It is hot and humid in the quickly darkening twilight of the Eastbank Forest, even here in the clearing where the altar to the Spirits of the Life Court lies. Aside from the rough, stone edifice, there is nothing to differentiate this clearing from any other, or this night from any other. All is quiet, aside from the chirping of insects and the occasional call of a night bird.

It wasn't a terribly long trip from firmament to the spirit shrine, maybe slightly treacherous, but Lucy could handle herself in the short trip. She found herself in the looking at the statue of the fertility spirit, Shaila, her hands resting on her own stomach. "Creators, if there was ever a time I needed a spirit it's now." She looks around first before approaching it closer and kneeling down in front of the spirit. "I don't know if you can hear me, but if you're there, I'd like to meet you Shaila."

There is a tearing sound, like wet paper and suddenly there is someone else there. A warm purplish glow surounds the pleasantly plump fox man. . . woman? Despite their apparent nudity, the figure's gender is somehow vague. "Welcome, child," . . . she, let's go with she, says in a gentle voice, "I am Shaila. Why have you called me?"

Lucy's ears wiggle and she looks up, eyes wide for a moment as she looks over the glowing woman. She slowly rises to her feet and smiles, curtseying deeply. "It is a honor to meet you Shaila. I'm Lucy Riverkin and... well, I'm trying to become a mother." She folds her hands together over her lap and twiddles her thumbs. "I've wanted to for a long time, even made myself a woman so I could. My lord and I have tried but I... I'm worried. I was hoping to get your blessing."

Little motes of blue and purple light float about in the air around the many tailed fox. "Of course, dear Lucy," she says, stepping close to the hippo to wrap her up in a gentle embrace. She leans back and places her hand on Lucy's belly, "I can assure you a healthy child," she says in a low alto, almost masculine, "You and your child shall have my blessing."

Lucy's eyes widen as the fox approaches, her body relaxing however in the maternal spirits embrace. Her eyes close and she feels a tickle roll through her body at the gentle touch. "Thank you, but... could I request something more? I... I've heard people can dedicate themselves to you spirits. Would you accept me as your, um, I think it's 'caller?" she asks, a little hesitation her voice.

There is a loud snort and a bit of a damp chuckle. "Shaila," comes a deep voice, "It sounds like you have been advertising!" A massively obese boar dripping with finery has appeared in the dark clearing, lit only by Shaila's gentle glow.

The mysterious fox being smiles a little at the boar. "Olloch," she says, "It has been so long. You are here to make a counter offer, I assume."

Lucy's eyes flare wide, and she looks around frantically. She sees the boar and recoil slightly from him. "I remember you, from Sven's party." She stands up straight brow furrowed. "You're responsible for that cult that was responsible for all those poor beings deaths. What makes you think I want to dedicate myself to you?" she calls out defiantly, but steps closer to Shaila.

"Now that is hardly fair, my dear", Olloch says, unbothered by Lucy's disgust, "I am no more cult leader than Shaila. I invite my followers to indulge themselves in the good things of the world. It is not up to me what appetites they feed. The MotherFather and I have a better relationship than most between our separate courts, we see eye to eye on some things. She is just more result oriented where I am more interested in the process."

Shaila lays a hand gently on Lucy's shoulder. "You have nothing to fear, love," the fox says, "He is not here to harm you, nor would he. Why would you dedicate yourself to me, child?"

Lucy swallow and looks up then relaxed, her words calming the hippo. "To ensure my children are safe, I want nothing to happen to them. I'd love to have a big family. I've always wanted a lot of children. I look at mothers and envy them, want to be them. I want to have the best chance I can to have that." She looks at the boar and nibbles her lower lip. "But why are you here? I mean, okay, it's not your fault for those cultists, but why here, why now?" she asks cautiously, but curious.

"Is it really children that you are after, my dear?" Olloch asks with a tusky grin, "Is it your Good that you are thinking of? You have been nothing but completely faithful, I have no doubt. I am here to tell you that there is nothing to fear in seeking after pleasure. That if you follow my way, I can promise you a lifetime of sensuality free of worry and safe from consequences." He shrugs, "Or you could join the baby train, of course," he says, "As Shaila says, I have no quarrel with her."

Shaila stands and listens quietly for now.

