Many beings gather around to look at all the devices on display! Most of which is under glass, a few things however are out in the open! Demonstrations are offered for most everything, for the right price that is. In the center of all of it is a 2 tailed fox waving a cane around, "Welcome, Welcome! This is the expo for the Collective of the Technologists! Here to unveil what the church will never tell you, that there is no magic, no spirit behind these machines, this creator tech, just simple mechanics! Come everyone and see for yourselves!" Here are some devices others may remember! Creator Scourchers, Twirligigs, the Bodyswap, and the Flesh Crafter! Surely this is the most creator tech in one place other then the major churches in the City of Churches!

Sveta arrives at the marketplace, her work clothes still a little dusty and creased from her usual duties. Seems the arrival of these "technologists" was rather unexpected, at least on her part, but at the mere rumor of new devices had to come and take a gander. Still, this can't have been approved by the church, and if they knew, they'd get quite bothered, would they? Best to keep a distance and observe what they're all about, then.

Plenty of beings 'had to come', as it seems, crowds of them filling the square. It's no wonder that even the Solacious vixen known as Mirana absolutely must show up. Right behind her trails a shorter, younger canine, sticking at the vixen's tail wherever she goes. A coyote female, large patches of her fur aroun the neck, chest, and back a much more copper shade than the usual tan. Even her hair is reddish in color. The spectacle of a market sale is one she didn't see often, glancing at everything she has the ability to see.

Angus walks into the marketplace and draws his cloak about him, glancing around at the spectacle before him. This was rather intresting, an actual viewing of creator tech? How could anyone pass this up. Chuckling to himself he looks to Angel beside him, giving her a slight smile as he leads her towards some of the more intresting looking devices. Curious as to what they were actually meant to do.

Hearing about the loads of interesting devices being put on display, a lion makes his way into the marketplace. Even after a few days have passed from the fire, his shirt laying beneath his coat seems quite ripped and torn in various places. What a lazy feline. Dio looks around at the various machines and devices on display, but he didn't have a lot of knowledge on just how they worked or what they did really. However, with such a big display happening in the marketplace, surly there would be plenty of food merchants out and about selling wonderful things at great prices, right? And so he walks about, searching for whoever would sell some food and naturally chatting up a storm about food technology.

Meyna is wandering the marketplace, fiddling with the catch of her pistol, tweaking it back and forth and eventually poking a daggertip into a groove to tweak it. She comes to a stop as she does that since even she's not willing to randomly stick someone. Usually. Looking up, she spots all of the tech and mutters, "Going to get something stupid going this way."

Eriene mewls a bit in frustration, trying to make her way through the crowds, jumping to try and spot her mistress. She does this often, weaving as best as she could between people. She finally spots the vixen, and the young Ruby behind her. She tries to catch their attention crying out and waving her arms to direct them to her. Unsure if she was seen she waits patiently a bit, stifled by the taller attendees, wondering if she should instead go to meet them.

Angel walks along with Angus, "My Lord, what exactly are we here for?" she asks looking around herself, never having much use for the machines. She looks around more at the people, giving Sveta a nod and a smile, as well as one to Mirana, though she is curious a moment about the coyote behind her. A slight frown toward Dio, but she gets a bit closer to Angus.

Mirana frowns deeply, "So much of the sacred machines, not in the hands of the church..." she seems displeased, but keeps most of it to herself. She reaches out to give Ruby a hug, then... notices Angus. She turns her eye away and toward Sveta, "Hello there Sweetie!" She says and smiles, "I hope I'm not putting myself to out there by being here," evidently still not feeling right about the things said to her, "come along Ruby, lets get you introduced to some beings, we need to make sure you have friends to play with and be around besides just me, Eriene and Ictus." she says and speak of the devil!! "Eriene! Come over here, come along!" She says as she walks toward Sveta, looking to Meyna along the way, but there is so much going on...

The two tailed fox waves around to everyone but, notices Ruby the most! "Ahh! Here we have a satisfied customer of ours! Would you care to come tell your story young coyote! And I hope the changes that the Flesh Crafter did for you have been up to your expectations! Yes folks, the Flesh Crafter! Able to change just about everything about your outward self, just about anything for the right price! Come one, come all, and learn the possiblities of creator tech when put in the right hands!" he announces.

