Terry suddenly finds a fat, beringed hand dropped upon his shoulder. "Very good, little friend!" booms Olloch, the great Boar, "Enjoy yourself! Take all you like, then have some more! There is more than enough to go around." The grinning being passes the ocelot a tankard of something that smells sweet and delicious.

Kazel finds that most of the conversations are quite difficult to hear for some reason, and those she can easily eavesdrop on seem to be conducted in a strange tongue. "Infuriating, aren't they," comes a rumbling voice from an alcove, "I wish they would all just fight it out and be done." There, in a cloister just off the main hall is a hulking figure in black armor with a helm like a stylized dragon's head. He carries no food or drink, he only stands there, arms folded, to watch.

"No! No!" comes an amiable voice at Rokarion's elbow, "I was quite enjoying the sketches!" When the flower turns to look, he will find himself confronted with a very strange sight. Hovering at about shoulder height is what can only be described as a one eyed owl! "I quite enjoy seeing what we look like to mortal eyes," it says in a female voice. The round ball of feathers has its wings extended as if gliding in flight, but it only bobs gently on the air, hovering in place.

The feline that Bazalt approaches smirks at something her shadow has apparently said. "No, darling," she says, "I do not worry about that sort of thing at all. Honestly I think you should let it all loose and just let everything sort it all out!" She smiles as Bazalt approaches. "How can I help you, dear?" she asks.

Cassidy smiles at the air elemental before nodding at Natska. "Nothing, really! We just wanted to speak with you! Our conversation last time was... Very brief! And we were hoping to learn more about you. Something about you seems different from the others, but I can't quite place it! So I would be happy to hear more, if you'd be willing to indulge."

Natska gives Aria a respectful nod, then glances around the crowd before letting her attention settle on the conversation. "I hope your awakening has gone well."

Terry looks at the mug, giving it an experimental sniff. He looks up at the boar being that's clearly the host of this party, and smiles at him amicably. "Thank you, kind Sir. This is a.. a.. most exquisite party you have prepared for your guests." He speaks cautiously, as if reading from a script, unfamiliar with his own words. He takes a sip from the mug, then licks his chops and takes a big swig, finding its taste most pleasing indeed! He looks up at the porcine being. "You are hosting this on your own dime, sir? This is very generous!"

Kazel gives the armored spirit a soft smile and little bow, how uncharacteristically for the bat. She positions herself next to the spirit, so that both of them face into the same direction as she leans against the wall of the alcove. "They seem to be too fearful to act, so they talk. I have only seen rare exceptions to this rule, my Lord. Though a fight of this proportions would certainly be both entertaining as well as unique." She clears her throat. "May I ask, have they always been like this?"

Rokarion stops in his tracks as he ears the sound of the little feather ball. The plant being turns around, focusing his gaze on perhaps the strangest shape of a spirit he has seen until now, raising a brow, and reopening his sketchbook for the spirit's benefit, allowing her to browse it, "I must admit, I assumed that it was you spirits who decided on how to appear in front of mortals, or not us forming an image of you. Or is it a bit more complex that that?" the nonchalant youngling asks as he flips some of the pages, "I also have more sketches back home, but they depict some of the more 'popular' spirits, so to speak."

Bazalt Bows to her before similing "I.. Couldnt hel but notice you were talking to your shadow.....I..Got Curious." he gives her a smile taking a small bite of the food in his hand before he continues. "I Am Bazalt..." he pauses as if he was going to add something else but he says nothing and just smiles at her instead.

The deep quarry is beautiful and strange, populated by odd creatures and glowing crystals and fungi. Then there is the great stone door to the House of Night, hidden in its little ravine and surrounded by glowing blue Crystals. Today it stands wide open, as if awaiting guests.

In her usual attire, Cassidy makes her way towards the House of Night with Natska. "Wonder what's going to be happening this time," she ponders, reaching up to adjust her top hat with a gloved hand. "Should be interesting as ever, I suppose."

"It always is," Natska replies, nodding her head at Cass and adjusting her crimson and silver long coat. "Especially with invitations..."

