It is late afternoon and Mirana is sitting up in her bed, with her back on the head rest of her bed. "Really Jeremey, I'm fine, look, all healed up, no burned skin, my fur is even starting to grow back in properly." To which the kangaroo Jeremey responds, "No Lady Mirana, you are not fully healed yet! I can't believe how quickly you healed from such burns, but I'm not releasing you till I know you are completely well again." Mira growls a bit, "First, we are not at the High Court nor at my father's manor, so please, lose the title, second, I am fine!" Her door is open, as Jeremey had just recently arrived to check on his patient.
Angus clears his throat as he knocks on the door frame. "May I come in, or are visiting hours over?" He joked giving Jeremy a slight smile as he stepped into the room. "How's the patient today?"
Bite enters Mirana's bedroom in a hurry, snaking her way around Jeremy and moving to firmly kiss Mirana's cheek. "Sssweetie I'm so sorry... I am... are you going to be okay...?" she hisses, pushing the Kangaroom and Angus aside as though they didn't really matter. She smiles when she sees how much beter off the noble is, giggling and kissing her a few more times before hugging her aggressively. "I'm sorry..." she says once more.
Bite gasps and pulls back a bit, holding up a finger to Mirana. "I'll be right back I have something for you." she hisses and nods, heading back out the door towards another room in the inn. Sounds of loud searching can be heard, sounds like she might be a while.
Saibh knocks before entering the room wearing a long, dark colored dress, far different than she'd normallyb e caught in. She peeks around, murmurs, "Lots here" and stops short of the doorway, only making sure she stays out of the way.
Ictus hmms at Saibh as he gingerly walks into the room and then focuses on Mirana, "You're ok? Thank the creators..." he's still on the crispy side and has a lot of fur missing, though he is dressed as he normally is
Mirana is about to answer Angus and Ictus herself when she is assulted by Bite with affection, "Miss... Miss Bite! I'm..." she yips slightly, while the burns themselves have head, the new skin is still sensitive to the touch, "Please.. I'm ok.. now.. if you would kindly tell Priest Jeremey that I'm fine, and I can get to court." She says, but Jeremey just shakes his head, "You are not to get out of that bed, your skin is still too sensitive, you yip when you tried to walk, you are not done healing yet." Mira huffs a bit "And yes, her burns are all healed, but I want her to stay under observation for at least a few days." As Bite departs to get a gift of some kind Mira looks around, "Great... Angus, I guess it falls to you, or maybe you Ictus to argue in court for our house" She sighs a bit. She also waves Saibh in, "Hello there Miss Saibh, come in, the more the marrier! Without good friends visiting I might die from boredom instead." She jokes.
Angus smiles at his sister and shakes his head. "Don't worry, I'm make sure Ictus does most of the talking." Turning around he finally notices Saibh, and blinks in suprise not expecting the Marten to be wearing a dress. "Hello Saibh...I like the dress."
Saibh offers a bit of a smile to Mirana and says, "A little bit of alone time never hurt no one, but uh, I guess friends out and about would be much preferable" she actually looks briefly embarassed and murmurs, "Thanks" to Angus, nodding quickly before focusing back on the crispier sibling
Ictus blinks at Mirana and nods with a small smile, "Very well..." he chuckles at Angus and shakes his head, "I suppose..." he finally turns to Saibh and actually looks at her for more than a second, he smiles and nods in agreement with Angus, "Yes, it's a very nice dress." before he turns back to Mirana curiously
Mirana groans a bit and sighs, "Well. I've got a clean bill of health except for 'observation'. I remember very clearly Miss Bite having some.... problems, then.. well, igniting us, I reached into my pack to grab my medical kit, but the flames intecfied! I don't remember much after that besides screeming." She says and shivers a bit at the strong memories. "And, some time alone would be good, but too much and I would start to go a bit batty ." She says with a giggle. She nods to Ictus and Angus, "Thank you both." Jeremey tisks a few times, "Yes, not only for you do I want you under observation, but also for your two kits, need to make sure nothing is complicated by your injuries besides sensitive skin." Mira looks sharply over to the kangaroo priest, muzzle hanging open for a moment before she says, "S.. surely you are.. mistaken... I.. two kits? You.. mean kit, right?" Jeremey shakes his head, "No Lady, twins, you.. didn't know?" Mira has a look of shock, one hand slowly moving to her belly as she slowly looks downward.
Angus gives Saibh a nod as he smiles, his ears twitching as he hears Jeremey talk about his sisters two kits.....wait what? He swears he just heard the priest say that she had two kits. "My sister is...going to have twins...."
Saibh glances over and says, "Uh.. congratulations?" she's not really the sort to.. do this ever. She does offer a weak, but genuine smile while wondering if maybe she should leave the family be.
Ictus blinks at the revlation and chuckles at Angus' reaction, "Well, congratulations. Angus you're going to be an uncle to two." he smiles at Mira and nods, before he looks to Saibh curiously, "Are you ok?"
Mirana rubs her belly a moment, "Twins....." she utters still a bit in shock. Jermemy looks over the group of foxes and the Stone Matron, "Well.. she is alright, so I'll be going. I have other patients to look after, but I will be back to check on her. The Inn staff will be helping her take care of basic nessesities, like food and water, so no need to worry there. Seems Lord Solacious takes things very seriously when one of younger nobles is so badly injured." He takes a bow to Mirana, Angus, and Ictus, "By your leave Lady and Sirs." Then walks out of the room, a slight flush to his face. As she starts to recover a bit from the shock, "Angus.. twins... I'm.. I'm going to be a mother twice over! Won't.. won't Yuric be so happy!?" She seems estatic a moment before she notices Saibh, "Oh! Miss Saibh, thank you, thank you very much. Please, everyone take a seat." There are three beds in total in the room, as well has many chairs in the front part of the room, where there is also a desk and table, getting a chair from the front room would be a good option or sitting upon the beds. "Miss Saibh," she tries to refocus a bit "You were talking the other day about the happenings and some griffon?" She asks, still rubbing her belly softly, and cooing down to herself once in a while. "Ictus, Angus, have you seen much about the Wirefur Noble or the attacks on Shanty Town?"
Angus moves to grab a chair from the front room and sets it next to Mirana. "Haven't really heard much about the attacks in Shanty Town.....or anything about the Wirefur either." He had honestly hoped that Lord Eldric had managed to end up with a dagger in his back as he said nothing to his sister, giving her a smile as he silently held his anger in check. His tails wag lightly as he turns to Saibh and pats the empty bed beside him. "Please join us Saibh, we don't bite I promise....welll that much atleast." He joked, sticking his tongue out at her.
