A bit late and with some light rain, Jessica looks around as Jeremy stands there patently. Beside them is a rather older looking machine. "I don't know how you can stay so calm Jeremy." Says the Blackback skunk, twitching her tail a bit. Meanwhile, the flower being with purple petels looks over to her, "It is only the creators, they are nothing big nor important." Jessica gives him a fairly blank stare, then again, being one of the first friendly shadows, Jessica really cound't question her flowery companion. "If... you say so." She says as they wait.

Calisiel chuckles slightly, standing not far from the rest. "Exactly. The creators are nothing compared to us. Beings, in general, are far superior." The crow seems to share the opinion, at least in part, of the flower. Her white hooded cloak drawn up over her head, while she leans heavily on her staff. She glances at the machine, distasteful of creator tech.

"I'm gonna have to agree with that one.." Sara states as she steps into the viscinity, an index pointed towards Jeremy, "Never seen one personally, but I heard about one.. which sounded like little more than a petty thug. Something like Creator.. Joe?" As she mumbles to herself Sara makes her way to the two and their machine before stopping a few feet away and pulling the hood of her cloak down. "Either way, I'd like to see just what these people are like."

A soggy mouse comes skidding into the little gathering, stopping a fair amount of paces away for fear of being unwelcome and catching some snippets of the current conversation. He holds a hand up high in greeting to the other beings, "Hello. Fine weather. Heh... eh." The rodent goes quiet and continues to hover near the edge.

Ryusho can't help but rub his chin at the 'distaste' as he hums, "I myself...Am not sure, They were looked on with wonder a few years ago...and then in curriosity, and.." he hums softly, "There is a lot I do not know...other then the one thing I have been interested in is the ...technology, the want to figure it out...to hopefully improve my own knowledge and ability to make things..by learning from things I don't fully understand." he says, having arrived a bit on the quick side since he had been currious, especially if it was a mix of involving creators and then shadows...though he tries to still brush off the fact that he ...really had lots of problems with the shadows until they..became more netural one might say...considering he had been soulless...or..however they are called now....

Elijah grumbles as he joins the group at the church doors. "We gonna hang around here in the rain?" the grizzly rumbles, "I'm already going to be dripping on the floors!" He raises a wary brow at Calasiel, since the bird was obviously mad as a hatter. "What are we calling the Creators down for anyway?" he asks.

The grizzly smiles as he notices Ryusho, lumbering over to stand by the big reptile.

Amelia looms about on the scene, content to watch fairly quietly for the time being, it seems. She collie reaches up to adjust her glasses before linking her sleeves together, standing with a rather neutral smile on her face. She'd been a little out of the loop lately, and was a bit unsure of what to add... So watching would be the best bet, she figured.

A cloaked young plant being moves closer to the group that seems to increase in size by the minute. He is still wearing his heavy cloak covering most of his body from the rain, but keeping the hood unworn, after all what flowered being does not like light rain on their white petaled, double blossom of a hair. Getting a bit closer he says, he speaks in his usual calm and polite tone, "Such disdainful comments comming from us and just before we enter one of places of their worship ironic isn't it?" His face still holds its usual serene and neutral expression, but it seems his priestly training him quick to defend the Creators. He quickly adds, "And after all wouldn't at least the saints deserve some form of respect? We won't be conversing here if it weren't for them." With his piece he offers a slight smile to the group, before going back to silence.

Siyu walks in with the rest of the beings, in his muted linens, his eyes are sharp and he looks around the room. Not saying anything really. The two beings are working the creator device. He honestly isn't sure what he can add so he just stands off to the side and is quiet. He's dressed with an oil skin so the rain didn't really bother him. Just standing towards the bac and listening to the others.

Looking over to each being walking up, Jessica shakes her head to Calisiel and Sara, but gives a nod to Ryusho, "Indeed, the Creators are just that, our creators. We shouldn't dismiss them so easily." A nod to the other flower. Jeremy shakes her head, "Come inside, we've need of those who understand these older machine spirits." She says, welcoming everyone into the main room of the church, "And to be mindful in here, and respectful at least." She continues.

