Lady Longtail and Matthews arrive at the small infirmery of the Creator church. It is a quiet afternoon and sunlight filters in through the high set windows, illuminating the little room well. A round, matronly little black bear is puttering around, tucking sheets onto the currently empty beds and doing general cleanup. When she notices the couple, she bobs up with a start. "Oh hello dearies," she says cheerfully, "How can old Memna help you today?"

Flora gently pushes Matthews forwards, her tails twitching behind her as she rests her golem by the doorway. Somehow, she doubts people would be too supportive of her taking the golem further into the building. Again, she nudges Matthews, wordlessly suggesting that he does the talking, at least for now.

Matthews is nudged forward by Flora, the tomcat's tail curling up slightly as he looks around before settiling on Menma as he clears his throat awkwardly. "Good day Ma'am, M'lady behind me has been feeling ill as of late and to tell the truth the symptoms have been told to us to resemble well... P-pregnancy. We were wonderind if it'd be possible to have a private consultation...?"

The motherly little blackbear throws her hands into the air with an enthusiastic cry. "Oh! Yes! Yes!" she says ushering the two felines in and producing a steaming tea pot from one of the odd, creator devices placed carefully around the room. "Please! Sit! Sit!" she says, gesturing toward a low table and a few small stools. "You two just wait here a moment and old Memna will be right back!" she says, placing the teapot and three little clay cups on the table, along with a little tin of cookies. She then bustles off into what appears to be a pantry or store room of some kind. "Won't be a minute!" She calls over her shoulder.

Flora nods and mumbles a tad as she takes a seat, tails twitching lightly and casting her eyes down at the ground for a bit, before she looks at the table and grabbing... Well, at least three cookies. Per hand. Seems she's having cravings again.

Matthews takes a deep breath as he sits down next to Flora, the Tomcat's hand raising slowly to rest on her shoulder as he tries to give her a comforting touch. "No need to worry, I'm here for you... I won't let them do anything you won't want them to do."

The round little priestess reappears from the storage room carrying a small, wooden box. "Here it is, Dearies," she says cheerily, settling herself onto a little stool and helping herself to a cookie. "I must say," she prattles, "The two of you make the most DARLING couple I have seen in a squirkik's age! I'm guessing that this is your first time, dear?" she asks Flora.

A mewl, a shy nod as Flora looks towards Matthews, a slight whimper, before she looks at the small, wooden box with a curious expression on her face, tails flicking behind her. Best to draw attention away from, well... Everything.

Matthews shifts his position as he gives Flora's shoulder a squeeze, and smiles as she focuses on the box before turning to Menma. "Of course, what are we going to do though? Just so we know, she is rather... Distastefull of people she's not okay with touching her, and I do want to see her as comfortable as possible Ma'am."

"Now, now," soothes Memna, "No need to be so shy, Dearie." The round little bear rests a hand over her belly, "Old Memna has had seven of her own," she smiles, forming deep smile lines around her old eyes. She shifts her smile to Matthews, "Young man," she says, "All your little lady needs to do is sit there all quiet like and I will ask the machine spirits to look in on what's happening in there," the little matron points at Flora's belly. "We can start whenever you are ready," she says, lifting the top of the little wooden box and producing a smaller white box with two little blue lights flashing on its top.

Another slight mumble, a flick of Flora's tails as she looks up at the bear in absolute disbelief. Seven? that was... A Lot. "F-Flora is okay with just one, yes... O-or two," she mutters timidly, ears folded back as she looks to Matthews for help, even though she makes sure to sit still, still mewling lightly.

Matthews just blinks at Menma as she talks about her seven kids, the thought of twins, or creators help him, triplets never having crossed his mind as he swallows a slight lump in his throat. "R-right. Well when ever you're comfortable starting Flora..." His hand moving from her shoulder, to allow his arm to gently run over her shoulders for him to give her a gentle squeeze as he nods to her.

Memna reverently carries the little box before her as she walks slowly around the table until her view of Flora is unobstructed. She shoos Matthews off his stool and out of the way, "So the spirits do get confused, Dearie," she says, before stroking a finger reverently along the top of the smooth little box. The entire surface of the box begins to glow with a soft, cool light and a soft, feminine voice issues from the creator device, speaking the strange, creator tongue, "INPUT COMMAND." The little priestess holds the box carefully before her and begins to chant in a warbly, but confident voice, the words of the chant seeming familiar, but still somehow strange. "Run general diagnostic Alpha Gamma seven!" Memna intones, with her eyes closed, a beatific calmness on her face, "subject feline female Autodetect genetic strain and save for future examinations!" As the bear's chant ends, beams of light erupt from the front end of the little box, running all over Flora's body, before focusing in on her midriff. "Commencing Scan," comes the soothing female voice of the machine spirit. "Now you just sit still and relax, Dearie," Memna says, opening her eyes and smiling at Flora, "This will only take a few moments."

A nod, a slight twitch of the tails as Flora looks at the rays of light curiously, her ears flicking as she tries to figure out everything that's going on with big eyes, sitting almost absolutely still, save for the occasional turn of her head, and a single time where she moves her hand through the beam, trying to figure out what she's dealing with. And failing, for obvious reasons.

Matthews was thankfully moved as the beams start shooting to her, the tomcat leaning forward slightly as his tail flicks behind him and tilts his head... For some reason, the beam of light above all things attracted his attention with this innate desire to pounce on it. Thankfully he kept that urge in check as he just stood there waiting for the results.

The little box gives off a pleasant chiming sound and the beams of light vanish. "Scan Complete," comes the voice of the machine spirit. Memna reverently places the device on the table. "Display readout beginning at variable Delta six," she chants, her hands placed on the sides of the device. There is another pleasant chime and the air before the little ursine matriarch is filled with a twinkling display of light! The light display looks vaguely like a chart, but the strange letters are too perfectly regular to have been penned by any being. The priestess smiles over the glimmering lights, then waves her hand through the lights, closing her eyes and intoning, "End Scan, archive session and initiate sleep mode!"
