over the papers, they seem in order, "Please wait here sir, others will be joining you shortly." The bear standing to the left of the door says.

Having been resting in his room this entire time from his injuries sustained from the cabin fire, Ictus is finally able to interrogate the prisoner. He walks over to the guards and nods, "Has he said anything yet?" he looks to the wolf curiously and hmms, "An interrogation specialist?" he questions

Rest was a good idea at this point, as his ribs still hadn't fully healed just yet. But of course Angus wouldn't do the sensible thing, and instead came to help with the interrogation. "Has anyone else talked to him yet?" The wolf recieved a curious glance before he turned back to the guard.

The guard stands at attention and salutes Angus and Ictus before continuing, "No sirs, no one has talked to him besides to answer for his rights. Would you two care to begin sirs?" he asks. Angel looks over to Ictus and Angus and smiles, "You could say that, though I'm sure a pair of Kitsune hardly need any help." he says, looking about. "Nice little place you all have here though..." he checks out his own daggers, then slides them back into this belt sheaths.

Ictus nods to Angus and then hmms at the guards, "Alright... I assume he has a name?" he looks at the wolf and nods, "True, but a little help never hurts..." he blinks at that last and hmms, "I'll ask you to observe, at least for now." he looks to the daggers and chuckles, "I don't think those'll be nesscery." he shrugs though

Angus glances down at those daggers. "Three voices are better then one. Especially questioning someone. Now, mister Longsnout was it? Who was it that requested you to be here?" He inquired, turning to face the wolf fully as he smiled. He didn't check, but he could feel the handle of his dagger digging into his back, the blade attached to his belt near his rump.

Angel nods to Ictus and then, to Angus, "I was requested to be here by the Blackbacks, under some suspictions that this person was also involved with the attacks on Shanty Town a few moons back." he says very eliquently. "And of course my lord, as you request." he says about only observing for now. Johnathan, the bear, removes the plank holding the door shut. "No one has talked to him sir, even to find out his name, and he says nothing other then to ask for food and water." Johnathan says as he opens the door for Angus and the rest.

Ictus nods to Angus and hmms at Angel, "I see. Well, we'll see about that." he nods in acceptence at the next and chuckles at Johnathan, "Well, that's unfortunate..." his gaze sharpens a bit as the plank is removed, "I'm sure he'll talk." before he steps into the room after the door opens. He looks to the ferret and ponders a bit, but stays silent as he waits for Angus and Angel to come in

"Oh, so this is the one that tried to frame the blackbacks?" Angus still had his suspicions about this wolf, but for now he quieted them as the door opened. "Oh, I believe that we could easily pursuade him to chat Ictus." He smirked at his cousin before he turned to the other guard. "Do you mind fetching some water, enough for the prisoner and us? And I wouldn't mind a chair if you could find one." He smiled at the guard, and didn't wait for an answer as he walked into the room and looked around at its interior.

Angel walks in after Ictus does and takes a seat on the very uncomfortable bed. Just there to watch. He slides his daggers in and out of the holders a few times, and the Ferret gulps audibly, then stares at the two foxes. John salutes and goes to get the water.

Ictus looks at Angus and chuckles at the comment before his eyes lock onto the ferret, "So, lets start with something simple shall we?" he smiles a bit, though it is cold, as he continues, "What is your name?" he does look genuinely curious though

Angus looks around the room before his eyes fall on the Ferret." Hello again, how is your head?" He was actually concerened, or at least acted like it considering he gave him a concussion. "I'm rather sorry about that, but you did leave me no choice." He gave Angel a glare, already working through reading their emotions, both Angel and the Ferret.

Angel sits back and waits, yawning a bit, but just watches. He takes out a dagger and wholds the tip against his finger while examining it. The ferret looks up to Angus and Ictus and mumbles, "Ashton.." he says, "And my head is just fine." he glances around again though, and he's eyes fall on Angel, who continues to stare at his own dagger.

Ictus hmms at the ferret and nods, "Ashton, alright. Nice name." he nods at that and smiles, "Good, wouldn't want you be hurt now would we." he still has burns from the fire as he looks at Angel he hmms and shakes his head, "Put that away would you? Wouldn't want our guest to be uncomfortable now would we?" he looks to Ashton again, "So, what brought you to the cabin that night?" he questions as he starts reading the ferret

Angus nods. "Well it is nice to meet you Ashton. And I must admit that you did have me at a disadvantage when we fought, as I am still suffering from broken ribs." He leaned back against the door, taking note of his reaction to Angels dagger and Ictus comment. "Your a rather skilled fighter really, and I'm curious as to who trained you. Where you military, if I may be so bold as to ask?" Angus smiled, trying to be polite to try and calm the Ferret a little as he kept tabs on their emotions and Angels still.