The machine looks like some kind of slab with different very unsual looking letters on it, and some numbers as well, though they don't quite all make sense. "Well, do we have a priest with us today? The priests themselves said they were a bit too busy, but if we could find beings able to use it, they would allow us, this once. They said they would be most comfortable if another priest was in charge." Says Jessica.

Ryusho mrphs softly, "I had been wanting to get some..at least basic training as a reason to be able to try to interact more..directly with such tech..but I don't believe I ever got the chance, other then watching and trying to learn from that.." he says softly to himself as he rubs his chin, looking slowly over it, but not getting any closer as he thinks

Calisiel chuckles softly, "I'll be respectful. Probably. That depends on them." The crow glances around the room, having no priest training, she simply stands and watches. For now. Could, if noone here is a priest, lie and say she knows what she is doing. But not yet.

Elijah shrugs his massive shoulders then follows the others into the church. "I'm pretty handy with golems," he rumbles, "Have never tried my hand at Creator stuff though." He looks over the machine, wondering if maybe it works like a golem.

Amelia raises her hand and smiles. "Yes. I am Amelia Percival, one of the priests from Shralesta," she says quietly. "Been doing it most of my life. If you require the services of a priest, I will gladly provide mine." She drops her hand once she has finished her introduction and relinks her sleeves.

Siyu shakes his head, "I only know how the handle artifacts without them blowing up, I do not know how to operate an of their machines..."

"Only real knowledge I've got with this stuff is what I had seen in the creator ship, and in the undertunnels." Sara admits regretfully, "And even then, I never really figured out how to.." she stops then, and gyrates one of her hands as if thinking of the correct word, ".. work it, I suppose?" As she speaks, Sara makes her way into the room, choosing to stay behind those that had understood the creator technology and its language, her tail swishing happily all the while.

Rokarion stares at the machine, trying to take all the details he could see in, before answering, "Well I am a trained priest, and have some interest in Creator Technology, but I do not think I would be comfortable enough with operating this device. I fear damaging such wonderful piece of technology."

Benegaris maintains a fair distance from the crowd of curious and beings with better training than himself. For now he keeps to himself and listens intently. Maybe he'll at least learn something today at least.

Ryusho rumbles very softly, "I am a craftsman by trade, and one who wishes greatly to learn about this tech, but...I do not know and have not been trained in proper use, other then what I have seen, so I would have to work and figure it out very carefully if I was to try myself.." he says after a bit, "So it would potentially be better if one with proper knowledge stepped forward, but if no one does, I might be able to, given a little time, to figure it out with a ginger touch.....

Elijah shakes his shaggy head at all the tiptoeing. "Let me at it," he says, lumbering up to the machine, "This doesn't look too hard." The Burly bear starts to poke at some of the familiar symbols. "This should get the thing hopping," he says.

With a priestess among them, Jessica smiles, though Jeremy continues her blank stare. Such is the shadows. "Ok! Come here come here." It is easy enough to tell that the slab has letters from The First Language, and translation is not too diffacult. However, the machine seems... dead... or asleep? It makes no sound nor movement. Jermey however looks to Ryusho, Elijah, and Siyu, "Perhaps you three could take a look at it as well?" she asks. But seems that everyone had some idea on what they were going to do already! Elijah's poking around does eventually get an upper part, above the slab, to glow with a strange bright light! An image appearing... and moving around? It is red, green, and blue, though without knowledge of The First Language, it is impossible to read.

Calisiel yawns, singularly unimpressed by the creator technology. She looks at the others, but has nothing to add. So, the crow leans on her staff, watches patiently.

Amelia shuffles a little closer alongside Elijah, content to let him try first as she watches. The dogmonk was hardly one to raise a fuss over such a thing! And she was curious to see what happens. "Well, I shall remain on standby should we need my assistance," she says with a polite nod to Jessica. "I will let him have the first crack at it." And it seems he at least got something to trigger! Thankfully, she could probably read the image. Probably. She reaches up to adjust her glasses and leans forward to find out!

