A few coughs, "Any more?" No answers. "Well, I'd like to take a moment to announce that there is a Guild of Healers being made. So far it has but myself and Sir Siyu within it, but we are always welcoming more who wish to learn the ways of medicine, and lend their support to all the beings of Promise." She looks primiarily toward Ruby and Siyu now. "I've made a buy of land here near the church to build upon." That might help..." he considers, "But that's a bit farther head in the future." he waits as the announcment of the group and the new setup gets rolling. He looks over at Ruby, "Huh? Sorry? No it's all right. You don't remember you don't remember, I just will try to introduce myself again after the cerenomy." he nods<br> <br>Technetium keeps her hands down, she /is/ a fire specialist after all. Healing fire would be a slight oxymoron. She rubs behind her ears slightly, suddenly itchy behind there. Taking on other healing souls wouldn't be benefical to her nor her patients, if she chose to join the guild. "How are foriegn relations at the current moment, on a country-by-country basis?" She asks to Mirana.<br> <br>Mirana smiles as her surrogate daughter volunters. "Thank you Ruby, do we have any others?" Doesn't seem to be at this time, but she picks up one of the badges, a silver one, two hands joined at the wrist, outstretched, and holding a raising sun. "Thank you, please come back to report in in a few days, going to have to give you light duty though." She smiles, looking at Ruby's belly a moment. Then, to Technetium's question, "Humm, well, after that scuffle with Ishara, I haven't heard of anything. I know that area is having its own problems, and I'm aware of some issues that Shralestia has had recently. But beyond that, it seems most other nations are doing well. However, if I hear something, then I'll be sure to follow up on it." Up stands another being, a lioness, "So, how would this guild work and operate?" She asks. Looking to Siyu, Mira smiles, "Well, if you wouldn't mind, I'd direct this question to Sir Siyu."<br> <br>Ruby lowers her paw, sinking further into her seat from Mira's nention of her belly. Looking over to Siyu before he's addressed, she nods. "I would like that." she tells him, a small smile appearing on her face, brightening her green briefly. Her ears keep up their work of swiveling to catch bits of info however, watching the rodent for his answer to the question he's addressed with.<br> <br>Siyu ohs a small bit, "Well as far as I imagined it, care for everyone and anyone, without care for coin or status." he nods as he clears his throat and he stands up. "A healthy city, a healthy society benifits everyone. King and pauper are not immune from sickness, and disease, if the lowest of us is sick then the highest could be. Caring for everone not only ecourages helpful beings but also creats a city worthy of the Creators blessing" he nods, "As it is I will takevolunteers, those skilled in healing get first priority, but we don't just need healers, we want people who wish to become healers. It's why we're located so close to the orphange, we want to train people. So that they might work on their own, without needing us." he headbobs, "Everyone should ahve some skil in healing, if nothing else, to try and help people before a more trained healer can arrive. The minutes after an accident are crucial, and a trained surgeon can't be on every block." he clearss histhroat. "So we offer free medical care, and medical training." he glances at Mira, "At least um...that's how I'd wish to run it" he coughs, feeling a bit embaressed. <br> <br>A few murmurs and nods among the beings at Siyu's explination, though it seems not all are overly impressed. "We will prove ourselves on the streets of Sweetwater. We will do so on the boarders of Mossy Stone. We will do so on the roads of Shanty Town. We will not turn away a Cliffsider, Sweet Waterian, anyone." A bit more nods, a few claps. Mira smiles, "And thank you Siyu for that explination. Now, farms needing attention to, and Shanty Town needing some way to aid, are there any others?" A geeko stands, "Well, yes, speaking of Mossy Stone, what of the troubles there, and these spirits?" Mira looks about, "We will do all we can there, though any with information or suggestion, please, step forward."<br> <br>Ruby listens to Siyu and Mira's explanations, her smile returning as she realizes she did the right thing in raising her paw. Straightening up in her seat, she sits quetly for the time being, not having much to add to the topic. One of her paws idly strokes at her belly, intent on calming her child who might just hear the speeches and applause.