Upon arriving at the castle and inquiring on seeing the creator in residence, the guards ask Flora to remain in the well appointed lobby while they check to see if she is available. The wait isn't terribly long, and the one that had gone off returns, "She's been expecting you, follow me."

Flora nods and mumbles a tad. Her golem by her side, though properly disarmed. Anything that could be considered hazardous has been disabled with a few magical seals that should take a few minutes of active focus to disable. On her are only a few objects, ranging from her multitool, a trio of pictures of the creator-spell in Selena's basement, her Scorcher and Sacred Doctor, along with a few other small trinkets she tends to carry around.

The guard obediently guides Flora along until they reach a small door with two other guards in atttendance. Their manner of dress is subtly different, and they look Flora over much more discerningly. "Please have your golem remain in the hallway."

Flora nods and gestures for Bastet to remain in its place, her tails twitching lightly as the cat-golem takes a seat on the floor and Flora moves on. She mentally notes away the subtle differences in the clothing of the guards, before waiting for further instructions. "Anything else Flora needs to do?"

They pull open the door for Flora and gesture her inside. Within is.. an empty room, save for a small bench and a small table. "She will be along shortly," assures a guard before the door closes, leaving Fauna to stand in silent solitude.

Well. That wasn't what Flora was expecting. Even so, the cat moves to the bench to take a seat, sorting out her few items and laying them on the table. Each set of objects is placed in a specific spot, orderly arranging the different pictures of the spell, her scorcher to the side, while she waits, looking at the door... Curiously, and somewhat nervously. Somehow, she would've expected the doctor to have... More things.

About ten minutes of quiet waiting before the door opens, admitting the form of the creator doctor known as Sinclair. She's changed fashions. Instead of her clean white lab coat, she's gone for a significantly baggier, colorful, local dress of sorts. It seems more proper to a courtier. "Thank you." she says to the guards outside before closing the door.

Flora, on the other hand, is wearing her work-outfit, although properly cleaned and spruced up to be presentable. She offers a polite, short nod towards the doctor, mumbling a tad. "Flora has... A few questions Flora would like to ask, if that's okay?" she mumbles softly, looking at her collected items and then back to the Creator-doctor. "A few things about Flora, some hings about Creator-technology, and some other things, yes."

She holds up a finger, "I will not disclose any technological information you are not already aware of." she says in a flat warning tone, "What is your first question?" She moves to stand next to the table and pats it, as if summoning the family dog, though she is looking at Flora.

"Flora... Does not want to know how things work... Flora just wants to know about this," she mumbles, holding up the scorcher. "Flora thinks it shoots... Light, yes? But Flora can't use mirrors... Flora's been shooting it at mirrors, but... It only shoots for short times and damages the mirror, yes... Flora was wondering if there's a way to make it shoot without doing damage and not stop in between?" she offers softly, offering her prized posession up to the doctor... "If... If Doctor Sinclair doesn't mind telling Flora if that's possible and if so, how, Flora would appreciate it, yes."

The doctor reaches to accept the device, then sets it down on the table and draws out a strange egg like device of her own. She twists her fingers over its surface while running it back and forth over the scorcher. Thin beams of light run across the device as other light dances across the face of the creator, "Fascinating." She says before reaching to start... dismantling the scorcher, pulling parts off as if she planned to perform upkeep on it.

A mumble, a twitch of Flora's tail as she looks over the device, blinking a few times. Even so, she doesn't react just yet, simply observing the proceedings and mentally storing the procedure in her mind as she keeps an eye on every part and action.

Soon she has it down to a tube with the trigger poking out of it. She twists off the back end, a terrible sin! No one but the highest of machine priests should ever open that! But then, she is a creator? She pops out a small silverish disc, then turns it to look inside the cavity she's created. She brings in the egg and with a squeeze it becomes a long slender screwdriver with which she begins to poke around inside, "Was this given to you in this state?"

Flora shakes her head. "It was... More broken, yes... Flora carefully replaced these parts," she mumbles, pointing at a few objects, and rummaging through her pockets to pull out identical, though burnt-out parts... "Flora got it with these in there, yes," she mumbles, looking at the device curiously. These are steps she's going to have to remember, possibly. "Is... Is something wrong with it?"

"Only more laws broken," she says, sounding vaguely amused. She gives a twist of the poking device and several soft clicks are heard from within it. She then replaces the disc, and reseals the chamber. She deftly spins the weapon to point at Flora and squeezes the trigger. Creators preserve! A small red dot appears on Flora's chest harmlessly. "The company that constructed these made the news a long time ago. They teach about it in college as a warning myth about quality control. They sent out millions of units of pointers that had been set to the maximum rating instead of the minimum, resulting in untold damages across the stars."

