True to his word at least, the caller gone, they all start to blink, looking at each other. Between the calming scents and feelings braught about by Siyu though, their confusion does not bring about further mischief. "What... what were we doing?" Says one, "The animals! The Golems! Quick, anyone hurt, get to the farm house, everyone else... oh by the creators, we need to get them out of the stone domes and... the crops!! The fields! This will take forever to fix!! He felt a bit bad about it, but it'll probably work itself out. "Ya all try an' tend to the wounded. I'll 'ead off an' give a report." Strapping his buckler upon his back once more, he heads off towards Mira's direction to discuss the recent events. |

It was a very very unusal night on the farm. Normally beings would be working to shut down the few golems and such that the farm uses to help keep everything going, put the animals in the barns. However, there was no work going on at all. A lone bull stands conversing with a wide hipped bixen in priestess garb. She nods along with what he says to her, then looks out over the field, looking back again and discussing a bit more.
Fenris arrives at the farm, in a gust of wind. He had come as quickly as he could when he had recieved the call. Looking around, he is surprised to see everything so peaceful. "Mirana!" he calls, seeing the priestess and hurrying over.
Rahn comes stumping after Fenris. "I was jusht having a little fun," he slurs. The Rhino has obviously been in his cups. He staggers to a halt right behind the tiger, nearly running him down. "No need to drag me out here in the middle o' the night."
Hearing rumor of an odd occurance down at the farm, Dio makes his way towards the location in haste. Certainly beats how he was spending his holiday. Arriving on the scene, the lion lets out a loud yawn, perhaps indicating just how he spent the day's precious hours. Without taking much time to look about, he walks towards the conversing pair and joins up with Fenris and Rahn. "Gooood..." He pauses for another booming yawn, "... evenin' lads and lasses. Got some problem out 'ere?"
Siyu coughs a little bit, he was drinking too, but he got drug along by the large drunk rhino who thinks he's a girl. Well he's pretty enough, but apparantly he's a damsel in distress as he's drug along. Giving a faint little cough as he recognizes...Mirana! Oh thank the creators.
Alef follows behind the group, taking it slow and bringing up the rear, giving Mirana a nod of greeting and the others as well. "It was close so I thought id come see if I could help, whats going on out here?" Looking around curiously and leaning on her staff.
Fenris looks back to see that Rahn, despite expressly being told not to, has dragged poor little Siyu along. He sighs heavily, and shrugs at the little rodent. Turning to Rahn he says exhasperatedly, "Just try to behave yourself." He greets the others as they come.
Mirana looks out at those coming up, "Oh thank Shaila we have more help Mr McKoren." She says, giving a curtsy around to everyone. "And yes Dio, there has been some-" sniff sniff. She holds her nose and turns away, "Solacious love the drink, but goodness, Rahn, Siyu, are you sure you are ok to be out here?" She asks. The large bull snorts a bit, Mira shaking her head softly, "It matters little, Oh, good Alef! Thank you all sweeties, I'll be staying here to discuss things with Mr McKoren about what could possibly be the cause of what he is seeing, what he needs you all to do is simply... well... bring in the animals, shut down the golems, and ... bring in the farm hands as well." She says, looking back to the imposing, tall, Heavy Clanned bull. He snorts and nods, very odd to see someone so powerful looking in farming garb.
Rahn grins stupidly, the drink talking through him. "The little lady WANTED to come, didn't you lass?" he slurs. The finally notices the others. "Ya didn't say we was goin to a party!" Rahn perks up significantly. And
Rahn grins stupidly, the drink talking through him. "The little lady WANTED to come, didn't you lass?" he slurs. The finally notices the others. "Ya didn't say we was goin to a party!" Rahn perks up significantly. "And this is the game, right?"
Siyu ahmes a little bit, "I am fine to be out here, and I'll tell you agian, fine sir, I am not a lady..." he chitters once more, his face beet red, but he's tagging along in his leathers, giving a gentle little huff as Rahn thinks he's found a date.
