The frozen wastes of Thera'Dor require everyone to pitch in to the communal effort in order for everyone to survive. This, combined with a very Church-centered upbringing, means that Mindaugas is law-abiding, charitable, old-fashioned, awkwardly polite, and an absolute buzzkill. For more impish Beings, this makes him ridiculously easy to tweak. (Just give his player a heads-up first.)

Child of a Shattered Moon

Many Aldermanns see the shattering of the Moon as an ill omen, but it's surmised that the Shattering is what led to the Gifted--so what of Gifted Aldermanns? Well, they tend to get arm's-length affection, caught between the Church-prescribed love and acceptance as stated in the First Text, and sideways looks and whispers behind their back. It seems even the keepers of the old ways aren't immune to superstitions...

Earning His Antlers

Consciously or unconsciously, Mindaugas has responded to this suspicion by redoubling his dedication to the family duty. Unfortunately for those around him, this tends to manifest as a degree of zealotry in practicing, preaching and enforcing the spirit of the First Text.