Nicolau pads along through the woods, his crude golem stalking through the pathways with him as he traces the path he had laid out for Lucy. The foolish woman couldn't have come all this far on such a whim, could she? The hippo tracks - obvious as they are - prove otherwise, the cougar letting out a weary sigh as he comes up on the shrine. He has never truly been a believer in such things - until he reached Sweetwater, ironically. Though, the voices were unmistakably not Lucy, and as the man stepped up to the shrine, he opened his eyes wide at the sight. "Ahhh..? Darling?" he calls.

Lucy's cheeks darken and her head dips at the boar's words, head turning in a flash of shamne. Her eyes widen and she lifts her head, catching an approaching being, the voice unmistakable. "Nico," she replies, her blush deepening. "Nico! What are you doing-" She looks at the two spirits and shakes her head. "I want children, I do. I even fleshcrafted myself to have them. I..." She stops and looks, seeing his figure approaching, then turning back to the boar. "I enjoy sex, I do, I do not deny that, but a child isn't consequence, it's a reward. Worrying is a part of that, worrying you'll be a good parent, raise them right, protect your children. What can your gift offer me there?"

Olloch raises his hands in a playful, defensive gesture. "I don't offer happy families," he says, "That really not my bailywick. If it is really Family you are after, Shaila here can help you." He gives a knowing, and vaguely lascivious look to Lucy as Nico arrives. "I am only recommending you think about what it is you REALLY want," he says, not unkindly, "Is it really a safe, stable family? Or do you find that you want more?"

Nicolau grins broadly, seeming distracted from the spirit just from the sight of Lucy's blush dying her cheeks red. "Just making sure you're safe, Lulu, as any guard should, no?" he explains, raising an eyebrow with an innocent quirk of his head. His head lifts again to look up to the two taller entities, putting on a respectful posture. "Imagine! In the.. flesh?" he says, uncertainly, gesturing to Shaila and then Olloch, eyes resting on him for a moment. Not even a dedicant and already serving the beastly boar, he kneels behind Lucy and wraps his arms around her waist. "Mm.. you're so cute when you're tempted," he purrs, flashing a wink up to Olloch. The cougar gets baxk on his feet and in noble posture in no time, the sweet smelling feline clearing his throat and adjusting his cravat as he allows them silence.

Lucy's eyes focus on the boar, jaw clenched and tense, then looks to the cougar approaching. Her shoulders square slightly and she lets out a faint scream as he hugs her. She squirms but doesn't pull away. "N-Nico, we're not supposed to be seen like this in public," she replies to him. Her eyes cast up to Shaila then back down. She shakes her head. "I'm not entirely faithful to Pontius, I admit, but I'm his consort, not his life bond. He's a dear sweet man and I do love him but..." She turns and looks at Nicolau. "I've got a lot of love to give." Her eyes look back up at the boar, back arching to stand taller, or at least as tall as the petite hippo could. "It doesn't change my desire to have his children, or ensure they're healthy and safe, and I don't feel like being a good parent and wanting the best for my children and enjoying... such carnal pleasures are mutually exclusive."

Olloch only shrugs and smirks at the pair. "As you say," the boar says, "I have said my piece."

Shaila, on the other hand, has taken on a bit of a stormy aspect and seems somehow less feminine now than earlier. "A family is a grave responsibility," he says, "And not to be taken lightly." His purple eyes flick toward Olloch and back to Lucy. "To me, and mine, there is no calling greater or of more value than fatherhood and motherhood. What is your choice, my child?"

Nicolau moves away from Lucy, his boots leaving mud across the ground as he strolls over beside Lucy, taking on an impressive posture as he leans toward the plump gentleman. He doesn't dare open his mouth for fear of inciting the wrath of Shaila, but does offer a subtle wink toward the indecisive hippo. "You'll make a wonderful mother," he says in a neutral tone, with a nod.

Lucy looks up at Shaila and nods. "I don't, I can think of no greater honor than to be a mother." She looks down, drawing her hands to her stomach. "I can't wait to hold my child close to my breast, cradling them as they nurse. Help them take their first steps, learn their first words, teach them of the wonders of Promise. I will love them with all my being." Her ear flickers as she hears Nicolau's words and turns to look at him. She smiles bashfully and looks away. "Thank you Nico." She looks back down then up at Shaila. "I'm not worthy of you, am I?" she asks, almost sorrowfully.

"Worthy?" Shiala asks, raising an eyebrow, "What has worthiness got to do with anything? I do not care anything for worthiness! All I ask is devotion!" The plump, now definitely male fox leans over and caresses Lucy's face.