While Dio didn't seem to smell of alcohol like some of the other group members, Dio seems to wobble in place ever so slightly, eyes half-open and not too focused on one thing or another. He continues to yawn on occasion as Mira speaks and tries to snap too attention at the conclusion. "Ah... Yes! O' course. Shut down the farm 'ands, bring in the gollems... Easy 'nough. But somethin' seems to be strange 'ere... Don't matter none. Let's get started I guess."
Bring in the farm hands? That was the second strangest thing Fenris had heard all day. "What do you mean, Mirana?" he asks. Where ARE the farm hands?" And the animals and the golems, now that he is thinking about it.
Alef sighs lightly. "Farm work huh? Simple enough." nodding as she looks at the others. "Oh dear..." just looking amused and annoyed by the state of the others, atleast Fenris and Dio seem to be ok to work.
Mirana points out over the field. It is quite dark, only the half moon there to cast light for everyone. It is easy to see the golems continuing their work, there must be a lot less golems then were first thought, some of those must be the farm hands. But then again, there is an almost innumeral amount of livestock out there, much more then has ever been seen before. Seems there is little to do but to get the work done before what light there is has passed.
Rahn says, "Ahahaha!" Rahn laughs loudly, " A roundup!" He claps his thick hands and sets out across the field, dragging Siyu behind him. "Come on, lass!" he shouts, "we'll show 'em how it's done!""
Siyu grunts a bit as he's drunk along, "All right, livestock, um, but first we should ask for sorting priority, do they call go to the barn, togeher? Do they go into different areas, wait for instruction!"
Perhaps he could get some answers later. A bit of manual labor in the dead of the evening should be enough to wake the sleepy lion up. Dio rolls his shoulders and gives his fingers a good popping to prepare himself for the task at hand. "Still a bit sore," he comments, pulling his coat down a bit, "But we better get to movin'. I don' know much 'bout gollems, so I'll try an' do my best with the animals." The lion nods to the others and heads over to the nearest stray animal, doing his best to gently guide it towards its appropriate holding area.
Fenris shakes his head at his rhino friend's antics. Turning to Mirana he says, "I'll see if I can't help these two get the animals moving back toward the barn." With that, he launches himself across the fields with tightly controlled air magic, drawing on some fire math to create a nimbus of light around himself. If neccessary, he could also shut down or operate the golems once he got there.
Alef looks around at the darkening night, holding out her hand, focusing some as she does a familure equation, making a ball of fire appear in her hand, but instead of throwing it she holds it above her palm, following Siyu and Rahn, luminating there efforts to round up the animals.
Siyu gives a faint little huff and he looks around for...well, a toch, or a latern. THis is a farm right? There should be a torch to go along with the pitchfork
Rahn barrels throug the waving grasses of the fields, the cool night air granting him some alertness, if no real clarity of thought. As he draws near the closest of the farm animals he drops Siyu's hand to start clapping and waving. "Ha! Beastie!" he shouts, expecting to get the creature moving toward its safe barn.
Out in the fields it is quickly evident what was meant by 'bring the farm hands in'. The only ones standing and doing work are the golems themselves! All around are cows, bulls, chickens, pigs, grazing, scratching at the ground, rolling in the dirt. There was just one major problem. A very loud clucking, but it wasn't coming from a chicken. Rather, it was coming from from a minx, a feline being! She had her arms folded and flapping like wings while she dug at the dirt with her feet, leaning down to... peck at the ground? A loud bellowing from... an allagater being? He takes a large bite of grass and starts to chew on it. Between Siyu's huffing and Rahn's blosterious shouting and clapping both beast and being scatter to the four winds across the field.
Fenris stares down at the strange spectacle below him. What on earth was going on here?! Seeing the beasts and beings scatter he makes a snap decision and throws about a bit of fire magic to flash brilliantly to cut off those heading in the wrong direction.
Siyu blinks a little bit as everyone runs around and he tilts his head, "IS that...is that normal" he asks, and his hand moves to his soul pendant, he clutches it hard, "I think someone was playing a joke on these poor beings...but I didn't think you could get the soul of a pure beast..."
Alef blinks as the situation becomes apparent. "Ok... You two hold up a minate!" Calling out to Rahn "Stop you big olf!" Frowning and looking confused back toward the rhino farmer and Mirana. but doing her best to limit there fleeing as well.