<br> <br>Siyu smiles and he nods his head, "I suppose we will be working closing with the Freeswords, I know I and Lady Solacious are Freeswords, and their skills and abilities are of course, needed for most things, minor and massive." he clears his throat, "A lot of rumors are swirling about the spirits and mossy stone. We don't know a lot. At least not yet. Though parties of strong Freeswords have been exploring and trying to get answers. We're not sitting idle. But anything more would be speculation, and I don't think that would help"<br> <br>A bit of clammer as the beings discuss among them what Siyu's answer could mean. Threats of old returning again? The discussion turns more than a little dark, however Mira doesn't permit it to stay such for long, "Good beings, trust in Good King Good as well as those of the Creators Church, we will keep save the boarders of our city." Some are placed at ease. "And with that, I'd like to bring today's mass to a close. Thank you all for showing up, and if you have donations for the church itself, a box rests near the doors, and thank you all." She says, a slight curtsy, very slight, as beings start to get up to depart.<br> <br>Siyu smiles and nods<br> <br>Ruby cradles her belly as she gets up from her spot on the pew, grunting softly. Once she's steady on her feet, she passes by the departing mass of people to reach Mirana, smiling at her. "That was a great speech, I thought. I'm going to get back to the inn and rest for a while." she tells the vixen, both paws supporting her additional weight.<br> <br>Siyu smiles a little again as he'll try to offer a hand up to Ruby, "mmmm, well all right. Sure you todn' want to stay and chat? As I said we could get to know each other again. I suppose we didn't meet htat long before your journey." he smiles at Mira and bows his head. |

Rain, a great deal of rain. Though that wouldn't stop the Noonday Mass! Mirana awaits just outside the church, ushingering people in, "Come along everyone, come inside, we will be holding today's events indoors." She looks at the heavy rain and sighs a bit, "Rain can mean renew as well." She says as she watches the down pour. The inside of the church is very spacious, much more open than a church on the Creator's planet would have been, designed more for meetings, celebrations, and the like than reading from books and services of religion. "Hurry, hurry please, there are some towels inside to help everyone dry." She says.
A rarely-seen coyote stands next to Mirana as she hurries people inside the church, holding an umbrella over the both of them with one paw, while the other wraps around to cradle her protruding belly. She returns greetings tossed her way, but most of the attention is on the busty vixen. Most of her time is spent avoiding looks and welcoming people shyly.
Siyu nods his head as he wanders in, heavy oilskin coat on and a wide hat as it just pours, giving a faint little sigh, "I think it's been raining near two weeks now. At least spring is closing and we're moving into high summer." he chitters a bit as he holds the door for other people, and he keeps chittering, "hello Hello"
Mirana smiles and reaches to Ruby to give a pat to her back, "You go in too Sweetie, I'll be in shortly." She says, giving a wink. "Hello Siyu, and welcome, please come inside and find a seat." She says, following them both after herself, "Welcome everyone, and I hope this rainy day holds a ray of light for everyone." She says as she slowly walks toward the front of the room. "Even though our creators are coming to be with us again, I still feel that their words of old hold a special place for us." She says, opening up the book that lay on the petistal, "Chapter 4, Paragraph 23, Line 4. 'Obey and honor those who are in position above you, follow their lead, and make this land yours.' I feel that we are closer today to this than we ever have been before." She announces, getting a few cheers from those about!
Ruby gives a quick nod, handing the umbrella off to the vixen before stepping swiftly inside the church. Once she's out of the rain, she picks a seat that she feels won't have people on both sides of her, having developed a bit of a phobia of being surrounded, a product of her growing child. Despite being close to the speaker, she isn't louder than everyone else nearby her. In fact, her clapping is probably quieter than most, not out of disrespect of course. A smile is worn on her face while listening, intrigued when it comes to learning about the culture of this land she's found herself in.
