A soft rumble leaves Flora's muzzle as she looks out over the area, tails swaying behind her. She's briefed all the groups going out for her valuable creator-artifacts, and they've all been sent to their respective ruins, with their escorts.

This, of course, leaves Flora and Sveta to discuss the further planning, allowing them both to pore over the map, where six ruins are marked. Not five, like she discussed in the inn. Sveta has been up since morning, trying to focus on everything that's been going on, especially the planning. Forcing a little food down has helped with the light-headedness, and she, too, pores over the map that Flora has out on the table, muttering to herself. "...Well. At the very least, it'll stretch them thing to try and cover all six locations. Or maybe not - they have far more resources than we do. It wouldn't do to undertestimate them." "Of course no, no... But that, is why Flora said we would send a small group of beings to these five, yes... It is a long trek from there to our actual target, here," she murrs with a grin, pointing at the five ruins in the west, before gesturing at the one singular ruin to the east. "These ones to the west... They will prove dangerous. If the family has entered them first, which Flora thinks they will have... Their plan to trap our beings will instead trap them, yes," the she-cat murrs with a sly smirk on her snout. "It is... A matter of planning."

Sveta taps her beak, thinking, then shakes her head. "We'll find out when news gets back from them." She rubs her forehead. "I should stop worrying and double-guessing myself. Here's to hoping that everyone comes back safe."

Flora smiles and flicks her tails, before nodding along faintly, gesturing at the different ruins. "This one, the one not discussed before... It is our best bet for the tool we want. especially since it hasn't been opened for a long, long time, yes.

"These five... They may hold some trinkets. Broken scorchers, or other things, maybe, but nothing of great interest... What interests Flora, however, is the potential of striking a blow towards the family... It mightn't be more than a light jab, but if we can catch a few of them, we can send a message that we do not plan to submit, yes. And of course, we can see if we can't get people to talk, yes yes."

"I do hope that we can do something. It would be good for morale amongst the employees. Unless you count that small victory with retrieving the instruments of that opera troupe - which was not aimed at us specifically - we've been on the defensive, and while I'm not worried, I think it's starting to wear down some of the help. You can see it in the way they carry themselves."

"Small blows. Movements in the shadows. Until we are ready to lash out... It will have to do for now. As for the employees... They recieve steady pay, yes... Flora has heard no complaints so far, no. Security-measures are in full effect, and we do whatever we can, yes."

Sveta nods. "I know. No one wants to voice it out loud to either of us, but especially after that last time..." Sveta's head turns to her shoulder, still in a cast. "Never mind. I'm sure we've hired competent, trustworthy help, and we have top beings leading these. Top. Beings." She forces a smile. "I'm sure we'll get good news soon. When are we expecting them back?"

Flora nods and smiles lightly. "Flora... Flora hears friend Sveta already got some good news, yes?" she asks with a small, playful smirk, before looking at the map. "All teams are supposed to be back before midnight... It should... Take about two more hours for the last team to reach their destination, so that means they have ten, at most, to find what they're looking for and start the trek back, yes.

At the mention of "good news", Sveta goes a little quiet, but quickly seizes the chance to change the topic. "Mm-hm. I don't like it when I'm not personally there to see it done, much like the production line, but...I also realise one can't be everywhere. Delegation is hard. I'm sure you know that," she says, offering a smile to Flora. "Everything's been set up with the Church, right? Did you read the latest missive? If we find broken artefacts, we could take them to that Creator merchant and have them assessed, see if they can be repaired if they're not considered contraband."

"Flora is... Aware. Anything the teams find will be looked through by the church and Flora personally, and any dangerous objects will indubitably generate discussion as to whom keeps them... Anything that is perfectly safe will be taken by LongTech, and, if we do not require them, given to the Church for study until we do. Flora has... No issues with this, and it means the Church has no reason to deny us."

Sveta nods and sighs. "In that case, all we can do is sit and wait. I'll admit, it doesn't quite sit well with me. Have we someplace to secure...what you're looking for? I take it we have, but I've been in my room so much that most new I get is a little unreliable."

"Flora will keep it safe, yes," the she-cat rumbles, before tapping her chin... "A vault or a safe, however, would not be a bad idea, no... Flora will contemplate this, yes," she rumbles with a small smile, before flicking her ears lightly... "Flora will... Do some research, yes."

Sveta nods. "I'd suggest a vault, yes. Down in the laboratory - and perhaps concealed in some fashion. Underground, cool and dark - most things keep well that way. Just look at the Undertunnels."

A small nod, a small smile. "Flora will contemplate the placement, the size, and so on, yes," she rumbles with a smile, before standing up... "Now, unless there is anything else... Flora will need to see to matters."

Sveta shakes her head and rises to her feet unsteadily, bracing herself on the table with her good hand. "Please do. I have faith in you. Every being in this manor does, I think. And I ought to get something to eat and lie down again..."
