A soft rumble leaves Flora's muzzle, the fem-cat wandering the store silently, inspecting everything, and generally causing those beings working in the store to be on high alert, along with being more than a little bit unnerved by the High Lady's presence...

With her presence announced shortly before she actually arrives, on account of her suit of plate, Lucasiel wanders into the store, curiosity painted on her face. She pauses for a moment when she settles her eyes on floar, her pierced and notched ears perking a little. "Mm. Good day, my lady. How does the day find you?" She approaches the display cases, helmet tucked under her arm as she looks over the pens.

"Flora has been... Busy," the she-cat mumbles after a while, shaking her head lightly. "That one. Subpar. Bring it to the back," the cat mumbles, pointing at a pen on the opposite wall, before shaking her head lightly, tail flicking about, near-silently swishing through the air. "Flora has... Thought a bit on some things. And it would help Flora to have a more complete copy of the... Family archives, yes," the feline mumbles after a while.

Lucasiel glances over her shoulder towards Flora, putting her hand on her hip. "Busy? I can imagine. Someone like you must have a lot on your plate." She makes her way a little closer, but keeps a safe distance, not wanting to crowd the woman. "No bodyguards today?" She asks with a raised brow. "Ah, but that's a tangent. Do you have something for me to do then, to help assure you of my loyalty?"

"Guards are there, there, there and there. One there, and one over there that fell asleep on the job. Flora will have a chat with him later. All LongTech Personel capable of using a weapon is armed for self-protection, yes," the she-cat explains calmly, her quartet of tails still swaying about. "If Lady Lucasiel has anything from the family's records... Flora would appreciate it, yes."

Lucasiel glances around for a moment, expression impassive. After a time, she gives a curt nod to the tiger. "I do. Before I left, I made it a point to borrow some books detailing family history and some of its members. Over the years, I also took and kept a few notes on some of the other Longtails, but I do not believe you would be as interested in those, as they deal primarily with the Longtails -outside- of Sweetwater and Firmament. But if you wish them, I can provide a copy, as well."

"Flora will take any information Flora can get. Lineage, tactics, anything, yes," Flora rumbles softly, before nodding lightly and flicking her ears. "The books can be returned at the front gate of the mansion, yes. Tell the guard Flora sent from them, yes yes," she rumbles after a while, already looking over the store again.

Lucasiel nods again at that and glances up towards the ceiling, staring into space for a moment. "I will do that, yes. I am wondering if I will be useful to you at all. I am not an inventor, or any kind of thing like that. Given what I know of LongTech, I am not sure if my talents will be useful at all. Hmm. I suppose time will tell."

"By supplying Flora with these documents, Lady Lucasiel is already helping, yes," Flora rumbles softly, her ears flicking lightly and her tails swaying behind her in silence, as she wanders the store silently, inspecting everything... "Flora is sure it will be helpful, yes."

"Hmm." Lucasiel rolls her helmet around in her gauntlet, tossing it up and down. "As you say, Flora. I'll have them to you tomorrow, then. Whatever helps to bring down the antagonistic Longtails, hm?"

Flora nods and rumbles again. "Indeed. Flora will make sure to look through everything and cross-reference them with the information Flora already has, of course, yes."

Lucasiel nods slowly and glances towards the door for a moment, starting to turn before she stops. "I do have a question, if I may, of a more... Leisure nature. Of sorts. I don't suppose you happen to know any trustworthy beings or places that could temporarily look after a child, do you? I do not fancy the idea of leaving her out in my camp unattended when I have matters to see to that she cannot accompany me for."

Flora nods and then shakes her head. "Flora... Supposes the orphanage? Flora wouldn't know, other than that," she mumbles after a while, shaking her head lightly... "Flora wouldn't know, no. Maybe the lightbringers, but that's not what they're supposed to do, no... Buuut... Then she'd be safe, at least, yes."

Lucasiel scratches her chin at that and nods. "Hm. I'll consider those. I left her with the Freeswords for my little walk here as is. Speaking of... I should probably get back to them and get her home. You can expect the material first thing in the morning." She brings a pair of fingers up to her brow in salute. "Have a good evening, ma'am."