Sveta spots a few familiar faces amongst the crowd. If it were just her, perhaps...but no. Duty comes first, then curiosity. Her boots heavy against the cobblestones, she approaches Dio. "Good morning, oh Lion of Scruffy countenance. Strange to meet you here at this sort of event, although..." she frowns at his shirt. "You can't go out looking like this. Find me later at my studio, and I'll mend it for you. Honestly, must I do everything?" With that, she takes the poor lion by the arm, if he will follow, and approaches Mirana. "Good day, Lady Solacious. No, this appears safe, for a value of safe, and I am here. Besides, I presume you have knowledge of these devices on display. But who is this with you?"

Ruby tilts her head a bit upon hearing Mira's muttering, but doesn't inquire. Lightly returning the hug she's given, she continues to stare at everything, and everyone. Every time Mira greets someone else, she looks their way, getting a good look at the people her caretaker knows. The coyote is dressed in a white long-sleeve blouse that can't be buttoned which shows off more cleavage than she'd like, purple tights, a knee-length leather traveling jacket, and hiking boots. "O-oh, who?" she asks, her mind immediately turning to the past, and a frown growing on her muzzle. Seeing Eriene, however, bringing a smile to the coyote's face, and she waves to the feline. As she's pointed out by the man on stage, she shrinks back to try and hide behind Mira, hoping they'd see someone else instead. Shaking her head, she tries to deny her involvement with the flesh crafter. The sight of Sveta coming over distracts her though, compelling her to wave. "M-my name is Ruby..."

Meyna cracks her knuckles and mutters to herself as she steps up to one of the displays, looking over the gear quietly, at least for now. She picks her way through the crowd and instead scans for, well, bounty heads. She doesn't know anyone here and she's largely unnoticed which works in her favor.

Angus turns to study the fox as he announces loudly about the Flesh Crafter....sounded like an intresting device. "We are here because it's fun, and it's a quick break from training and duties." He comments to Angel, noticing Meyna for the first and gives her a nod in greeting. But when he notices Mirana he scowls, and grabs Angels hand. "Come on..." He comments, making his way towards the Fox, and then Fleshcrafter machine.

It didn't take too long to find a merchant eager to sell and take advantage of all the commotion going about the marketplace. A bear it would seem, selling freshly cooked meat in various forms. Oh joyous of days! Dio and the bear begin conversing, seemingly having a good time as he begins reaching into his coat pocket. "Ah, hello there lass," he says as he notices Sveta approach. "No need fer that. Just a few rips 'n' tears never hurt anyone." And now to seal the deal, be blessed with the glory of wonderful meat in his belly. "An' now th- Hey!" Being lead away on the arm, he begins hopping on one foot to keep his balance the entire journey towards the destination, eventually regaining it once they stop. "But... But meat..." The lion frowns and looks towards the ground, kicking a rock in his path in a child-like fashion.

Meyna cracks her knuckles and mutters to herself as she steps up to one of the displays, looking over the gear quietly, at least for now. She picks her way through the crowd and instead scans for, well, bounty heads. She doesn't know anyone here and she's largely unnoticed which works in her favor. She sort of nods towards Angus, only half-remembering him, though that's more than she expected really. Still, she works her way forward, especially towards the device since, well, if you're running from a hunter, what better way to get out of it.

Eriene squeezes between an assortment of beings, finally reaching her mistress and the little 'yote. She blinks as the man on stage somehow recognizes Ruby and glancing over to her realizes this makes you youg girl uncomfortable. The kitten tries as best she could to help provide cover for the shy canine, mrowling in displeasure at the male.

Angel nods to Angus and walks along with him, Yes My Lord, a break can be good. she says blushing a bit but simply continuing along. As she passes Sveta, Mira, Ruby, Eriene, and Dio she smiles again to Sveta, Sveta, when can we get together so I may learn to make music? And talk marketing? She asks before continuing along. Once at the Flesh Crafter though, she looks to Angus, My Lord, does this one interest you? she asks. She looks over to Meyna, Hello Leopard, how is your day? she asks, Angle's best attempt at 'nice.'

