The paths up to the area the unit specified in their request for aid isn't too difficult to traverse, mainly leading individuals through a heavily tree filled area via worn down foot paths, before reaching a large series of trees that had been cut down to form a large barricade before a open field. The field beyond is rather short, at maybe a mile and a half in length before coming up to a make shift encampment surrounded by a wooden walls with spikes sticking out from then. Thankfully, the night and foilage of the approach is keeping everyone hidden from any guards along the walls at the moment.

Close to where the foot paths all merge near the only break in the make shift barricade, is a German Shepherd with a Captains insignia upon his tabard, and Kalt with her heavy armor and light bringers emblem on her shoulder. Both pressed against the barricade while awaiting the groups arrival.

After the last 'incident' in the pass, there's little way Selena would even consider missing a second call out. Approaching the shepherd and fox, she offers a half-wave, not raising her hand too high to avoid attention or being noticed by anything else that may be in the pass.

"Kalt, I'm not surprised to see you here. Did you or Angus manage to turn up anything about that odd emblem you found the last time?" she asks curiously.

It was kind of hard to tell just when Cassidy arrived on the scene, but it was probably rather recently. Maybe she didn't even know, herself! Stepping from the tree line and very nearly the night itself, the masked fennec slinks up towards the group, coming to a sudden halt. Unlike Kalt, her own Lightbringer emblem was not on display. "Good evening, good evening. This is the right side of the field, yes?"

Garma rolls along the path with his trusty cannon, following those who would take the path before him as he keeps an eye on his surroundings. No need for an ambush or some sly business to go down on the way is there? As he approaches the destination he spots a few recognizable faces, taking note of who exactly he would be grouped with and trying to decide who to stick around. "Hey, you wanted some assistance right?" he says, not at all showing shame as he flexes for those present.

Angus Walks up quickly, ignoring that his leg was still aching a little bit from the bolt he took a few days ago. But there was no way he was going to miss this, not after he had been here for the last attack. The fox already had his musket out, bayonet afixed on the barrel as he steps up to the group and grins. "A nice evening for a raid is it not?" He asks, as his eyes dart over their surroundings in case of ambush.

An arrow sinks into the dark earth as a kit fox seemingly floats from the treeline, his cloak billowing behind him revealing the air that's stopping gravity from affecting him adversely. His shoulder seems well enough, a wing still jutting out of his back, kept there to avoid injury while his wound heals. "I've got a score to settle." He growls.

Kalt shrugs gently to Selena as she smirks. "Nope, ain't rightfully heard nuttin' bout'em till the fella's here went callin' for aid an' all." The Vixen giving a nod to the others and a slight chuckle at Garma's flexing, before giving a nod to Angus as the Vixen pulled herself from the side of the Barricade and picked up her spear.

The German shepherd looks over those present for a moment with a slight huff before giving a slow nod of his head. "You'll all work I suppose. Relax as well, they can't see us behind their own barricades. Though I will say the idea to funnel anyone through one entrance is a clever idea of their own... Anyways, I'm Captain Heron Payne of his Majesties forces. My unit is tasked with wiping this threat off the map, and a little extra help doesn't hurt, as my main force is currently dealing with their scouting camp." The Captain pushing himself forward, before peeking around the entrance and down at the walled encampment. "Thick walls made from the trees around here, but we've a plan to get through that. Two of my more stealthy boys are going out to set up some barrels along those walls, and on my signal they'll blow a nice big hole for you all."

His body turning back to the group slowly as he smiles. "I won't lie, this will be dangerous. But, we're offering a high pay, and any treasure you loot from the encampment is your own, save for anything with military inscriptions upon it. Now, any questions?"

Selena tsks quietly. "Well, that's a shame. It would've been helpful." She notes - another of her half-waves offered to the other familiar beings present. "Angus, it's good to see you've recovered proper. And Jera, are you feeling any better?"

That said she turns back to the Shepherd. "I heard that, Heron. Anyway - what I want to know is what we're expecting to find here." She asks - perhaps a little bluntly. "Either way, if I was expecting this to be easy I'd be out of my mind."

Cassidy gives a polite nod to Angus. He would likely recognize her, if no one else did. "Yes, I cannot imagine it will be either easy. Hopefully I won't die!" Her statement is punctuate with a quiet, hollow chuckle. "Anything we need to know in advance before heading in there? What kind of numbers we're expecting, or anything?"

Garma listens for a moment and looks to his cannon, then laughs. "Why I'm sure we could have put a hole in it with a good old mage and my cannon. So we're making multiple entrances, and going in. Wipe them out, then, take the reward?" he asks with a half smile. "Alright, if that's the job then let's go." he adds finally as he starts polishing his cannon.

Angus blinks, turning to Heron. "Wait, you're saying they have military equipment? What did they get?" He asks as he gives his cousin a nod, flashing the others a smile before he taps his chin, thinking on the plan as he eyes Garma's cannon, an idea coming to mind. "You bring any special shells with you today Garma?"

"Yeah. That's serious." Jera lands softly, into a kneeling position. He looks at Angus for a while. "Kind of Angus' new appointment to make sure all the military equipment is kept in check. The kit fox nods to Selena. "Yeah, it is. But I don't think I have it in me to take a dedication form right now."