"Alright now," Dio comments, moving closer to a supposed animal. "Let's get ya... Huh?" As the lion gets closer and closer to the true scene, his eyes are met with a rather curious sight. "This is awfully strange," he comments under his breath, taking a close examination of the alligator especially. However, such investigation would be put on hold after things seem to head down the drain. "WHAT 'RE YA DOIN', LADS," he calls out. "Yer gonna scare 'em with all that loud noise an' fire!" The lion quickly fumbles with his soul pendent and changes out his gems, now in wait for the new information to transfer.
Rahn stands and stares slack-jawed as he sees that what he had thought was a cow was, in fact, a large alligator man. Totally bemused, thanks to the situation and the alcohol, he just stands for a moment, at a loss for what to do next.
All around are running beasts and beings, fire flying off away from the barn. Escape closed off, they turn and start running the direct other way... and in toward Rahn, Dio, Alef, Siyu, and Fenris!! The bulls, and those who think themselves bulls, have their heads lowered, many a hoof, claw, paw, and tallon ready to try and trample over the would be farm workers. The golems however, busy themselves with putting out the fires to prevent their spreading!
Things were getting worse and worse! After the soul's information finally flooded his mind, Dio begins to prepare a few earth magic calculations. While he may not be able to get them all the "animals" in their rampage, it's a good first step. "'ere we go!" With some effort, he unleashes some earth magic, hoping to surround the enranged individuals in domes of earth.
Fenris drops to the ground by Rahn and Siyu, knowing full well that Rahn could never get out of there in his addled state. He summons up his knowledge of earth magic and casts up two solid walls to funnel the stampeding animals and beings around their huddled threesome.
Siyu chitters a bit, "This is...this is wrong, mortals should be in control of themselves what...what would do this." he looks very distrubed as the action happens around him, the small rodent f or hte most part just tryign to stay out of the way as magic and chasing goes down, waiting til there's a moment of calm to investigate.
The wall of stone does its job for the most part, though it breaks apart after the fourth slam against it, though by then Dio's work has done its trick, the near farmhands trapped in domes of earth. That however, does not stop the rest of the actual animals! Trampling through and over the small Siyu as they go! Meanwhile, the rest of the farm is still in chaos from what was done before. Chickens, ducks, pigs, beings, this has become the funny farm more then anything!
Rahn jumps a little as Fenris alights next to him and starts working his earth math. Seeing what the tiger is trying to do, he snatches Siyu up and holds him close. "Don't worry miss!" he says, "I'll protect ya!"
Alef looks stunned as the stampeed begins, watching the beings and animals turn and run the two down! looking agast and horrified at the sight. Unsure what she can do to help.
Siyu was hoping the rhino knew what to do...and it doesn't look as if things are going to go his way, giving a little ghasp as he tucks behidn the rhino, attempting to hind behind his bulk to at least not get gored in the face.
Dio takes a look at his work and smiles. Seems the situation wasn't resovled, but they were getting there. The lion takes a bit of time to think it over, and the solution he found was to simply keep repeating what he did previously until the chaos winds itself down. With some more earth magic calculations, he once again attempts to trap any remaining chargers he possibly can in more domes of earth. "Is there a creator device o' somethin causin' all this," he idly comments before unleashing his earth magic.
That could have gone better. Fenris casts aside the earth walls he was maintaining and hurries to administer what little first aid is at his disposal. Stupid drunk rhino! dragging Siyu out there.
Rahn rolls off of the battered little kangaroo rat after the stampede has passed them by. Rolling on his back proves to be a bad choice as the scrapes and bashes and maybe some broken bits get rattled by the movement. Good thing he wore his armor everywhere. Who knows what could have happened otherwise.
More domes of dirt and stone around animals this time, but it gets harder and harder to do the more Dio does it. At this point he's managed to encase about half what was saw before they all scattered. Those so encased seem to be calming down with little to do other then wait until they were out, though those most recently so continue to try and work against their prisons.
Alef figures out the best way to help direct the stampede is with earth, as well, using her own earth magic to aid dio's efforts, following the lion's lead, her magic helping his.