Mira sighs softly, Sveta, I do hope one day you can understand, and yes, I have some working knowledge of some of these, but most I have never seen before. She tries to get the fellow kitsune's attention, Good Sir! Might I take a look at these things and get a better idea about them? She asks. Then she looks to Ruby, partly in shock, So.. this is how you.. she starts but doesn't finish, turning to Sveta and Dio again, Yes, this is Ruby, and I'm taking care of her, getting her back up on her paw, the poor dear has had a rough time of it since coming to the city. She explains, shaking her head at Dio's still unmended shirt. Then, she notices Angus walking over to the Flesh Crafter... her eyes narrow as she watches him, muttering softly, unhearable by most unless they are very near her, 'Brother..... what are you thinking... you aren't thinking of still...'

The fox on stange though smiles wide as Angus, Angel and Meyna look over the Flesh Crafter, Taking an interest in this one then, like our good coyote friend over there? he says, pointing out Ruby even more! Yes, for the right price this can change, for just a moment or for a lifetime anything about your form and body, gender, fur color, species, anything you like! He announces with many gasps from beings around. But to Mira he simply wags a finger, Now now, The Church is welcome to glance at our wonderful machines, but no touching! Your hands are the wrong ones to help the good beings of Promise with these!

Mira looks very displeased as she hears that.

Sveta bows slightly, the looks Ruby up and down. "My name is Svetlana Kuznetsova, and this here is Dio...I've never really asked his last name, though." She leans over and whispers at Dio for a moment, then pulls away. "I'm an artisan down at the craft school, although I'm still in training, and on my off days...well, I've recently taken to watching the Lady Solacious. Dio...well, he tells me used to be a mercenary, but ever since I've met him I don't think I've seen him do single lick of work." The goshawk nudges him in the ribs. "But enough about me. Well, Ruby, what's your relationship with Lady Solacious -" she turns at the fox's announcement, then notices Angus and Angel going up front, hears the words, and her face immediately falls. "What is he doing now? Lady Solacious! I - he can't be - he's got it all wrong - never said anything about" she unholsters her shield from her back and begins clearing a swathe through the crowd with it, leaving the way clear for anyone who wishes to follow her to do so.

Ruby hangs her head in shame as Mira figures out that's the method she used, nodding slowly. "Yes..." she replies, nodding along with the rest of what Mira explains to Sveta. Hearing the muttering of her matron, she takes a quick and astonished glance at Angus, seeing the resemblance. If he looks her way, he'd see a scowl before turning her attention to the others. The continued reference to her use of the flesh crafter makes her squirm in her place, frowning at the two-tailed man. She's about to reply to Sveta when she draws her shield and begins clearing a patch through the crowd, gasping and looking confusedly at Mira.

:How much for a permament change?" The Fox said bluntly, Angus turns his gaze to the Fox. His tails twitching as he awaits a response. "And yes, this one does intrest me." He comments back to Angel, and gives a smile to Meyna. He turns when he hears a commotion coming from the crowd, noticing Sveta starting to push her way through but ignoring her when he turns back to the fox.

It would seem that Aunt Sveta wanted the poor lion to socialize. Dio certainly loved to talk to people, but he could eat AND talk at the same time. Once more, the smile upon his big goofy head returns, head held high as he turns around to look at the others. "I don't 'ave a last name, lass! Well I do, but I 'ave no idea what it is. Or maybe I don't?" He begins rubbing at his chin, quite caught up in a storm of thoughts until a whisper catches his attention, causing him to nod and smile. The elbow into his ribs makes him emit a short 'oof', and then a cough. "Indeed! Ex-mercenary at yer service. And I do a lot of work, you just don't see me doin' it." He puts his eyes on the coyote, giving her a friendly smile and a wave. An interesting but shy one. He must break her out of that shell! "Where you goin' lass," he shouts out, soon trailing behind Sveta and her shield, not sure what's going on thanks to his one track mind and not paying attention to anything to what's on stage.

Meyna shakes her head and says, "No no, not interested in the machine, more in the sort that would use it. A bit freaky I figure, nothing I'd get into. I could see it's benefits though and... hopefully you don't have an issue with a look-see for a few?"

Eriene spreads her arms and hisses angrily at the kitsune, glancing back at Ruby, concern over the canine's distress written across her short muzzle. She meeps, half startled by the sudden shifting of the crowd, glimpsing only the metalic flash of a shield. Looking up in wonderment at her Mistress, mewing in confusion at fast the turn of events.

Angel nods to Angus, "What is your interest My Lord.. is there something about me displeasing?" she asks looking down cast for a moment. She looks herself over, "I could remove the binders in public if you wanted My Lord..." she says disappointment in herself obvious in her voice. She looks to Meyna as she talks and wonders the same for a bit, but finally she looks over to the fox as Angus continues to ask questions.

