With word that the councilbeing was already sick enough to have the red spots and be bed ridden, the best physicians that the city has are called to save him, if only to get answers out of the foolish being. The doorbeing, a tall greyhound female of the graceful clan, looks surprised, "You're all here to see the master? He's very sick you know..." When explained why they are here, she demures and allows them in, directing them to his room, where he lays atop his blanket, fur matted down with sweat, and exposed skin splotched red with the disease. He looks over at the group through barely open eyes.

Selena approaches the being with a somewhat sympathetic look on her face. "Well, you could say that. I'd say I'm here to ask more questions than just look." she replies, making her way in nevertheless moving over to the being - not directly, rather remaining a 'safe' distance - something of a token given disease being as it is. "Hello, councillor." She greets quietly, musing something to herself under her breath.

Siyu takes a deep breath as he adjusts his scented mask. Not as ornate as a lot of the others he's seen around. But enough so that the aromatic herbs at least filter the air he's breathing. So it is in the city, it stalks already. He has a few of his latest batch of test strips. "If you could please..." he holds up a strip to the greyhound. "I have a test for fever. I think it would be best if all the household were tested to see if they are running hot." he offers meekly. Prehaps they can get lucky and keep it to one household.

The Greyhound bobs her head at Siyu, "I feel fine, m'lord," she assures, but she dutifully holds the strip, then shakes it a bit, looking uncertain, "How do I use it?"

The councilbeing offers little greeting other than what could maybe be a nod.

Cythim carefully approach, from far, the sick councillor, trying to see the firsts symptoms visible on the patient. Readying some sort of mask that she wrap around her mouth and nose. She then get closer to see how the Greyhound is doing physically.

Selena looks back to Cythim briefly, before turning back to the councillor. "Would you be so kind as to describe how you were feeling leading up to this?" she asks, though it's fairly clear she isn't too convinced the being will respond at all - taking notes on the being's appearance before the salamander moves in. "Cythim, I don't know how much experience you have, but either way I'd appreciate it if you let me know what you notice; for everyone's benefit, I'd like to keep some notes just in case." she notes, producing a small water magic spell of her own for whatever it would be worth - for the time being, there wasn't much more for her to do.

Siyu lifts a hand up and he touches the mathmagic rune in the middle. There's just three colors. After extensive testing he's gotten the tempreture of normal beings...somewhere aroudn 98.5, though he has no numeric measurment for it since there's not tempreture scale. Green would be within normal range of 1 degree or so. Blue cold, Red hot. Simple, easy, effective, disposable. He will let the other healers first crack at the council member. Hoping beyond hope they could isolate the staff and prehaps stop it here. "Just hold it to your forehead, and the color will show." he looks over, "Do you have any skill in fire magic?" he asks as he has more strips.

The councilor is not the same species as the doorman. A chipmunk, though looking a bit more thin instead of the usual jovial pudginess. Drenched with sweat, with a cloth on his head doing little to help. "What... are you all doing here?" he finally asks. When the question comes he pauses again, "I felt hot, but this is a hot city, that's normal. But the sweating. Even when inside. The dizziness was not long after that. Now I can't sit up." He wheezes for breath after the long speech, but it soon calms down.

The doorbeing smiles and holds up the strip to the right place, eventually producing a simple green color, "Is that good?" she asks, "Green is good right?" Her tail wags behind her, as if proud of her result. "Can I get any of you some tea? I'm being a terrible host."

Cythim says, "The best way to pinpoint what would be his potential disease would be to try his body actions, reflex and temperatures.". Cythim notice Siyu using his contraception on the council member. "But for now, let's wait what Siyu system tells us before starting to guess what he may have caught.". While she wait, she ready her medical pack, and organize her tools and herbs. Then she hear the chipmunk talking. "You are feeling hot? We should probably try to get somewhere fresh, it would at least ease your body, since i don't believe this is actually normal.". She het next to the chipmunk. "Do you know a good place for this matter?"."

Selena clicks her tongue quietly, jotting down the comments from the councilor. "Well, we're here on report that you have contracted Red Fever." She replies quietly. "It's of utmost importance that you let us know who you've been in contact with over the last few days so we can ensure they haven't contracted the disease." She replies, closing her eyes for a few moments. "Siyu, you said? I'm surprised, but I suppose it shouldn't come as a shock he'd have his proverbial finger in more things than just the few trades I'm aware of."

