A soft rumble leaves Flora's muzzle as she rests behind a desk in the library, tail flicking behind her. In front of her, a set of maps detailing Thera'Dor and Cliffside, and the cat is looking over the maps and making a few notes.

Over the past few days, she's been spending most of her time in the lab, in the library, or, of course, with Matthews in the yard, although she hasn't spent a lot of time outside of the mansion recently, although she has made one or two appearances at the store, and of course, she's made her weekly errands to the church.

Responding to Flora's summons, Sveta hurries to the library door as soon as she is able to tear herself away from her duties monitoring the production line. Satisfied that none of the workers are going to do something abyssmaly stupid in her absence, she ascends the stairs from the basement and heads for the library, though not without taking a moment to dust the worst of the smell from her feathers before knocking.

A small smile, a short rumble, and Flora turns around on her chair, as if on cue, right before Sveta knocks. "Friend Sveta. Come, sit with Flora, yes. Flora is contemplating things about some things, yes," she mumbles, gesturing at the maps, along with a few blueprints she's dragged here. "Flora is mostly looking over the experiments, and planning the next journey. It will still be a while though, yes."

Sveta nods genially and crosses the library to where Flora is seated, trying to surreptiously get a glimpse of the blueprints on the table. "I heard about the last journey from Brutus and a few other folk. At least you managed to get your case made." She takes a seat and leans back a little. "So...I'm guessing that this would be about the next trip?"

"Friend Brutus managed to achieve what Flora had hoped for. Much more, one cannot expect during such a short trip to Shralesta, no," the she-cat notes with a small smile, before gesturing at the map. "Flora has not decided our next target yet. Could be Cliffside, could be Thera'Dor... Thera'Dor might be more useful, since it would provide us a point to make in Cliffside, showing that they accept our proposal, if it happens."

"For one, Flora would like Friend Sveta's thoughts on this... For another, Flora thought it might be nice for Friend Sveta to come along to Cliffside, when the time comes? After all, doesn't Friend Sveta's 'friend' come from Cliffside?"

Sveta tilts her head at Flora's words. "I...do not mind travelling long distances. After all, my own parents made it down south on foot and barge

Sveta tilts her head at Flora's words. "I...do not mind travelling long distances. After all, my own parents made it down south on foot and barge; I should not find a far easier trip, either by sea or air, any problem. So no, I am not averse to the trip in and of itself. Regardless of how I feel about the matter..." she thinks a moment. "Never mind. Cliffside is what it is.

"As for my 'friend', I suppose I owe it to him to see his folks, if you are willing to foot his bill as a passenger. Of course, the primary motive of the trip will take precedence."

Flora nods and smiles faintly. "Arrangements can be made, yes. You should ask him later, of course, but Flora can account for this. Flora is also thinking about later... If we intend to do more politics over time, it might be a good idea to buy an airship... Once LongTech Industries is stable, of course, yes. No need to make such expenses right now."

Flora rumbles softly, and pulls up a few sketches, a small smile. "Flora has been testing the two colors of light. Small differences in their... Focus, yes. But not large enough to be a problem, Flora thinks... But Flora hasn't found a proper way to separate colors yet, no," the she-cat mumbles, tail flicking agitatedly, her mind flitting about between subjects... "Sales seem to still be going steady, yes."

Sveta nods. "I'll tell him, then. If you're sure it's no problem, then I don't mind having him along." She coughs, perhaps a little louder and more obviously than is strictly necessary. "Of course, I'm not the best with words, so we'll probably want to go across the main points you'd like me to put forward at least once, perhaps more times before we depart."

Flora nods and murrs softly, before flicking her tails. "How much time does Friend Sveta think she has? Flora can explain right now, yes... Although Flora should note that Friend Brutus is expected to do most of the talking. He is in charge of... Public relations and politics, yes."

"As long as you need. I'll make the time for it." Upon hearing that Brutus will be doing most of the talking, though, Sveta lets out a small sigh of relief. "Well, then. I'll leave what I can to his area of expertise."

A nod, a tailflick. "Basically, the idea as Flora had it was for an 'idea marketplace', if you will. You bring your ideas to the church, whom will then rent them out to other people. If they continue using your idea, they pay the church, and the church pays you in return. It would benefit the smaller beings by allowing them to share their ideas and make some money off of them, and it allows people with money, but not ideas, to fund things, and to start a business, without ever needing to physically meet... It means a being in sweetwater could conme up with something, and a being in Thera'Dor could use it, and they are both getting the result they want, yes."

"I've read up on the basics, yes, but it's always good to hear it from your mouth so there aren't any misunderstandings. Thank you for the explanation." Sveta hesistates a moment, then continues, "do you have a prospective time picked for the trip yet?"

"It will be... Several weeks from now. Flora hasn't decided yet, no," the she-cat rumbles. "And of course, Thera'Dor is first, yes. Cliffside is a later point. Flora will need to make arrangements with Sir Anton as well, yes. Flora was planning on having him join, yes... Of course, if Friend Sveta wants to see Thera'Dor as well... Just let Flora know, yes..."

"And of course, Flora will need to speak with the King, yes."

"I think I will pass on going to the Old Country on business," Sveta replies. "I would like to see it some day, of course...perhaps with my 'friend', but I would rather not the trip be curtailed by other commitments. And someone, as always, will need to stay behind and deal with the other half of the family's advances.

"Nevertheless, I will wish you luck, both with the king and Thera'dor."
