Many Aldermanns see the shattering of the Moon as an ill omen, but it's surmised that the Shattering is what led to the Soulless, --so what of Gifted Aldermanns? Well, they tend to get arm's-length affection, caught between the Church-prescribed love and acceptance as stated in the First Text, and superstition and and whispers behind their back.