Rokarion moves closer to the group, maybe the flower didn't invite him to step up. but he was not going to leave such a chance to simply watch this machine working from a close distance. He says to Elijah, "Just be careful we don't want to damage it. " Rokarion then shifts his gaze back at the machine looking for any other signs of its possible function or control.

Benegaris goes bright eyed at the wondrous lights coming from the machine and scurries his way closer to the wise experts. "What's it say? A prophetic declaration of doom and gloom. Woe to all who read it?" The rodent twitches a bit at the very prospect. He manages to quiet his thoughts and lock up his mouth before any more idiocy slips out though.

With nothing to really add to the talk of the machine Sara remains close to the back of the group and folds her arms across her chest, her lips pursing in a pensive gaze. As Elijah makes his way to the machine Sara rises to her tiptoes and attempts to peer over his shoulder as the sigils are pressed. "Huh.. wonder wha--.." her sentence stopping rather abruptly as she looks over the new letters. "What in the hell does that say?" she asks herself as she begins to make her way to the strange machine.

Siyu stands back as those with more knowledge work it, he at least shakes his cloak off so the water doens't get near the device, peering at it and those around it.

"Yeah, yeah," Elijah rumbles, "I'm not going to break anything." He pulls his unlit pipe from a pocket in his overalls and puts the stem between his teeth without packing or lighting it. It just felt good to have it there. Helps him think. "Is that it?" he asks, "Is it working now?"

Amelia hums in thought as she scans over it with her eyes before flashing a little smile. "Parts of it are a little unclear," she begins, "Something about a self-test or diagnosis. Something is working properly, though we need to check... Something else. Possibly a power supply, or internal component. Depends on how well this machine has been maintained."

Ryusho thinks a moment, "Well...If it check...Does it not...say what is not right?" he asks softly,

Calisiel continues to watch as the beings seem to be having trouble. "Problem? Have you tried pressing every button? Assuming there are any..." She barely looked at the machine.

Rokarion nods, and chimes in with Amelia, "What Amelia said. I am assuming there are some kind of manual or maybe one of those numbers are a scale for something?" Glancing Rysho and answering, "Unfortunately the thing we should check is....unclear to me at least." He then shifts back to the machine, before adding in, but not looking at Calisiel, "Pressing every button as you say is a quick way to get this thing unoperable."

Upon the main slab there are many buttons! Though mostly letters and numbers of The Old Language. Though after a bit of looking around, it is noticable that there are a few other buttons on the side of the machine as well. Perhaps one of them could work? Or maybe they would be more dangerous. One of them has a glowing green little light beside it, and looks as if it could be pushed upward or downward. A few other buttons each look as if they could be pushed in and that was all.

"Eh," Elijah grunts, looking over the machine, "If it glows, I say it wants pushing." The big grizzly reaches out a massive paw and slides the green lit switch upward. Up meant on, right?

Amelia quietly watches Elijah make his choice before giving a slow nod of approval. That's probably what she would have done, herself. A brief look is cast over the others for a moment before she looks back to the machine. "Remember to be cautious," she says quietly. "We do not wish to harm it. Or ourselves."

"Preferably I'd rather IT be harmed than us. A much better alternative." Benegaris puts his hands behind his back in his desperate struggle to keep from joining in on the rogue button presses. Such a struggle not to satisfy a certain morbid curiosity. Truly.

As Elijah pushes the switch, the little green light goes out! The device starts to go cold except for the upper part which still displays the same thing. For the most part, everything else remains the same, with no visable parts.

Ryusho stares softly at it, "..So that turned it off..." he says softly, as he thinks, "..However the top shows the same.." he says softly, "Maybe the top is not linked to the bottom?" he then says after a moment, "Since...The bottom turned off, but the top stayed on....that implies they are seperate...so..." he has to stop for a moment....