A mask in place, and with a bag in each hand, Mirana drops one to knock up the door. A very simple dress on, even a covering for her hair, bound up upon the top of her head. "Pardon the delay, getting here was not a short task, grabbing supplies from stock." She says. "Mirana Solacious, pleased to see you here, Siyu, Cythim, Selena, though I'd wish for different a situation." Placing the bags upon the floor, and with quite a bit of trouble, openning them up. Once has... leather gloves, treated with what smells like a fairly strong alchohal, along with more bottles of the stuff. The other bag conatines some pages of paper, a quill embued with magics, and an assortment of supplies. "Good Siyu, please keep going, I'll take down notes. Thank you." She says, looking to the chipmonk, "It's going to be fine sweetie, we're going to ask some questions, and then get you some help, alright?" She says softly.

Siyu nods his head, "Yes Green is good, it means you are not running hot and with fever. If you can gather the rest of the staff. I suppose we must find if anyone else is running fever. They might be hiding it like...like the councilbeing did." he gives a soft little sigh. Shaking his head, "no food or drink for me please..." he looks over to the councilbeing, "Has he been given anything for the fever? Willowbark? Peppermint?" he asks the Greyhound before she bustles off. He steps into the room and he blinks, seeing Selena, giving a cough he bows his head and adjusts his mask, "I've become somthing of a healer..." he holds up a fresh strip. "I have made a quick fever detector. Good way of sorting through sick I think." he looks at the council member and gets close. Exmanining him, this is the first plauge victim he's seen after all, and he will examine over his features, looking for anything...odd. He looks over at Mirana and nods, "I think Selena is also taking notes..." he offers MIran and nods at Cythim as she unpacks. "When the Being comes back with tea, please infuse it with some peppermint. We will see if he can drink anything..."

The chipmunk shakes his head, "No!" he cries in alarm, "Cold kills. I heard it this morning from the crier. They're... dropping like flies up north. I'll stay here, in the warm." he argues, fingers clutching into the fabric of his bedding, not that he's likely able to give much a fight in his condition. "I've... done my duties." He closes his eyes, "Can you fix it? Will I die?"

The doorbeing looks a bit worried, but excuses herself, "His Physician asked that we feed him a special tea. I'll bring it back with me." moving towards the front door, brushing past Mirana with a perplexed expression, but deciding getting tea and passing out the stripes is more important than asking who Mirana is. Oh today is going to be busy! She closes the front door along the way.

"We need to contain the disease as much as we can, as we don't need to spread throughout the town". She looks around. "We should also forbid the place for whoever doesn't have proper skills in medicine, as they would only make our work harder.". She notice the result of the system, then says to the doorbeing, "Green? Then i'd believe you should keep your distances for a bit as you could still be infected afterwise."

Cythim quickly run toward the doorbeing after she said her advice, "Wait! Did you said special tea? Can you tell what you used for it and who prepared it?". It may have done something wrong. "And can you bring it to us beforehand?".

Selena looks back to Mirana somewhat unimpressedly as the noble makes her way in. "You've been away." She states unusually curtly. "And this is neither the time nor place for some of the things I have to say to you. Siyu's correct; I have been." She notes, tapping the pen on her paper in emphasis. "If you need a copy, then I will forward one on."

"Sir, for what you have done in your lifetime I'm sure you've done that and more." She replies, sighing quietly. "I believe you have a right to know as much. It is usually a fatal disease, and we don't have a cure at present - which is why it's so important you let us know who you've been in contact with recently. There's only so much treatment that can be done with what's known about the disease right now." the wolfess explains, looking back over to the kangaroo rat again. "I'm impressed. You've come a long way since you got here..." the wolfess takes a half-step back, leaving a little more space for the others to move about.