Cedric had been approached by a messenger at the guild asking him to show up at the guild if he could spare some time. The badger had nothing on his schedule, so he made some simple preparations in his room before having the messenger lead him to the Solacious Manor. He was led inside to the room used for the interrogation and allowed inside without much hassle, stepping inside with his mathemagical robes billowing slightly behind him. He nods to the Solacious foxes politely, "Good evening." he greets the two, "A messenger asked me if I would drop by, is everything alright?" he asks with a curious raise of his eyebrow before looking towards the others in the room. "Hello, nice to meet you... I think." he greets the wolf and ferret, having not met the others yet. The messenger wasn't very specific with the reason for the invitation. "I'm Cedric, freelance mathemagician. How's it going?"

Angel looks to Ictus and puts the dagger away, contenting himself to stare at a wall for now, "Just let me know if you change your minds about just... 'watching'." he says, seeming utterly bored. Ashton looks to Angel, then back to both of the foxes, "I was just out for a stroll, when that.. husky dragon girl shot at me." he says. Looking up again when Cedric enters. "Mathemagician..." he says, and Angel shoots a look to Cedric, "Is this really nessicary? I mean, four beings to question just this one?" he asks. Ashton looks to the floor as he answers Angus, "No, no time, in the military, just some learning while I was back home." he says.

Ictus hmms? at Angel and nods, "We will." he fixes his gaze to the ferret and nods, "A stroll huh... Why did you run and attack Angus then?" he looks curious, "I know Wulf shot you, but all you had to do was surrender." Before he nods to Cedric without looking, "Perhaps not nessecery... Probably not..." he admits, finding it a little strange to have so many people question a single being, himself. He rolls up his sleeves and eyes the detainee with a serious look, "Just answer the questions and you won't need to concern yourself with my profession." the badger adds, very casually but highlighting his own Cliffside accent very noticably.

Angel gives a sharp look to Ashton who nods and looks back "I was.. frightened and.. hurt, I didn't know what to do, so I.. Then he looks to Cedric with a bit of shock, "But... why would." and he looks to Angel again, still looking at the wall he is.

Ictus looks to the ferret and hmms, "Yes, you did say that before you were clocked." he ponders that and hmms, "So... Why did you set fire to the cabin? Or did you have an accomplice who got away?" he doubts the second though he looks curious at the looks that are given to Angel

Angus nods lightly as he glances at both Ictus and Cedric, quirking his eyebrow. Angel was.

Cedric stands against the wall near the door, nodding quietly and listening to the proceedings. Nothing but light trails of smoke is left behind, drifting to the ceiling.

A knock at the door frame gets Angel's attention as John comes back with water and more chairs, "Sorry for the delay my lord, but, a messanger came for you. I.. I don't.. know where they came from.." he says, sweeting bullets at this point.

Ictus hmms at the ferret and nods at Angus' question of the sister, "Yes where is your sister?" then the guard returns and he nods at the first part at the second part... He stiffens noticably and turns his eyes to the ferret as he gives a murderious glare, "I..." he takes a few deep breaths and shakes his head, "I need some air..." he looks to Angus and shakes his head, "I'll... I will be back soon." as he goes to take a walk, his tails lashing furiously

"Thank you, but I do not believe that we will need the waters. " Angus replied as the guard walked in, frowning lightly as he hears the news. His patience was wearing thin as Ashton started to sweat, and he turned to Angel as one of his ears flicked. "Is something about that wall troubling you Angel?" He hinted, not turning his back on Ashton as he faced Angel.

Cedric bows his head slightly towards the messenger in quiet greeting as he enters, and listens intently to his message, with a rather worried expression crossing his face. "Where did you just happen to find equipment like that lying around for the taking?"

Rixo steps up to the door and frowns a little before raising one of her hands to knock. "Hello? Is this the room?" She glances over her shoulder, taking in the rest of the area.

Angel looks to Ictus as he heads out a minute, and then to Angus.
