There was no bounty on the board today, but rather a warning on several public buildings that the shanties are to be avoided even more than usual, as one of the resident gangs has brought a sizeable area under their control, bringing even more danger and unstability to the darkest place of the city.

Stepping into the outskirts of the area that was marked as being under the gang's control is none other than the orange furred, robe clad feline Lidara, with a short bow and quiver slung over his shoulder along with two daggers at his sides. His hands do linger down near the hilts of each of the daggers though and his head on a swivel, the feline's eyes darting this way and that in search of any potential threats. His stance is even already slightly lowered. For the moment though, he simply rests there, observing the area around him while he considers... exactly where it is that he should start.

A light tapping can be heard behind the well armed feline. It grows louder and louder as it gets closer. It's not even that loud, but it could be anything. A voice rises, quietly calling out "Lidara!" The voice belongs to Kastovin! He is clad in a white robe, finely embroidered with gold thread in patterns of leaves falling from a dying tree. It moves stiffly, letting one guess it's padded on the inside with something thick to absorb blows. A hood covers most of his head, only allowing an eye to peek to see what's around him and his ears to poke out of the top. It's a worthy note that he is letting off no light. In his hand is the source of the tapping, it's a hooked staff, reminiscent of a shepherd's crook. He walks up to the orange cat, a lot more silent now, not letting his staff tap on the ground. "I see you came to see what this new gang is about, hmm?" He smiles up at the well armed cat.

Galve slips out of one of the shadowy alleys nearby, his cloak drawn around him. He drew up to the pair, nodding to them quietly as he did so in an attempt to remain unnoticed by anyone who might take notice that he didn't want to.

There are several beings patrolling the streets, all badly armed and wearing different rags, and all wearing a blue scarf somewhere on their bodies. Two are standing on the roofs of some shacks, one with a makeshift bow, the other actually having a musket. One of the beings on the ground, an otter, is wearing a few mismatched pieces of armor over normal peasant clothing, and has a muzzled maneback on a chain. Carts and tables have been overturned to make the street narrower, allowing the gang to force intruders through a chokepoint.

Lidara quickly perks up upon hearing that tapping, his movement stopping completely for a moment before he twirls around to see exactly what the noise was coming from. He doesn't actually register exactly who the figure is until he hears his voice though, at which point a smile immediately forms on his muzzle. "Kastovin! I can't say that I was expecting to see you here," his own voice quiets again, "Yep. If they're a threat to the city, I thought I might as well do my best to help." His attention is soon drawn to the third figure that joins them though, who gets a nod in return, and then in turn to the town in front of them once more. For a few moments more, he simply considers his options... before simply shrugging. "So... do either of you have any ideas that are better than just charging forward?"

Kastovin looks around the group. He comments "One of us could take out the roof people, I assume this guy here can fly without fully wearing himself out.." He gestures to Glave. "And if not, I can always go up there." He looks to the chokepoint "I could toss something nasty into that chokepoint right there..." He points to all the overturned carts "If nothing else, it's clear all that up."

Galve nods, shifting his cloak aside to reveal his iridescent insect wings. "I could, if you want." He says, resting his other hand on his sword pommel.

The two guards on the roof seem to be chatting with each other, causing them to have not spotted the rag tag group of beings that is so obviously standing right outside of their newly claimed territory, but it is unsure for how long. The gang members on the street are hurrying in and out of the buildings, hurling what few valuables they can find out of them and onto a small pile.

Lidara gives a nod of his own at that, glancing between the two rooftop sentries as he does so. "I might be able to hit one of the beings on the roof from here...," he shrugs the short bow off of his shoulder and into his hands, crouching down slightly and glancing to Galve as he does so, "Try to take out the one with the musket, I think. If I miss, then they're going to be much more of a threat than the one with the bow." He knocks an arrow, but doesn't take aim quite yet, seemingly waiting for the go ahead from the others.

The cat rummages though his robe "Now, where did I put..." He hmms and sighs "Must've forgotten it..." He looks and says "If you get one, go for it. I can try doing something about the other, but it will surely be seen and heard by everyone around here."

Galve nods, pulling his cloak back over himself and slipping up to the outside of the building. flipping his cloak back and extending his iridescent wings. Using the building's wall to aid his ascent and hide him from the guards as he rose, before coming to a stop just below the ledge. He waits for a moment to glance back before pulling himself up, his sword drawn, and rushed the being with the musket.

The wasp's attack pierces the musketeer from behind, causing him to sink to the ground as Galve withdraws the sword. The archer does not even have time to react as his chest is hit by an arrow from Lidara's shortbow and he starts coughing up blood. The commotion does not go unnoticed and there is a lot of shouting and running around in the street, as beings draw weapons and get into positions.

By the time Galve is on the roof, Lidara has his shot lined up and is able to let it loose right on que. Really where the arrow lands make the cat wince, but... he doesn't have time for mercy right now. Their presence is now known, after all. That shortbow is quickly slung back over the feline's shoulder, his hands instead going to draw the daggers at his side, and he begins darting over to take cover behind on the bits of debris used to make the chokepoint. "They already know that we're here, so there's no need to worry about being loud anymore. Might as well see if you can catch them off guard with some of your magic."

Kastovin nods! He stands tall, or as tall as he could possibly be, and looks towards whoever is closest to them. Raising an arm, he aims slightly above them, his eyes move over to lidara and he smiles, his eyes have turned a deep chrimson. "Remember my old lightning bolt trick? I've improved it." He focuses all his might to the space above the heads of whoever is unfortunate enough to be his target.

Galve pulls his sword from the bandit's chest and slips it into it sheath again, scooping up the musket and taking aim at one of the bandit's below from the roof.
