Olloch
From Rusted Promises
Olloch, the Glutton
Olloch is a Spirit both of feast and of famine. He is the lord of Hunger. Thanks to his nature, he appears in one of two guises. He appears either as an immense, obese and finely dressed boar or as an emaciated, mangy hyena. In either form he bears impressive, upturned tusks. In boar form, he is The Glutton and in Hyena form he is The Devourer. His appetites are certainly not restricted to food and drink, however. Perhaps he was once a Spirit of plenty and righteous revelry, but no more.
Basic Pact
- Bid: I bid you indulge!
- Offer: I offer you all the pleasures of the world!
- Purpose: Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die! The world is fat with good things. A fruit ripe for plucking, but not by just anyone, by YOU! Every excess is no crime, but rather, worship!
- Gift: Olloch bestows a coin bearing the visage of a boar on one side and a hyena on the other.
- Mark: Dedicants of Olloch, regardless of gender or species, grow a pair of tusks from their lower jaw.
Benefits
- Olloch's callers are immune to most of the ill effects of their indulgent lifestyle. They do not suffer hangovers, bad trips or the ill effects of overindulgence. They are also surprisingly healthy, despite all, and immune to any venereal diseases.
- Any food or drink prepared or served by Olloch's callers is especially delicious and more intoxicating than usual. Dining with a caller of Olloch is a surefire route to lowered inhibitions and surprising mornings after. A caller is immune to the effects of his own food and drink.
- Once a day, Callers of Olloch may dictate the outcome of a coin flip, using Olloch's gift. Heads, tails or edge, it will land as they call it.
- Dedicants of Olloch are always hungry. Not overwhelmingly so, but they are never, ever full.
Personality
- In boar form (His most common appearance) Olloch is ebullient, friendly, and welcoming. He offers food, drink, women (Or men) entertainment and any form of pleasant distraction imaginable, even to those who are not his callers. In his hyena form, however, he is desperate, starving and will beg, cajole, wheedle and threaten to get what he wants.