"I bid you protect your own," he says gently, looking into the hippo's eyes with his own, purple gaze. His hand trails down along her neck and breast down to her belly. "Allow me into you and I will warm you," he says, "I will protect your children as my own, for they will be."

Nicolau smiles warmly at Lucy, blowing her a kiss as she recieves the spirit's blessing, his hands pressed gently over his heart as he sighs. "She is beautiful, no?" the cougar asks aside to his fellow spectator, rolling his shoulder as the tension in his body releases, watching on.

Lucy's eyes widen, her ears wiggling as he leans towards her. She smiles, cheeks pushing up into the carress of the spirit's hand, blush still present as his hand feels over her body in such an intimate manner. "Of course, I give my devotion, as a mother, as... as a child to you Shaila. I will give them my heart, all I have, to make sure they grow strong and good, even if they are not my own. I accept you into me," she said, her teeth showing brightly as her smile beams, a soft giggle rising from her throat at Nicolau's comments, swatting in effectually at him.

Olloch only shrugs at Nico, producing a small bag from somewhere and proceeding to. . . eat peanuts and watch the display. "Left out the bit about opposing the Corrupt Court," he grunts, "That is down right decent."

The purple fox nods at Lucy's enthusiasm and takes her hand. "Then I am in you, and you in me," he says, "When you call, I will come, and when I call, you will come." Shaila takes his hands away and there is a warmth that starts at Lucy's wrist where a golden bracelet forms, and spreads slowly through her body.

Nicolau holds out a hand expectantly, hoping to get a snack from the idle boar. He offers a chuckle at his comment, continuing to observe the ceremony as he watches the spirit's gift being bestowed upon the hippo. "Lovely."

Lucy's eyes remain focused on the spirit's until she feels the warmth on her wrist and looks down, the gleen of gold making her gasp, the air drawn in exhaled as the heat spreads though her, posture straightening at the comforting sensation. She nods and looks back. "I will come, I promise," she said, words bouyed by the heat filling her and the gift adorned on her wrist. "Thank you Shaila."

Olloch holds out the bag of nuts to Nicolau. They are the best nuts he has ever tasted. These cannot be peanuts. These are what peanuts wish they could be!

But the rite is not quite over. As the warmth spreads through Lucy, her very body is subtly altered, her figure becoming more feminine, with wider hips and more ample breasts, all the better for child bearing.

Nicolau savours the taste of the incredible food and the sight of Lucy's ample body becoming even more tantalizing, a low purr of lust escaping him as he grins to the spirit he is sharing a snack with. "I am a fortunate man," he informs the boar, scratching his chest before ravenously consuming another handful of the nuts. "Mmph.."

Another gasp, Lucy drawing her hands to her hips as they spread out wider, her waist looking much more narrow in comparison. Her clothes strain, particularly the top where her already ample bosom fills out. hands coming up to support them as her bra strains. "Oh... w-wow, these things are going to be a... well, arm full, I think they're a bit too big for my hands." She smiles and tries to make sure they're covered. "Calves won't go hungry though."

Olloch winks at Nicolau. "Still think she would have been happier with me," he says, "I don't worry about all that innuendo with my callers." The huge boar waddles over and hold out his fat arm to the nearly equally tubby Shaila. "If your business is done here, my dear?" he says, "I believe we are needed elsewhere. Good luck, Lucy, Nicolau. Do say hello to Pontius for me."

Shaila rolls his- her- whatever, eyes are rolled and the purple fox being takes Olloch's arm and looks at Lucy. "Take care, child," then the pair is gone, leaving the clearing in darkness.

Nicolau licks his lips at the sight of Lucy's modified form, giving Olloch a wink and a nod of agreement. "Too good for her own good," he purrs, before making his way to Lucy's side and offering the hippo his own arm. "We will. Until we meet again," the cougar promises, with yet another wink. "Mm.. you look stunning."

"Thank you, again," Lucy calls after Shaila, still a bit in awe and the afterglow of her mark. She looks to the cougar and takes his arm, leaning against him. "That went better than I expected. Though given how chummy you were with Olloch I'm surprise you didn't ask him to become a caller yourself." She looks up and raise a brow. "I seem to remember someone getting his gift... tusks might not look bad on you, you know that?" she muses and hugs against his arm, then relaxes her grip promptly. "Oh, forgot about these big gals. This is going to take some getting used to."
