An eclectic order of Shralestan monks named after their founder, Aran Gustwing, Aranians are charged with keeping both the desert trails and lines of communication in Shralesta open. Operating from their monasteries, the members of this order guide and harbour travellers on the road, and pass messages from one desert city to another by means of Creator devices and heliographs alike.

The fighting style developed by this order of monks focuses on becoming a wheel of pain, imparting a furious flurry of blows on multiple opponents at the expense of defensive power. Usage of Creator technology to supplant their attacks is common.
