Noonday in Firmament, and the sun's heat beats down upon the streets, keeping them clear. Most beings are either away at lunch or noonday mass, and yet a solitary figure eschews the comfort of shade and winds her way down through the Castle District. Stopping in front of the gates of Solacious Manor, a certain goshawk appears to be having a rather lengthy discussion with the gate guards. It's not clear exactly what's being discussed, but there seems to be quite a bit of consternation going on.
In this heat, even soldiers were trying to stay cool. Angus sighs as he trys to cool himself with a fan, walking by the main gate before he notices a familar set of feathers and stops in place. "Oh...Hello Sveta." The fox mutters, taking a step up to the guard post as he crosses his arms and frowns. Still rather upset by their last encounter.
At the mere sound of Angus' voice, Sveta looks up from her argument with the gate guards and jabs a finger in his direction. "See! There he is! Lord Ictus gave me a dispensation to be here, so either you're babbling on about something you have no idea about, or you're just trying to get me to go away. I wonder, which is which?" The gate guards look rather sheepish but slink back to their posts, and thus vindicated, Sveta turns the full force of her attention upon Angus. "Ah, Lord Solacious. Just the being I needed to see. Your sister asked me to speak with you."
Angus blinks, and his ears fold back. ...great, another chat with the Goshawk. He wanted to tell her no, wanted to make her leave...but if his sister wanted her to talk to him... "Alright then, what is it." He sighs, turning to start walking to the manor as he speaks. "But can we talk inside, as it is rather hot out here."
Sveta eyes Angus suspiciously, but ruffles her feathers and follows him back into the manor. Once they're comfortably in the shade, she looks around to make sure there aren't any servants around to eavesdrop, then clears her throat and begins. "Yes. Don't get me wrong, Angus Solacious. I still don't want to speak to, or see you of my own violition.