Mira shakes her head, "We all make mistakes dear, it is ok Ruby, just learn from them and be better next time." she says, continuing to eye Angus, but she makes no move toward him, nor anything to stop Sveta and Dio. She just shakes her head, "Ruby dear... remember when I said family issues." she says. "This is one of them." She smiles and leans into Ruby to give a tight hug, then one to Eriene as well, "Here is where my attentions are." Her side turned to Angus and the commotion going on there.

The fox smiles a bit more widely and hops off the stage to address everyone more properly. "Permament change is a sack of lunar dust, weighing 50 ounces, per being, all the changes you want for that price, but I must warn, the machine sometimes has a mind of its own." he says, ignoring most everything else except Meyna's question. "Just as the priests, we welcome people to look around, but no investigating them, any questions you have, I'm sure I can answer!" He says and then points out a few changes that they managed to make! "As you can see, we've managed to hook up a second cart to the Flesh Crafter! Yes! We can make two similar changes to two beings at once! Same price though." he explains.

Elbowing beings aside is easy with the massive tower shield in hand. Noticing Dio following along behind her, Sveta takes care to shield the lion as well, although beings part before her with reasonable ease, as one might expect of anyone holding a big piece of metal out in public. She drops the shield slightly, though, as she stops in the crowd with just enough cover to keep her from Angus' direct sight - for now - and addresses the fox. "Yes, excuse me, I have a question. What exactly did you mean by 'it has a mind of its own'? For that much lunar dust, and considering the change is permanent, would one not expect a more reliable service? Also, I would like to inquire as to the potential side-effects of using this thing. Has it actually been tried?"

Ruby tilts her head as she looks up at Mira, having assumed she would follow Sveta through the crowd. Glancing over that way a few times to see what's going on, she wears a troubled expression. Nodding to Mira, she sighs softly, silently wishing family issues didn't need to happen. At least the fox man was done tormenting her in front of the whole city. Hearing the price of the flesh crafter, she gives a soft nod, remembering how much she had paid for the service. Unsure what lay in store for the waward tod, she watches from afar, waving back to Dio. "I see... it's just sad your feud is with your own brother..." she says softly, hugging Mira in return. Eriene's efforts don't go unnoticed however, the coyote smiling at her.

Angus glances at Angel and shakes his head. "The change is not fo you, it is for myself." He had heard about the price from Selena, and was prepared. But as a precaution he turns to Meyna. "I know that you don't usually do guard work, but I would like to pay for your services. I am willing to hire you if you make sure no one interfers." He asks of her, turning to look over the crowd as the question is asked before he turns back to the fox.

Dio waves and shakes his head and hands at the many people of the crowd, apologizing as the goshawk and lion push on by. "Sorry about that lads. Important questions in need of answerin' I guess." With his attention now caught upon the stage, he finally listens in and analyzes just what is going on in this crazy world. "A body shiftin' machine with a mind of its own," he questions, tilting his head. "I wear my form with pride!" The normally loose and out there lion puts a hand over his chest and stands at attention, pride gleaming and practically shimmering off his person. His eyes soon spot Angus, shaking his head, but choosing not to say anything for the moment.

Meyna taps her food on the ground for a moment and says, "I wouldn't expect some coddled noble to be the sort to hide. Or is this something else? You are that noble that stopped me for... what, a brief chat the other day yeah?" She crosses her arms to look over at the machine again while saying, "And did you really call me leopard earlier? Hey, hi there works better. Much better." Then she raises an eyebrow and says, "Aah, money, the magic anyone can do. Retainer's half up front, what's the offer?"

Eriene nuzzles her Lady, as she's embraced, only afterwards looking back to glare at the sleazy salesman, trying to be as menacing and discouraging as her tiny form would let her.

Angel looks very very confused at that, "Not for me My Lord? For you? But.. you are perfect as you are! What could you possibly need to change My Lord?" She seems to have no clue what Angus is planning for himself, none at all. She looks over to Meyna, and then Sveta and Dio. She shakes her head, "If.. My Lord wants to change himself..." she says, but deft hands move to the tod's belt, releaving him of some of his stockpile of lunar dusts. Depending on the change she would want... need to change herself too.

