Sunpetal Lily

Named for their curious habit of turning their large blossoms to face the sun in its passage across the sky, the sunpetal lily is well-known as a judge of various bodies of water due to its inability to withstand even the slightest trace of fouled water in its habitat. It's generally accepted that if one can find sunpetals growing in any body of water, it's generally safe to drink after a little boiling. While the lily's large pads aren't quite sufficient to hold the weight of a being, they can nevertheless withstand a considerable load.