Fenris quickly administers first aid to the trampled rhino and rodent. Nothing seems broken, and he is able to patch up the worst of their cuts and scrapes. "Stay here," he says, standing and scanning the fields. It seems like Dio and Alef are getting the animals and farmhands under control. Perhaps it was time to take a look at the golems. Leaving the two invalids to rest for a while, Fenris dashes off to see what he can do about the golems, slipping a new soul gem into his pendant.
Siyu coughs a bit, "I wasn't cut out for this..." he mummers as hes rescued and bandaged, now more then happy to stay in the back and away from everything. Let everyone else handle this, this isn't for him!
With only half the animals in their small prisons, Dio was starting to lose a bit of faith for continuing his actions. Rather, he might have to search for the soultion to end everything for good, without killing everyone obviously. "FOX LASS," he shouts over to Mira, "IS THERE SOME KIND O' CREATOR ARTIFACT AT WORK 'ERE? WE GOTTA TURN IT OFF!" Hoping that might be the case, Dio feels himself being supported a bit my Alef and decides to summon up his willpower for some more earth magic domes!
Rahn carefully sits up and pokes a little at his bruised ribs. He cringes a little bit as he crawls over to slump next to Siyu. "Sorry 'bout all that," he grunts,"'sa terrible party."
Alef continues forming barrers and walls, the ground grumbling and rumbling with each of her efforts working with Dio's, trying to seperate the animals and farm hands, while still leading the animals toward the barn.
Mirana was far out of range to hear with everyone out in the field they way they were, along with all the noise. It was perhaps a hinderance as well that she was still discussing things with Mr. McKoren. Dio's work seems to continue to be effective, but the last one isn't quite enough to hold the bull within, breaking through the earth and charging for the would be heros! With the exception of this one and a few chickens, they are all contained, now, how to get them to the barn and the farm hands safe... while avoiding te bull that seems intent on protecting his herd.
Things were calming down, but that bull continues to be quite the problem. Rather than trying to trap the rampaging individual, Dio attempts to stop him altogether. With a bit of earth magic, he surrounds his fist in some strong earth with a dirt buffer underneath to protect it and charges at the bull! Perhaps a crazy idea, but what's a little crazy to combat crazy? Rearing his fist back, he roars out and throws it directly at the bull's face, hoping to connect with a knockout blow!
Fenris skips to a halt and looks over the farm golems. They've done an excellent job of putting out the fires. Good machines, these. Fenris calls up his knowledge of golem control and sends out the complex math sequence that should shut the golems down for the night.
Fenris is quite successful in shutting down the golems, them now ready to easily be braught in for the night. Meanwhile, Dio's Falcon Stone Punch does its trick, putting the bull down on his rump firmly. A small handful of chickens is all that remains to be even remotely dealt with, but they aren't really causing any real issues. What to do now...
Rahn looks out over the trampled field at the few fluttering chickens and the dazed bull. He was finally feeling a bit more sober, but there was a reason no one ever recommended 'get trampled' as a home remedy for drunkeness. He looks down at Siyu, huddled on the ground next to him. "I'm really, really sorry," he slurs, "Can we try another date sometime?"
After the successful stone enhanced knockout blow, Dio releases the earth covering his hand and allows it to crackle to the floor in a heap from which it came. "Ooh! Ow!" The lion exclaims, shaking his fist to help get rid of some of the pain from such a punch. "Try not to cause so much ruckus," he says, giving his fist a good rubbing. "We gotta try an' investigate to shut down whatever's causin' 'em to act so funny. I'm gonna try an' ask the farmer an' fox lass." Turning around, the lion heads back from where he came and walks up to the farmer and Mira should they still be there. "'ello. We got some talkin' to do. Got some beings actin' all funny an' actin' like... well, animals ya see. Do ya 'ave any idea what may 'ave caused somethin' like this? Did ya recieve anythin' funny? A creator artifact somewhere maybe?"
Alef sighs softly as she moves to round up the chickens, having little trouble shooing them toward the barn with small displays of earth magic, doing her best to finish the round up before anything else happens.