Mira shakes her head again, and gives a deep sigh. If Ruby and Eriene are looking at her closely, tears fill her eyes, so much to make her distraught of late, so much going so wrong. "It is sad Ruby, very sad, but I've done all I can..." she says, holding tighter, mostly for her benefit. She can't stand it, but, there isn't anything she can do that she hasn't already tried. She pulls Eriene a bit closer, "When... we get back sweeties... I'm going to need some time, and... something sweet, and hugs..." she says, rubbing her face against both of them in turn.

The fox laughs a bit! "Take a look right back there my friends! That coyote being hugged on by the ... vixen mother! The coyote's own motherly shape is a result of our machines! And it seems she is quite happy with her changes, we have done others of course, and... only a few hiccups here and there, nothing major, odd streaks in your fur for example." He explains, then shakes his head at Dio, "This isn't for everyone, but we do have something for anyone here! Maybe you'd like to know what is going on in the pretty bird's head dear lion? The machine three tables down could help you with that! Project every thought, emotion, and sensation from one being to another! Could there be a better way to make someone see your point of view!" Then he looks to Angus, "Just discribe the changes you are making my good fox, and we will make you into anything you want, just 50 ounces of dust." Pressing a button on the controls the doors open unlock and are ready to open, a few blindfolds coming out of a slot beside the doors, "No peaking inside now, if you go in, we can't let you see what is happening, but I'll answer anything you might want to know."

Sveta says nothing for a few seconds. She looks back and forth between Ruby and the fox, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Then she squeezes her eyes shut and squiares her shoulders. "I see. That's all I need to know. A few presuppositions on my part, but better safe than sorry." With that, the goshawk draws her arm back and brings the flat of her shield straight into the side of the fox's head. There's a satisfyingly - at least, for her - wet sound as the metal connects, and she steps over the fox to advance upon the entire ensemble, making a beeline for a certain device and the two beings standing by it, her steps slow, heavy and equally implacable.

Ruby pouts quite heavily upon seeing Mira's tears, holding the overworked vixen tighter. "Shhh..." she coos, just wanting Mira to not be so sad, but unknowing of what she can do to help. "Yes Mira, whatever you want... when we get back, I'll get you anything you ask for." she says quickly, patting Mira's back to try and stop her from crying. Hearing yet more focus being poured onto her, she glares defensively at the fox, holding Mira tighter, more protectively. Biting her lip, she huffs, an eye twitching. Something snaps. She's about to go right over there and teach him whatfor, but Sveta does that for her. Seeing the shield impact the side of his head with a sickening crack, she swallows audibly, but doesn't react much. She wanted him to shut up anyway. It's her hope that all eyes draw towards Sveta instead of herself.

Angus flinks, and then turns to Angel when she takes his lunar dust. "What are you doing?" He asks staring at her in shock before he hears the impact of Sveta's shield against the foxes head, and then she turns to them. "....Dammit, Sveta stay out of this!" He snaps, drawing one of his pistols and pointing it towards the Goshawk as his eyes narrow. "This has nothing to do with you."

"What's inside the bird' head?" Dio begins to laugh in his typical booming nature, clutching at his stomach before eventually calming down. "The Bird of Bluntness is quite open with 'er thoughts. No need fer a mind readin' device." As the shield bashes into the fox, he begins to chuckle once more. "Speakin' of blunt! A solid hit, lass." Enjoying the festivities quite a bit, he follows quickly in Sveta's wake. "Ahh, fox-kit," he says, shaking his head and standing behind Sveta. "I think we need to 'ave that man to man talk now."

Meyna pulls both of her pistols free and points at Sveta and says, "Now, nothing personal, but you're stepping on my tab and I need that tab so I don't have to keep shooting others." She then tilts the pistol and sights it in, aiming a bit low at the bird. Just before pulling the trigger, she calls over to Angus, "You're picking up the tab for collateral and ammo too." Seems she's not... totally going for a kill shot, but that's counted in collateral either way.

Eriene whimpers sadly, concern and confusion warring on her features. "Yes Mistress, I'll find something for you, anything you want. Now please...don't cry..." Her ears perk at the salesman's words, and she clenches her small paws, fury building in her little figure. Just as she turns to maul the Kitsune a sickening wet crunch fills her head. She blinks and stares up at the scene, dumbfounded. The tunes out a moment, shocked, reawakening to gunshots and cries of alarm. She trembles, unable to break her gaze away from these horrible sights, her legs paralyzed with disoriented terror.