Terry steps up after the rest of the group. The small ocelot seems rather uncertain about all this, but he stays behind the larger and more well equipped beings in this group. Clutched in his hand is a small piece of paper with a rather unusual invitation, addressing the feline by name of all things. "Uhm.. hello?" He tries, addressing the others.

Kazel peers at the invitation, which she had stuffed into her small black book, once more. The bat has been here too often to blindly trust an invitation to the House, so she is wearing her black and silver plate armor and carries several weapons. She did however not put on her helm.

The plant being known as Rokarion arrives at the quarry, the plant being clad in his usual heavy cloak as he inspects the heavy door before glancing his own compatriots, his steely gaze then falling down on his sketchbook as he readies himself for his next venture.

The door stands open, within, warm light, as if from many torches can be seen. "Come in!" booms a voice from within, "Come in! Everything is ready!" A vague mutter of muted conversation can be heard from somewhere beyond the door.

Cassidy gives a little nod towards Natska at that before starting towards the door. "Well, might as well go see what they want, then! Not doing anyon eany good by waiting out here, yeah?" She says as she goes, tail flicking behind her.

Natska nods at Cassidy, then tips her hat towards Terry and the others. "Hello," she greets, then heads through into the House, staying close to Cassidy.

Terry follows along obediently, the ocelot looking between the other beings and taking them in. He peers over at Kazel, eyeing the bat up and down and noting her weaponry. The small feline is feeling rather underequipped for this. He smiles at Natska. "Hello!" He says, somewhat shyly.

Kazel rolls her shoulders and follows the others. "Wonder what this is about. Would be the first time I got a written invitation from a spirit."

Rokarion looks around and follows after the group, giving a nod in greetings to the other beings that have assembled here, "I wonder which spirit would resort to such a method of invitation in the first place." the plant being says as nonchalantly as ever.

Bazalt pants as he stops and looks around a second. So.. the invite said here.. riight? HE frowns and takes a deep breath. "I Will regret this.. probally.."He heads to teh door, ears perked up and tail swaying behind him.

The scene beyond the door is breathtaking. The House of Night has manifested itself as a great banquet hall! Beings of all sizes and descriptions wander about, talking with one another and eating and drinking. Five long tables run the length of the hall with a great table set up on a raise dais.

"Welcome! Welcome!" bellows an immensely obese boar in fine clothes who meets the party just beyond the door, "So glad you could come! Find a seat! Eat your fill! Make new friends!"

Cassidy folds her arms, peering at the boar. "You, huh. You've been active quite a bit recently. What're you trying to game here?" She asks, ears flicking. "This is so very... Un-spirit like."

Natska gives Olloch a happy smile and inclines her head. "Good afternoon, and thank you for the invitations. What's the occasion?"

Terry gasps as his eyes fall on the scene before him, a feast of size and scale the small ocelot has never seen before. The pauper feline paces forward silently, his eyes coming to rest on a table full of delicious looking food. He needs no further encouragement, and quickly bolts towards it, helping himself with both hands to some of it.

Kazel raises an eyebrow. "You again, huh." The bat grimasses at a thought before looking over the room. "Whats the occasion?"

Rokarion enters the banquet hall, the plant being stopping for a couple of seconds to give the whole room a quick glance over before pursing his lips and looking at Cassidy, "Well he had only recently awoken. Must be desperate to try and rebuild his worshiper base." the plant being says as he gives the banquet another glance, "A pity, Zuri would have enjoyed a banquet."

Bazalt Walks in then Blinks and stares the the banquet "What in the..." He blinks and tilts his head. "Wow.. What an invitation.." He mumbles and steps forwards slowly, Clearly he wasnt expecting this-not one bit.

The boar nods and grins at the new arrivals. "Just a friendly get together is all," he says, "Sort of a family reunion. I thought that I should invite some witne- er, special guests to be a part of the festivities." He turns that pleasant grin on Rokarion. "Not I!" he says, "Believers flock to me! I'm just trying to get my little family to get together." He waves a fat hand ant all the other beings roaming about the hall. At second glance, there is even more disparity between the gathered beings than there would be at a normal Promise gathering. There are some who look like creators, some like beings, and many that appear to be neither. Glowing lights, floating fabric, vague elemental shapes and many others.