Siyu gives a light shake of his hat and he removes his coat and hat, giving a tiny little chitter. He sees Ruby and her swelling middle and he just smiles and sits next to her, giving a faint little head bob, "hell othere!" he mmms, and nods as he'll sit and listen. He'll try to comfort Ruby though, giving her a gentle pat and a smile.
With the reading out of the way, Mira glances about, "Now, the creators might be a boon for our world, but that doesn't remove the responcibilty to help ourselves. They have said that they will not be advancing us to their level, which, is both a blessing and a curse! They don't want us following in their footsteps, they want us to make our own path!" Her own hand rubs on her swollen middle as she speaks. "This also means that we will continue in our paths of discovery, hardships, and advancement. We are making this world our own, and will always welcome our creators, but they have given this planet to us, not once, but twice!" More cheers, some clapping again, "Now, we need to help one another through the hard times, so, does anyone have something they need to ask for aid in?" An otter stands up, "These rains are flooding some of the fields out in the farms, we need help rebuilding the irrigation, if there are any hands to assist."
Ruby glances at Siyu as he sits down in the seat next to her, giving a nod of her own. "H-hello." she says sheepishly, though the patting makes her furrow her brows in skepticism. "U-uh... do I know you?" she asks, leaning away slightly, her mother instincts building a slight fear inside of her. Hearing the otter speak about the crops, her attention goes there, considering how useful she might be to farmers in the rain. Very little, but she keeps the idea with her for the time being.
Siyu just smiles a little and he keeps quiet to listen, he blinks at Ruby, "you don't remember me? We met when Lady Solacious introduced us before you left for Sharlastra..." he furrows his brow, and he removes his hand, he'll just ponder THAT for a little while as he listens about the fields and irrigation, "Hm, have to wait for the rains to stop and the ground to try. No sense in digging new canals if mud will fill them again"
Technetium silently enters the church, aware she is late for mass. She flicks her hood off and slides into a middle-back pew, aware of how her overtly large ears may interfere with other peoples line of sight. She notes Siyu, which she has seen before, and decides to risk going into the seat behind him, trying not to be disruptive and cursing her bad timing.
Mirana notices someone coming in a bit late, "Come in, come in, grab a towel, it is quite wet out there!" A few more follow in after Technetium. "So, once the ground is ready, are there any others who could help redig irrigation in the farms effected by these rains?" A few hands go up, "And if possible, I'll lend my help as well. Do we have others?" She asks, standing up is a Robin, "I'm not in need of help this day, but I'd like to thank the Freeswords for finding some of my employees and friends just yesterday, I do believe one of them mentioned something of a new guild, devoted more specifically to such aid. A guild of healing? I must admit in the crisis I wasn't focusing on the small details. I'd just like to thank, Camille, Chance, and Siyu." A slight applose, a few cheers. Next, a Collie stands, "Following the riots before in Shanty Town, things are on the decline again. I know they don't trust nobles and are slack in their willingness to work with any others, a band of thieves and worse, but, is there anything we could do to try and address this?" Silence.
Ruby reaches one of her paws over to rub at her opposite arm, no simple task for her. "I'm sorry... it's coming back to me, but I'm not great at names. We were gone a while longer than intended..." she speaks quietly, intending not to interrupt the service. As the speaking continues however, she still doesn't find a good place to insert herself, being quite ignorant to the goings on of these lands, or her own for that matter. Even if she had answers, the next barrier is her aversion to speaking publicly.
Siyu leans back and he listens, the problems have been growing, and he admits he's been more focused on the spirits and the large threats, not just the small ones. He looks back behind him to Tech and he smiles and bobs his head to the fennec, greeting her as he turns his head back to Mirana.
Technetium listens to the requests coming from the stage, and considering the implications while also considering potential solutions. She sighs, and rubs her head with one of the towels, straigtening her hair after she does. She glances at Ruby, wondering what could've triggered amnesia. She changes her gaze back to the stage proper, turning her thoughts back to the event at hand.