Angel looks to Angus and shakes her head, "My Lord, just a precaution, I wouldn't want all of your lunars going to changes, this is incase you need to change back." she says with a smile, "My Lord told me I could take precautions." She reminds and looks to Sveta as she assults the fox! She puts the dust to her belt and pulls her daggers, but Meyna seems to have that handled! In the confusion though, she guides Angus to the mahcine taking a blindfold and tying it for him, "Tell the fox what you want My Lord, and go in, she says.

As the commotion gets bigger though, a few guards show up, not in Sweetwater uniforms! "What is going on here? Who is disrupting the..." then they notice the pistol, and the lion bleeding, the shield used to assult Angus "Break it up! You! We are going to take you to a guard house and you will be explain why this all happened!" Says the rhino pointing at... Sveta!?

Mira hugs a bit tigher to Ruby and Eriene, "Thank you dears.. thank you so much.. yes, just a relaxing time with you two.. some sweets and a bath please Eriene, Ruby..." she says then hears the shots! Looking over sharply she stands back up fully as quickly as the maternal vixen can! Waddling over toward Dio and Sveta, "I'm a Journeywoman! Out of my way! Is anyone hurt?" she says and when she gets there looks to Dio's hips! "Oh by Shaila!! Hold on." she starts digging through her bag pulling out her medical kit. A pouch of anastetics in his muzzle before he can say anything, and she is quick to try and tie off the wound... but.. .no matter how hard she tries the bleeding won't stop! "We need to get him to the church, now!" she calls out, a few beings murmering away at this.

Sveta looks down at Dio. Dio, bleeding out on the ground. Mirana, trying to save him. The guard's words seem hazy, a little distant. Then Meyna, Angus...

Dio. Right.

He's bleeding.

Screaming like...something that screams very loud, she hurtles straight at Meyna, shield held out front to block incoming shots.

The shots cause Ruby to shrink back and press against Mira, letting out a scream along with many other beings in the crowd. However, seeing that Mira is heading up right into the action to try and take care of Dio, she bites her lip, feeling torn. Go to see if she can help, or hide away like a little girl? In the end, fear wins over everything else. "I'm sorry, Mira!" she calls out, taking Eriene by the paw and leading her quickly away from the utter chaos. It's best left in the hands of others that know what they're doing.

Angus freezes as he hears a gun shot and just stares as Dio is shot. But then Angel takes him by surprise pushes him towards the machine and blindfolds him. He opens his mouth, about to speak to the fox....before he removes his blindfold and moves away from Angel. "Dammit.." He mutters underneath his breath, before he moves over to Myena and shouts. "Everyone stop!"

Dio watches the pistol fly out, aimed at Sveta. Normally he would trust the bird and her shield to deflect such as he's seen before, but the shooter seemed to have met a wonderful angle. Pushing off the balls of his feet, he springs forth in front of the shot, catching it successfully in his hip. The lion roars out in pain, clutching at his gaping and bleeding wound. He falls first to one knee, then the other, and then onto his back shortly after. He writhes and wallows in pain, a pool of blood forming beneath the lion as the various medical techniques applied do little to stop the bleeding. The loss of blood begins to make the lion feel rather hazy, and would need help quite soon if he were going to remain conscious.

Eriene mewls, reaching out to stop her mistress from endangering herself, only to be pulled aside by Ruby. She whimpers, being dragged away from the scene by the young canine, trapped between trying to help her mistress and keeping her mistress's charge safe...As she gives in and stumbles with the coyote, she tries to find an answer to forgive herself for her choice... Her Lady's brother would make sure nothing happend to her, right? The conflicted kitten could only hope...

Meyna had been about to take a step forward while keeping her other pistol trained on Sveta, the first being holstered. At the yell, she stops and as Sveta starts to charge, she drops her aim and aims just above the knee before pulling the trigger while saying frustrated, "Dammit, give it a rest! Noble-... and he's in the box. Wonderful." She holsters the pistol and steps around the bird and makes her way over to the lion while looking... well annoyed really. She crouches a decent distance from him as well and says, "Stop thrashing you idiot, you're making it worse." She looks to Mirana and holds her hands up, "I'd offer ot help, but I did shoot the git, I'd think it would go poorly. Can still try." She then jerks her thumb and says, "The other one will need help too. Make.." She looks over her shoulder at the box and points to it, "Make sure he pays for it all and no cheaping out on it or I'm putting a hole in him too."

