The grounds and gardens of the Solacious manor, usually austere and military are bedecked in streamers and garlands in the house colors interspersed with the white traditional for lifebonding ceremonies. There is, of course a huge party representing the Solaciouses, but there is no shortage of representatives from all walks. Everyone from Royal Goods to Freesword Rabble are in attendance. The garden is abuzz with conversation and laughter, not least of all because of the fine buffet and bar!

In the pavillion set up for the ceremony itself, Fenris is having a hushed conversation with a fox dressed in very plain finery. Those in the know might recognize Sirus, the head of the Spyguard. They seem to be having some sort of disagreement, but it is probably nothing serious.

Dressed up in a fine, flowing white gown, Cassidy was off to the side, nervously fussing with the ringlets in her hair as she spoke with her mother. The fennec was, in a rare moment, rather nervous! Lots of things didn't phase her, but it wasn't ever day she was at a life bonding ceremony. Let alone her own! The older vixen was trying to reassure her, while also trying to get her to stop messing with her hair. It would be time, soon, after all.

Natska, in a similarly elegant white dress to match Cassidy, is off to the other side with her parents. Both of them have dressed well for the occaison, although there does not seem to be other members of her family present. In contrast to her beloved, Natska seems to be a center of calm, observing the chaos and fanfare with a faint smile and murmuring quietly with her mother; her father is, on the other hand, almost openly gaping at the spectacle of a noble family bonding - even if it is one that won't produce chidlren, it looked like the Solacious family hadn't held back.

All dressed up in fancy, rich, black noble clothes and masked wih his usual plague mask as he felt he wouldn't be able to look people in the eye effectively, Thelergramor heads on into the garden. The wolf peers around at the decorations, at Cassidy and Natska, their parents... the others gathered... The wolf just stays quiet, off to one side of the groups of beings.

Selena stifles a yawn as she makes her way through the bustle, a slightly bittersweet expression on her face as she takes a proper look around. She's wearing an evening gown more appropriate for the event than her typical attire; an elegant thing that - while it doesn't look out of place on her - is quite clearly a rapid departure from the level of practicality she prefers.

After a few more moments of looking around and shaking hands with a few familiar acquaintances, the wolfess makes her way over to the more familiar faces in the crowd; namely Cassidy, for the time being - the first of the pair that had caught her eye on entry. "Cassidy, good evening." She greets; "I'm almost surprised some of the Solacious haven't made a fuss over this... It's certainly a welcome development that they haven't, though." Sighing slightly and looking back over the gathering, she offers out a hand to the vixen's mother, a slightly somber note to her voice making it clear she's a little uncomfortable with the formalities as well. "I don't believe we've met before."

Rokarion was standing in one of the emptier sections of the grounds. The plant being, clad in their usual body covering heavy cloak and grey garments, frugal yet kept meticulously clean, was wondering why did he come here? Oh, of course a crowd of spectators pushed him with them as they entered here. Since he was here already, the plant being decided to stay and wish the new couple a happy life, after all a being trained as a priest, no matter how young or if they are active or not, should always set an example for others, and show happiness during weddings, or at least serenity in his case.

The warm afternoon is perfect for this gathering! Though it is rather a shame that the sun isn't shining. It seems that the cloudy disposition is shared by some of the relations who stand about in scattered groups, their frowns quite evident against the sea of smiles. But the small army of servants are keeping their glasses full and steering them away from the couple and their immediate families.

Fenris manages to cut off his argument with the influential Sirus Solacious and takes up his station in the pavilion while Sirus walks off with a smirk on his face. Ushers start to move the wedding parties to their seats.

Cassidy perks her ears and turns to smile at Selena as she approaches. "Selena! Thank you for coming today. I was hoping you'd make it. And... Some of them did, at first. But I have my parents to thank for putting most of their concerns at rest. Or at least quieting them. This is Alexi," she says, gesturing to her mother who takes Selena's hand in a firm shake, offering a smile of her own.

"It's a pleasure, miss... Hearthkeep, I do believe. We've heard about you! Cassidy has told us of you, and I've read over your papers on three dimensional magics. Quite impressive!"

Jera makes his way into the wedding gathering dressed in a pale red. He has deemed it fit to don a dress for this occasion seeing the couple about to be married and hearing about the naysayers to the pairing. After all, why spurn the stubborn halfway? He looks around at the guests and starts heading over to congratulate the couple.

Natsksa's parents move to their seats, and Natska gives Cassidy a wide, bright smile as her attention lands on her fennec again. She clasps her hands together and takes her spot, waiting, giving happy aknowledgments to her friends as she picks them out from the crowd.

Thelergramor just lets himself be led by any ushers who want him moved, spotting Selena and Rokarion not long after. Thel tries to sit somewhere close to at least one of his friends; then sees Jera. Immediately thinks he should've worn his own dress...

Selena nods back to the pair, sighing slightly and shaking her head. "Some nobles never seem to be happy with these things..." She murmurs to herself, nodding back to Alexi. "Please, just call me Selena. It's good to meet you, Alexi." She replies - then the ushers start moving through the crowd, the wolfess looking back over her shoulder and tsking. "Well, I should take a seat." It doesn't take the wolfess long to find an usher and slip into a seat, watching on in polite silence, nodding in acknowledgement to Thelergramor as she settles in somewhat near the wolf.