Fenris gives a nod to the dormant golems. Working perfectly. He hurries back across the field to where Dio is standing over a very dazed looking bull, switching out his soul gem again as he goes. He catches the end of Dio's questions to Mirana. "Has anyone seen anything like this before?" he asks, "A bunch of beings all losing it together like this?"
Siyu shakes his head, "It seems as if their souls are all...mixed. Can you check and see what gems they have?" he shouts out , from the back./
Mirana looks to Dio a moment, then back over to the bull farmer. "A creator artifact? Whatever would such an artifact be and what for? No, there would no reason. Mr. McKoren says he's had some unusual beings visiting however. Maybe you could find trail of them? Also, have all the animals and golems been put into the barn?" She asks.
While Dio and Fenris are gone however, a stranged cloaked figure comes out to Siyu, Alef, and Rahn. He looks at them all, moving his hood just enough to show his forehead, very few other features easily seen,

While Dio and Fenris are gone however, a stranged cloaked figure comes out to Siyu, Alef, and Rahn. He looks at them all, moving his hood just enough to show his forehead, very few other features easily seen, "Now, isn't this interesting? Wouldn't you all say? So, tell me, whatever brings you all out to this mess?" He asks, though something very very strange was about this being, it feels almost as if cloaked eyes could see beyond what was hidden by flesh, behind what most kept chained away.
"I don't know much 'bout creator artifacts," Dio claims, still rubbing at his fist, "But what I do know is that they're crazy! I remember runnin' into a strange on' makin' music an' forcin' beings to dance. I'd believe on' could make 'em act like this." However, the comment about a strange visitors seems to draw his attention. "Well that's certainly interestin'. Must be those visitors. We're just 'bout done with the farm 'ands and such, so we'll try an' find those visitors." The lion digs into his shirt and pulls out his soul pendent, swaping out the gems and making his way back towards the others.
Siyu practically feels like he got punched in the head, he stumbles a bit, and he turns quickly, his fingers are fast, and sure. While he was nervous and fumbling before now there's a quick sense of purpose, his gem flies out, and soon a new red one is socketed. A click heard as he feels the power of the soul rush into him, face serious...
Rahn looks up at the stranger and struggles to stand. "Who're you?" he slurs, his vision still swimming a little from his combined drunkeness and blunt force trauma. He feels funny, like someone just opened up the back of his head and peeked where they shouldn't.
Alef turns as the strange figure appears and speeks, the sudden feeling of intrusion in the back of her head makes her eyes widen, clamping down on the intrusion as her eyes narrow. "I dont know who you are but I suggest you explain yourself now before I get hostile." The orb of fire shes been holding for this whole experance starting to burn hotter, growing to a true firebolt in her palm, shimmers of heat raising from around her, one of her souls powers ready to go on a moments notice as she makes no move to make good any hostile actions. yet. she could be talked down, maybe.
Fenris follows after Dio, intent on finding out what had caused this. He wasn't sure if he wanted to destroy the thing or 'borrow' it. He could imagine all sorts of useful things to do with such a thing, if it were reversible.
The clocked figure smiles, "Now now, just a friend you don't know you had, but if we insist on getting violent, I'm sure I could find a few of my other friends to play with you." He says, looking around, and turning his back to the potential heros. The farmhands trapped in domes of earth become suddenly very active, bashing against the stone prisons, "Oh dear, it seems my other friends would like to play, you'd best either calm them down or let them out before they hurt themselves in there." He starts to walk away as the stone walls are bashed against... a few... very horrible sounds of bones breaking as the stone prisons crack under the vigerous assults from the inside.
Meanwhile, up at the farm house, Mira and McKoren look to Dio and Fenris, "What exactly is going on down there anyway?" Mira asks, still not fully understanding the situation, only what McKoren had told her.
Fenris turns back to Mirana and the farmer. "Didn't he tell you?" he asks. "The farmhands were all acting like animals!" he says, "Chickens and cows and pigs. Dio managed to trap them, but they had no control of themselves. We need to find out what is affecting them, so we can let them free again."