Angel looks very very confused as Angus steps away from the machine, takes the blindfold off and starts to help Dio himself! She shakes her head, "But.. My Lord..." and he says for everyone to stop, but Sveta and Meyna continue on! She is about to draw her own daggers, but stops when the notices the guards. Only a stupid assassin makes such a move with so many eyes on the scene. She simply walks over to Angus, and keeps close to him.

As Ruby and Eriene call out in their own ways, she nods over to them, "It is ok sweeties! Get to safety, Creators take you all, what are you thinking!?" Then Sveta starts to charge and is shot! She yips out and moves to Sveta to try and quickly bandage before the bird can get up again, but can't stop the bleeding here either! She feels completely failing at this point, but tries anyway! "Damn it everyone! STOP! GUARDS!! ANYONE!" she calls out.

As Angus moves away from the machine the fox looks very disappointed, but then, more shots!! He backs away, still holding his head and takes a seat on the stage, "What... is wrong with these beings?" he asks no one in particular.

The guards look less then pleased! Even more show up, the group now surrounded by 12 of them, a mix of Sweetwater guards and guards of the Expo, "Everyone who isn't injured, and isn't helping the injured, drop your weapons, hands and claws in the air!" Many pikes, swords, crossbows and pistols are pointed around. "The next person to make a move with a weapon will not be given a second warning." Says a tiger, obiously a captan of the guard. Dio's wounds being treated by Angus, stop bleeding, but there is still a nice hole in his hip, a similar one in Sveta's thigh

Sveta trembles as she passes by Angus. Her shield feels heavier, but duty comes first, as always, and she waves off Mirana's attempts to help. Weapon? No, she holds no weapon, merely a shield. That's no weapon - its purpose is to protect, not harm...although some things can be flexible at times. "No, no, please, Lady Solacious...later, not now." She sneers at Angus. "You, you, you. It's just got to be all about you, doesn't it? No, it's not about you. Do whatever you want. Was this...your grand plan? To run away? Change your name, face, body, identity? No, I don't care what you do, Angus Solacious. Compound your sins as much as you want, but leave Angel out of it - she'll follow you to the ends of Promise if that's what it takes to make 'my lord' happy. What I do care about, though, is..." she stops and gasps for breath, blood pouring into her feathers and turning them into a matted mass. Trembling, shivering, terrified and furious. "This! This has no reason to exist!" The box, a single, focused object of her rage. "This thing here goes against everything...I...we...there are some things we are not meant...to know...to have..." With that, she draws her shield back one last time and sends it straight into the box, putting every ounce of strength she has left into the blow - wood splinters and creator steel buckles under the savage beating.

The guards waste no time in leaping forward and taking Sveta down. Some of the blows glance off her jerkin, while the pike takes her in the arm and the sword in her gut before she crumples to the floor, her wings bent at awkward angles. "Do you remember?" she gasps to no one in particular, lying in a pool of her own blood. "I promised to find the cave...and destroy it, but I couldn't keep that promise...couldn't find a trail...but it came to me today. I...I...regret nothing...except dragging you all into this..." her words trail off as she passes clean out.

Angus snarls at Sveta as he passes her, moving over to Dios side. "Oh shut up, what do you know about grand plans? All you care for is your duty, and this perfect little world you try and live in. Stop trying to judge what you don't even understand." He snaps at the Goshawk before he gets to work on fixing Dio. The bleeding was his first priority, after that he would have to bandage to wound and keep him stable until they could get to a proper healer and have the bullet taken out. The guards make him chuckle. "Oh please, it's not like you were doing your job when this started so why do it now?"

The sting of the bullet continued to burn in the lion's hip, bleeding profusely onto the floor. However, he certainly wasn't a stranger to such injuries, as most likely evident when one considers the sea of scars upon his person. Just another scar to add on the list it would seem. Dio wasn't planning on passing out this soon however. Certainly not. He was a thick headed lion! And the bandaging certainly help. Though the bleeding was stopped, he still felt quite woozy from the loss of blood. "No need fer that, fox-kit," he smiles, putting a hand on Angus' shoulder. "Yer a man, with a good heart. I know it, but... You've still got some growin' up to do. Thanks lad." His precious coat, stained in blood... That would be a problem later, but there were more important things! He dragged himself over to the downed goshawk, attempting to stop her bleeding the best he could. "Yer an interestin' one, that's fer sure."