"Now that you are all here, I am sure the guests of honor will arrive soon," Olloch says, "Why don't you all mingle for a bit! The others here are all eager to meet you."

Cassidy glances around, brow furrowing as she scoots a little closer to Natska. "I see. Mingle... Yes, perhaps." She shoots a look at Natska, leaning up to whisper something to the jaguar.

"... ahhh," Natska replies, eyes widening as she gets a better look at the crowd. "Oh my. Well, I am thrilled to be here to witness this event." She smiles and offers Cassidy her arm, then nods at Rokarion, then Kazel. "Shall we mingle, Cass? I'd love to." She nods at Cassidy, agreeing with her wife, then sets off to find something light to sip on and interesting people to watch.

Terry helps himself to two handfuls of food, and starts looking around even as he's eating. He returns his attention to Olloch, but doesn't dash to go and talk to him, instead opting to listen in for now. He starts following Natska and Cassidy as they mill about, somewhat aimlessly.

Kazel walks past Olloch and through the rows of... creatures that are assembled here. The bat listens in to a few conservations, but never long enough to arouse suspicion, pretending to be interested in the food on the tables as she does so.

Rokarion rubs his chin and nods back at Natska before opting for opening his sketch book, might as well sketch some of the more exotic looking spirits around. The youthful being rubs his chin as he keeps looking around, wondering how spirits might have changed their appearances between the type of the ancients and now.

Bazalt Slowly heads towards the food, frowning as he walks "What am I doing here?" he frowns , EArs twitching trying to catch every damn noise. "I.. can only hope the food is nice I guess." He sighs ahnd heads towards it-avoiding any who might be headding his way.

There is a truly remarkable variety of strange and wonderful creatures roaming about. And the food really is incredible! There are all kinds of food, some that are familiar and some that are strange, but all are delicious. The Boar wanders away, eager to greet others, though no more people arrive through the door. A huge bear, not a near being, but an actual bear lumbers through the room, apparently deep in conversation with a young Creator woman in a read cloak and an austerely dressed feline being seems to be chatting with her own shadow. All of the strange beings gathered seem to be glancing occasionally to the head table, but so far it has remained empty.

Cassidy nods, following after the jaguar to claim her own drink. "Well, I guess there is -someone- we wanted to speak with, huh?" She gives a little nod and squeezes Natska's arm before trying to locate Aria.

Natska glances at the other Being she doesn't recognize, watching Bazalt for a moment as the group splits up. Then she looks around through the crowd again. "There is?" she asks. "Mmmm. I suppose there is."

Terry stays in the center of the group. The ocelot can't quite believe his luck. That invitation must have been meant for someone else. He spots a table full of candy and other sweetmeats and darts over, quickly stuffing one pocket with a handful of the stuff while looking about. His uncertainty has given way to a big, broad smile.

Kazel continues her slow walk through the masses of assembled spirits, looking about from time to time to search for the one she made her own pact with, but mostly focusing on any bits of talks she can pick up and make use of.

Rokarion finally held his pen in hand, deciding to stop sketching for now and look around. The plant being would idly look and walk around, deciding to let fate decide who shall approach him.

Bazalt GRabs a piece of food before blinking and spotting the feline talk to her shadow.. He slowly heads to ehr, ears facing her and tail flicking soflty behind him-how.. interesting..."Hello there "he says softly, waving with his free hand as he suddenly realizes he wasnt dressed for a situation such as this. oh bugger.

"Ahhhhh. . ." comes a sigh from behind Cassidy, "It isssssss easier to hear when you speak out names out loud." A gauzy apparition has appeared beside the Solacious couple. "Aaaaaaah am sssssorry for our last meeting," the wind blown spectre breathes, its voice somewhere between masculine and feminine, "What would you have of me?"

Natska gives Aria a respectful nod, then glances around the crowd before letting her attention settle on the conversation. "I hope your awakening has gone well."