With a look to Selena, Mirana's tails bustle up a bit, but she smoothes them back out quickly enough, "Dear councilman, Selena is quite right, but you are in good hands here. The best the city has to offer. We'll ensure all is done for your benefit." She says, continuing to smile behind her mask. Taking out a pair of the gloves she puts them on, getting ready to record, "You've been doing your normal duties, very admirable! But where do your duties take you? Do you often to the Main Concourse? The Docks?" She asks. She'll have quite a few questions for his help as well. Walking close to Siyu and Cythim, she whispers to them, low and quiet.

The councilbeing lets out a defeated sigh of a noise, "I've heard the same rumors everyone else has. I've never even been to Shralesta, damn their sun baked city." More wheezing happens as he pauses to catch his breath, "Creators take them all." A curious curse to level on the city of piety. "My duties are in the castle. I argue... for the people."

Elsewhere, the doorbeing has already hurried off, and is passing strips around to the other servants she happens across, and prepares tea, and is generally busier than she has been in the last month. She comes hurrying back, without the prepared tea, but with a tin, and one other servant, "He turned red," she advised, nudging the robin into the room and setting the tin down, "Here's the tea the physician recommended." And she's off in a flash, not even pausing to hear responses.

Siyu sucks in a breath, "He's in the advanced stages. I...I am not sure if his body has the means to fight it..." he says finally with a nod, he glances back to Cythim, "There are some leaf packets, markted Elderberry and also feverfew. We're going to have to get him to drink as much tea or broth as we can. He's sweated out most of his fluids, you can see how pale his lips are..." he nods, "And he will have to be bathed. I do not know if there is a tub ready. But almost hot water should be drawn. Well it doesn't have to be drawn. I'll do it myself I just need a tub. I think...I think we can lift him by the sheets and it should not be too risky." he says through his mask. "I use some of my abilities to try and help fortify his constitution but I do not know. And...Find that damned doctor! He's at fault for this. He treated the councilbeing and kept quiet. He needs to be hauled in too." he looks up at Mirana and flattens his ears. He is a bit jumpy and a bit panicy. The rodent just trying to keep it together while surrounded by strangers and disease. He looks at the robin, and he gives a litte nod, "Did you dedicate to Phoenix?" he asks the robin simply and matter of factly as he looks at the tin, openining it up to see the mixture, while also looking for a tub.

As she got the tea from the doorbeing, she return back were the healers were gathered. Cythim talk to everyone, "This is the supposed 'special' tea that the physician recommended. I have no idea of how it was made but i'd believe it could've be...", she look around and at the chipmunk while she move around, telling everyone else while making sure he doesn't hear the comment, "could be the reason of his disease...". Cythim give the tea to Mirana. "Lady Mirana, i'd like to try it myself but i must attend to the servitors inside the mannor.". That being said, she rush back into the manor, trying to gather more informations as she tries to limit the damages.

The robin blinks at the question, "I'm just a servant, m'lord. I couldn't even dream of a sacred family like that. I found a little bit of dust once." He fishes a pocket and pulls out a whee little bag, within the faintest glimmer, "All I ever had. Not even sure what to do with it, but I thought it gave me good.. luck." he says, swallowing hard and not looking all that lucky. If he has what the councilbeing has, it clearly isn't as far, as he's not sweating a storm or looking terribly dizzy. "There's a tub right there though, m'lord." He steps across the room and pulls back a curtain, revealing a ceramic tub with gold inlay, "The master ordered it when he won his position. A reward to himself, m'lord. It can heat and cool water. Every expensive, I'm told." He's gone all talkative, easier to ramble than to consider his potential mortality.

Selena looks back to the doorbeing somewhat alarmedly before they take off again, writing down a quick few lines. "Mm, he reported feeling hot, followed by sweating even when indoors, dizzy spells and... this. He's also said he can't sit up." She recites. "Any fluids, really."

The robin quickly attracts her attention, prompting the woman to turn to them. "Pardon, I'd rather not trouble the councillor too much with questions in his condition. I'm sure the others here have some equally important ones to ask, but if I may ask - how have you been feeling recently?"

"I'm mostly fine, M'lady," says the robin, starting to shake a bit, eyes darting about, "A little hot around here of late, nothing serious... am I going to die? I don't want to die, m'lady, I have things I want to do, little things, but things. I'm not ready to go." Tears start to stream down his face as his facade shatters entirely, "I'm not a councillor, but you can help me too, right, please, don't just let me die."