Meyna looks over at the guards as they surround the group and says wryly, "A bit late boys, maybe you shouldn't sit on your hands and actually do your jobs. Professionalis- really you twit? Get back on the ground and let the go-... the foxes here plug the hole." She begins to stand, moving to draw her pistol, then stops and smiles to the guards, hands moving away from them. "I had a good reason for it. It was even in your favor." At the sound of the crunching metal though, she winces, then says, "I'm still taking half my pay on this Angus, plugged with a hole and surrounded and she still hobbles off to break the toy." Then she puts her hands up properly and says, "Right, so when you've figured out how to keep them from dying, make sure" She points to Angus, "He pays for at least the lion, foolish as jumping in front of a round is I figure. He is paying my collateral at least after all."

Angel watches as Sveta is braught down by the guards, whincing the whole time, and huddling close to Angus. She just watches, unsure of what to do about all this, Angus isn't in immediate harm, so she just waits... she doesn't want trouble, so she doesn't stop the attacks on Sveta... Looking like she wants to do something but...

Mira goes stock white when Sveta attacks the machine, only to be braught down by the guards! She is about to move in to continue helping when a better idea comes to her. She stand, one hand on her belly, the other holding her pendant high, but not off her neck, "I am Lady Mirana Solacious! Standing Corpral of the Lightbringers and Captain of the Sweetwater Militia! I want everyone here arrested and braught in to be questioned!" She announces and waits for the guards to do their duities, heaving a sigh and whisper, "I.. hope that.. stops the fighting.. no more hurt.." she says loud enough that maybe Dio, Angus and Angel hear her as she kneels back down. She starts to cry once more, but, now isn't the time, she needs to be the strong Solacious to end this...

The fox just goes wide eyed as the machine is assulted! "WHAT ARE YOU!! WHY!" But as Mira speaks he quiets down, sits back down, and starts calculating the damages to charge the bird with later. He can't believe this and stands, "Expo is over! Everyone, please make your way to the exits."

The guards' attack on Sveta seeming to do the trick they turn to start sorting it out when Mira speaks. They all look at her and nod, ignoring for now the infrances that they are poor at thier jobs. They take out shakles and rope, "Please, hold out your hands everyone, don't make any more trouble." each of them say in turn as they start to bind Sveta, Angus, Dio, Meyna, and even Mira. Sveta and Dio will be taken to the church for more treatment, Angus, Meyna, and Mira to a guard house for questioning.

Angus sighs as Dio just stands up. "Your going to pass out if you keep moving." He comments to the Foolish Lion, already wondering how much Meyna's services will be setting him back. "Yes yes, sounds reasonable. Just no more shooting." He waves a hand at Myena dismissivly, but Mira's words make him scowl. "Just because you hope it stops doesn't mean it will. Grow up." He was still rather mad at Mira, his tails twitching as the guards walk up to him. "Sorry, Please doesn't change a damn thing."

When Dio woke up today, he simply wanted a fine meal, lavished with various types of meat and taking advantage of the exposition to get a good deal. But soon enough, he found himself bound, not putting up a struggle. Not like he could in his condition and situation. "When this is over fox-kit, we still need to 'ave that man to man talk. I think you'll enjoy it." As he's led away, limping and still grunting in pain, he looks upon the merchant stand he was previously at with a longing look. But then, the merchant meets his gaze and nods, as if they struck some kind of deal without words. Perhaps Dio was a regular customer there, but it seemed like he was going to get hooked up at some point.

No way in hell would Ruby stay away from the situation forever. As soon as things seem like they're cooling off, the coyote careully makes her way back towards the square where things went oh so wrong. "Mira!" she calls out, hoping that she might catch the last of things, and make sure everyone is okay.<br
As Ruby comes back up to them, and they are all taken away, a very sad, very... shamed looking Mira looks back to her. "Ruby... sweetie.. I.. I won't be long dear.. head back to the inn, make sure to take Eriene with you and wait there for me.. I shouldn't be long and.. I'm.. sorry our outting turned out like this... I..." and at last her dam breaks, crying as she is lead away.