Flora's eyes go wide for a moment, before she grins broadly, her ears flicking. "Before Flora makes mistakes, are there things Flora needs to make sure of? Flora... Flora saw the damage it did before, Flora is going to assume Flora probably shouldn't point it at beings?" she asks after a moment of consideration, her ears flicking lightly.

"Flora's next two questions are from a friend of Flora, yes," she mumbles, gesturing at the photographs of a Creator-spell. "Friend Selena was wondering what this spell does and what it would be used for, yes," she mumbles, pulling out a little notepad to scribble some notes of herself.

"It is a bright light," she says, "Don't point it at eyes or look into it." She says in a bored tone. She sets the tool down, not reassembling it back into its gun shape. She moves to accept the photograph next, frowning at it and mumbling something her translator can't quite get a grasp on. "If you were sent here to colonize, you should have been made familiar with this. Your work must have been tripled if you were working without it."

"Flora... Would imagine beings might've known what it did in the past? Knowledge... Knowledge can be lost, yes?" she offers after a moment of thought, before pointing at the scorcher. "Beings don't know how those work, either... Could be a similar case, yes?"

"Yes." She agrees flatly as she turns the paper about, perhaps to get a better look at what is drawn on it. "I can't quite see it all, but this appears to be a farming procedure. Placed at the center of an agricultural plot and properly stimulated, it would hasten the growth of the specified vegetation while hindering all others."

Flora nods and looks at the spells curiously. "Asking how it would work would not do Flora any good, but... Flora thanks miss Sinclair, and will inform friend Selena. Flora has... Three more questions... They are more... Personal, yes."

"Friend Selena says... Friend Selena can't have children, and doesn't know why... Friend Selena wants to know if it's possible to help her without relying on lots of herbs, yes... Because of other effects they may have, yes yes."

"And Flora can't do most magic... Flora can't do fire, earth, water, or air... Never could, no... Flora doesn't know why, and would like to know."

She raises a brow, skipping the first question for the second, "How you perform spontaneous *unknown word* calculations is a matter of keen curiosity on my part, but it is unknown at this time. The CREATORs that designed you were inspired, and perhaps insane." She makes strange motions with her fingers, the same sort she made while watching Flora those weeks ago, "I will require your blood. Perhaps there is *unknown word* markers that will shed light on it."

Flora nods and mumbles, her ears folded back at the notion of blood, though she offers a hesitant nod soon after. "O-okay," she mumbles after another hesitant nod, her tails curling around one of her legs. "If... If it's needed, yes," she mumbles softly, nodding again. "A-and friend Selena's question? Or... Is that something Flora can't learn about yet?"

The doctor moves around the table, her egg-shaped multi tool changing into a strange new configuration which she uses to poke Flora with. A mild pinch, and she seems satisfied. "My experience with reproductive medicines is limited, and you are not the species I was trained with regardless. If she wishes to be inspected for obvious physical impediments, bring her here. Advanced techniques are ill advised with equipment not made specifically with your bodies in mind."

Flora nods and yelps lightly at the pinch, her fur puffing up, and she's stuck hissing for a moment, before calming down. Attacking a creator would be... Bad for her image, obviously. "Flora... Flora apologizes. Flora... Doesn't appreciate being touched, no... And Flora will tell Friend Selena, yes," she mumbles after brushing her fur down, tails flicking behind her. "Flora's last question is more... An offer of sorts, yes," she mumbles, rummaging through her inner pockets and pulling out a hand-written letter. "Flora... Flora would like to invite Doctor Sinclair to Flora's Lifebonding, yes," she offers, tails twitching behind her.

She mouths the word back, then 'ah', "Your LIFEBONDING." The word clearly translated from whatever creater word she just said that was not exactly the same. "You are not the first to extend the invitation. My presence would take focus away from you. You will get three times as many, but the extras will be there to see me." She says with the tone of polite refusal.

"Flora... Understands. But Flora was actually thinking of keeping it small, anyways, yes. All guests would have to let Flora know they are coming beforehand, yes." she mumbles after a moment of contemplation. "Flora understands, though, yes. Flora would like to be informed if Doctor Sinclair figures out why Flora can't do magic, yes yes... Flora has no further questions, no. And... Flora would like to thank doctor Sinclair."

The doctor gives a strange motion. Perhaps a creator gesture of welcome? But then she is departing from whence she came.
