Powers

A Pegasus is a natural at weather control and morale. Allies nearby are easily effected by their Joyous Heart, making them work harder more easily. Plus they can use the Winds of Fate to give allies some random assistance, though it is not always guaranteed.

Also, all Pegasi are able to perform some small-scale weather control, able to alter the climate within the room they are in. Plus, in their true form, they can fly for a long distance, unlike normally winged beings of Promise.

Thematic Information

When the Creators were terraforming Promise, they had need of beings who could use their mathemagics to control the weather. While macroscale and climatic control was impossible - or at least unfeasible - an individual pegasus could coax a cloud to rain for a farmer's crops, or use the winds to push back a storm and let workers finish their shift. A well-trained team of pegasi working in concert could generate massive rainstorms, lightning, or small-scale cyclones in order to reshape a locale far more quickly than manual terraforming. And much like their mythical counterparts, those who worked with a team of pegasi found themselves inspired to work harder and happier, feeling invigorated even after extra shifts or grueling days.