Siyu grunts hard at the fellow. A being that can get into his head, beyond his soul gem is too powerful to b e a regular mortal, and the rodent will pull out a heavy caliber firearm, and he'll aim it, point it. Every fiber of his being wants to just...pull the trigger. But it's a being of thought, a being of...reason? Damn it all he has to talk to him, prehaps love can find a way here too. His anger falters and he lowers the weapon, "Wait, stop...why are you doing this, what is your goal. What are you trying to acomplish!?"
Rahn staggers painfully to his feet. "Now, now there's no need fer hurtin' anybody" he cries out as he hears the trapped farmhands throwing themselves against their prisons. "I'm sure we can work this out!"
After a good amount of walking, Dio finds himself where the rest of the group is and cringes after he hears the animals rattle in their cages, more than likely injuring themselves. "Grrr..." he growls under his breath, looking towards the cloaked figure. "I'm in the wrong soul... Someone use some earth magic to free 'em. Better escaped an' crazy than possibly breakin' their necks." Reaching to his hip, he draws out his sword and buckler, ready for a possible fight. "Is this yer doin'? Remove that hood o' yers, lad. Ya ain't usin' a creator artifact, are ya? O' perhaps yer aligned to on' o' the old ones?"
Alef nods to Dio. "on it." Not once taking a eye off this stranger as she works the earth math needed to break open the earth domes, the shimmers of fire math waiting to be launched as a volly of flaming arrows at the moment she speeks the last word of her equation.
Fenris walks up behind Dio and looks to the others. At least no one seems to be in worse shape than they were. "Let me help, Alef," he says, seeing his friend's intense concentration. He reaches out with his own earth magic to make the cages soft and brittle so they would break apart without hurting the struggling beings.
The prisons shattering open, the battered and bleeding beings move to bar the path to the cloaked figure, "So useful, making sure lots of little ideas where in these few before putting them to work." He says, the farm hands all shouting things about not hurting their friend, that they will die first, or kill before he is harmed. "Now, I'll make you a deal, you stay right there, and don't move, and when I'm safely gone, they will all be just fine, except their physical wounds. Try to follow me at all and they will be very very unhappy." He says, not answering questions, just turning and walking away.
Rahn staggers a little. He doesn't think he could follow if he wanted. All three of the men in black robes were too wobbly for him to get a lock on. "Now jus' hold on a second," he rumbles, "Just who're you supposed to be anyway?"
Without paying too much attention to the deal, the lion lowers his sword a bit and frowns. "'re ya 'ne o' those Technologists?" Dio questions, wondering just what he should do in the situation. Perhaps if they all worked together, they could non-lethally take down all the farm hands... Might be tough though. "Only a Technologist would use innocents to conduct somethin' like this. Rest assured, no matter where ya go, we're gonna find ya, 'specially after ya hurt a friend o' mine."
Fenris stares at the retreating figure and something he read in recent writings on the spirits comes to mind. "Siyu," he says quietly, "now would be an excellent time to Call for Help." He looks at the little rodent intently, "You might mention that Olg'ish is hurting people." He raises his voice so that the retreating figure can hear. "And what will you write in that little black book about us?" he calls.
Siyu blinks a little bit, "Shalia, can I..." he thinks hard he thinks the words at least, Olg'ish is hurting people, can you help us? The thought is loud, but unsure. Since he doesn't know who that is, but he tursts Fenris to know what he's talking about at least.
The figure just continues to walk away, saying nothing back. Using a wall of beings to cover his leaving. Though he stops a moment, "Call for help? I wouldn't do that either, you'll see me again sometime, just remember, a friend you didn't know you had." He says, and, continues to walk over the country side. He wasn't intent on fighting with a spirit of life, nor having to call his own patron. He wouldn't be baited in staying any longer, an exit was what he needed.
A slight tugging on Siyu's ear, and a great wet sound as space seems to open just behind and below the rat, hands being the first to come up and embrass him, "You have called and I have come." Says a disembodied voice before he pulls himself fully out and hugging on Siyu. With the caller gone though, there isn't much he can do, "Oh dear caller, you already know what you need to do. Just let your calmness over these troubled ones, they will soon be well, but I'll be sure to tell my brother of this." says Shaila, looking over where the other caller had gone, "He will know what to do." she says.