Mirana puts a hand to her chin, tapping it there for a bit, "Well, I'm not sure, are there any ideas?" More silence, finally, a sigh, "We will all have to just continue what aid we can give. I hear the shelter there is still going, once more, perhaps we could build upon that." A few coughs, "Any more?" No answers. "I've made a buy of land here near the church to build upon." Things are quiet now, "Do we have anyone who would like to join, we are the Hands of Dawn, and will turn away none in need of medical arts."
Ruby frowns slightly as Siyu doesn't respond to her, making her feel as though she's done wrong by the odent. "I'm sorry..." she whispers, looking up at the public speaking. As Mira's eyes fall on her, she shrinks down in her seat a bit, trying to be less visible. However, as Mira asks for volunteers for the new healing guild, she slowly but surely raises a paw into the air.
Siyu flattens his ears, "I don't think spending money in Shanty town would be appreciated, I'm sure they're distrustful enough of outsiders, nobles and merchants alike..." he hmms, "Prehaps when the creator tech is installed there will be more fresh water for them. That might help..." he considers, "But that's a bit farther head in the future." he waits as the announcment of the group and the new setup gets rolling. He looks over at Ruby, "Huh? Sorry? No it's all right. You don't remember you don't remember, I just will try to introduce myself again after the cerenomy." he nods
Technetium keeps her hands down, she /is/ a fire specialist after all. Healing fire would be a slight oxymoron. She rubs behind her ears slightly, suddenly itchy behind there. Taking on other healing souls wouldn't be benefical to her nor her patients, if she chose to join the guild. "How are foriegn relations at the current moment, on a country-by-country basis?" She asks to Mirana.
Mirana smiles as her surrogate daughter volunters. Looking to Siyu, Mira smiles, "Well, if you wouldn't mind, I'd direct this question to Sir Siyu."
Ruby lowers her paw, sinking further into her seat from Mira's nention of her belly. Looking over to Siyu before he's addressed, she nods. "I would like that." she tells him, a small smile appearing on her face, brightening her green briefly. Her ears keep up their work of swiveling to catch bits of info however, watching the rodent for his answer to the question he's addressed with.
Siyu ohs a small bit, "Well as far as I imagined it, care for everyone and anyone, without care for coin or status." he nods as he clears his throat and he stands up.
A few murmurs and nods among the beings at Siyu's explination, though it seems not all are overly impressed. Now, farms needing attention to, and Shanty Town needing some way to aid, are there any others?" A geeko stands, "Well, yes, speaking of Mossy Stone, what of the troubles there, and these spirits?" Mira looks about, "We will do all we can there, though any with information or suggestion, please, step forward."
Ruby listens to Siyu and Mira's explanations, her smile returning as she realizes she did the right thing in raising her paw. Straightening up in her seat, she sits quetly for the time being, not having much to add to the topic. One of her paws idly strokes at her belly, intent on calming her child who might just hear the speeches and applause.
Siyu smiles and he nods his head, "I suppose we will be working closing with the Freeswords, I know I and Lady Solacious are Freeswords, and their skills and abilities are of course, needed for most things, minor and massive." he clears his throat, "A lot of rumors are swirling about the spirits and mossy stone. We don't know a lot. At least not yet. Though parties of strong Freeswords have been exploring and trying to get answers. We're not sitting idle. But anything more would be speculation, and I don't think that would help"
A bit of clammer as the beings discuss among them what Siyu's answer could mean. Thank you all for showing up, and if you have donations for the church itself, a box rests near the doors, and thank you all." She says, a slight curtsy, very slight, as beings start to get up to depart.
Siyu smiles and nods
Ruby cradles her belly as she gets up from her spot on the pew, grunting softly. Once she's steady on her feet, she passes by the departing mass of people to reach Mirana, smiling at her. "That was a great speech, I thought. I'm going to get back to the inn and rest for a while." she tells the vixen, both paws supporting her additional weight.
Siyu smiles a little again as he'll try to offer a hand up to Ruby, "mmmm, well all right. Sure you todn' want to stay and chat? As I said we could get to know each other again. I suppose we didn't meet htat long before your journey." he smiles at Mira and bows his head.