Oglers? Rahn thinks the tiger must be drunk too. There are no oglers here. Sure, Rahn had eyed up the pretty rat girl, but that didn't mean he had oggled her. Damn, his ribs hurt.
Alef frowns as she watches the being walk. the temptation to unleash flaming arrows so hard to stamp down, the thought of opening a hole under him, or summoning a cutting gale... she just sighs, droping her arm to her side, the flames spuddering out and disappearing, casting the area in the shroud of night again. "Damn it." grumbling as she starts walking back toward the city, tail tucked low between her legs. "no friend of mine you bastard."
Siyu feels the warmth come over him and he sucks in a breath at the sensation. It really is hard to get used to the warmth that comes with the calling and he nods his head, "Thank you for coming then, I hope the information helps..." he mummers as he looks back over to the others, and finaly he'll just holster his weapon, and go to see what he can do to help the famr hands.
Fenris watches the smug figure vanish into the darkness even as Shaila appears. He turns and bows to the Spirit. This is the first time he has seen her in person. "Greetings and welcome, Shaila of the Life Court," he says. He has actually spent a lot of time trying to decide how he would address each spirit if confronted. "I am sorry that we called you too late to stop that caller's mischief," he says. He looks to where he last saw the being and shakes his head. A powerful caller of Olg'ish. That was going to be a problem sooner rather than later.
"A friend?" Dio scoffs and spits at the ground, perhaps kicking up a little dust with his feet as well for emphasis. "Ya 're on' o' those Technologists, ain't ya? We're gonna get ya fer what ya did to a lioness friend o' mine an' many more beings. Ya can count on it, lad." Hearing the talk of spirits and old ones, the lion lowers his head and looks towards the others, the problem no longer within his domain. With a growl of frustration, he sheathes his sword with a mighty slam and lowers his buckler.
Rahn feels a great warmth rise up within him at the appearance of Shaila. He turns and gazes on her with what can only be called adoration. "Creators," he whispers, dropping to his knees. He felt. . . good. Warm. Loved.
Shaila nods softly, hugging over Siyu, wrapping his many tails around him a moment before setting him back down, sinking back into the hole that had spawned him. Echoing in the minds around however, [Well meet everyone, and thank you for the welcome.] As he leaves the farmhands look over everyone, Siyu coming up to them. Who did this!?" Seemed things for the most part would be able to sort themselves out, if slowly. Though a bit more help may be needed to get this section of the farms back in working order once more.
"The golems are fine!" he calls out, waving in the direction of the offline mechanicals, "They just need to be stored" Fenris sets himself to helping the addled farm workers sort themselves out and patch up their injured. The early crop from this particular field were probably lost, but with a little help, everything would be back on track in no time. Fenris was not about to forget about Olg'ish and his caller though. Perhaps it was time to pay another visit to that water serpent. Maybe he would be more forthcoming now that Fenris had met with callers for three of the corrupt court.
Rahn turns to Siyu. "Who was that?" he asks reverently. "I feel like I should know her." He continues to pester Siyu about Shaila.
Siyu is a calming influence, the worries and the shouts of the farm hands as they come back to their senses are shushed a little bit by Siyu. He nods his head, "It's all right, this was a rough and very hard night for a lot of you, but it's just...a little damage. You have each other to help, you have us to help, so just take a breath and calm yourselves. You've all been treated very roughly tonight, you shoudl all come to get treated, healed and have a full nights rest..." he chitters a little bit.
Siyu looks back at Rahn, "That was Shalia of course..." he sage nods
Dio seems to get a bit spooked after a voice suddenly echos within his head, jumping in place with a minor start. A wave of calm flowing across the immediate area, the lion's anger subsides after a few deep breaths. "We'll 'ave to track 'em down later," he says, rolling the shoulder he punched a poor bull with. He felt a bit bad about it, but it'll probably work itself out. "Ya all try an' tend to the wounded. I'll 'ead off an' give a report." Strapping his buckler upon his back once more, he heads off towards Mira's direction to discuss the recent events.