Rokarion was busy glancing around the crowd, seeing how came and who did not. He did hear a couple whispering about a Sirus Solacious in the crowd, which made Rokarion move a bit closer to see the noble, sadly he did not manage to get a good glance before Sirus disappeared from view. With a sigh, Rokarion glanced the grounds again, suddenly deciding to do what he enjoyed best, and with that in mind, Rokarion took out a sketch book and his pens, before moving to a more secluded area, the one with the best view of the scene, and began drawing.

Jera finds his seat first. Waving to Thel and Selena once they find their own nearby, smiling ear to ear. He mumbles something under his breath to form his wisp under the large cover of his wedding gown, perhaps as a surprise for later.

Fenris stands smiling down at the gathering crowd, dressed uncharacteristically in priestly robes, a silk stole on his shoulders marked with the symbols of the six Creator Saints. He nods to the string quartet set up off to the side of the pitch and they start to play an upbeat processional as guests take their seats and everyone waits for the couple and their families to make their way to the pavilion.

Cassidy shrugs at Selena, still smiling. "Some people are never happy in general. I doubt I am the first Solacious in history to bond with one that is not a fox or other of our... 'Line,' and I won't be the last. We are happy. Our parents are happy. That is what matters," she says with a nod. "But yes, I should get to my spot." She gives her mother another hug and turns, offering a little wave to Jera and the others before she starts towards the front to take her place with Natska.

Natska's ears perk as the music starts, and she turns her happy smile up towards Fenris to make sure the liger was ready. Since it looked like everyone was in place and the guests that wanted to sit were now seated, the jaguar made her way up to the front, taking her spot with Cassidy.

Thelergramor adjusts his mask, nods at Jera, "Nice dress." Then turns to Selena. "Yours too, yeah." Then falls silent again. Doesn't want to interrupt the ceremony. Not that there's too much to interrupt yet. Aside from music.

Selena nods back to Jera and Thelergramor, looking on intently as the ceremony starts - it's fairly clear she doesn't want to interrupt anything either in similar manner to the wolf.

"Ladies and Gentlemen," Fenris raises his voice and his hands, "Welcome dear guests! We here to witness the bonding of our dear friends, the Lady Cassidy Solacious and her chosen, Natska Illyushkin." There is a quiet murmur from the crowd as everyone finally settles into their seats and the quartet falls silent. The liger gives an encouraging smile to the two ladies.

"Why thank you, Thel!" Jera offers, politely, before straightening in his seat and clapping for Fenris and his announcement, though his nose twitches a bit at Natska's surname, a bit glad inside that she's going to be labelled Solacious in a while...

Cassidy takes a deep breath, tail swaying behind her as she turns to face Natska. Still a little nervous, but she's good at not showing it, now. She was thankful to be wearing her long gloves today, slowly reaching out to take Natska's hands in her own. "Goodness," she murmurs, voice just above a whisper. "All these people watching."

The jaguar's ears are slightly tinged with color, Natska quite aware of the larger than expected crowd. She takes Cassidy's hands and gives her love an encouraging smile, almost as much for her own benefit as it is for Cassidy's, and gives her fingers a reassuring squeeze. "I know, love," she murmurs. "But don't worry about them. This is for us."

Thelergramor nods at Jera and Selena again, then looks over at Fenris and CnN. He remains quiet, watching with an incomprehensible expression behind his mask; the emotionally broken wolf is somewhere between sad and happy.

Selena raises an eyebrow slightly, apparently having not heard Natska's surname prior to that moment. The wolfess keeps a fairly straight face, though the smile is the same as the one she wore on entry to the manor.

Rokarion raises his head at hearing the foreign surname, glancing Natska, before going back to his work. Now that the couple where on stage and most of the crowd where on their seats, the plant being can finally begin drawing the main attraction. He idly keeps switching between his pens as he draws, now seated on the ground away enough to be able to get a good view of the whole place.

"We are gathered here to wish luck and happiness to the new couple!" Fenris says, producing a short length of silken rope and holding it up for the crowd to see. "As I bind your hands, it is but a symbol of your lives," he says the ceremonial words, carefully tying the rope around the ladies' joined hands, smiling at their whispered conversation, "Your souls progressing in blissful harmony!" The liger makes a complicated knot, binding the fox and jaguar tightly, but comfortably to one another. "There will be arguments," he says, continuing, "There will be anger, but they will only hone your love, not break it. You will have understanding, and there will be peace and fulfillment."

Cassidy fights the urge to close her eyes, steadying her breath and doing her best to keep her nerves in check as she squeezes Natska's hands in return, smiling softly as they're tied. She remains silent for Fenris' lines, keeping her gaze and attention locked on her soon-to-be bondmate.

Natska's breath catches for a moment at the hand-tieing and the ceremonial pronouncement, but her attention remains fixed on Cassidy. She smiles even wider, nodding her head along with Fenris' words.

Thelergramor just remains, as he is and has been: Quiet. Continues watching, leaning back in his seat.

Rokarion is still idling with his drawing, however still focusing on the ceremony, witnessing how Sweetwaters did their own weddings.

Jera pulls out a handkerchief tucked in his glove and starts playing the role of overjoyed, emotional relative. Sniffling and wiping and pretending to tear up. A performer stays a performer...

The fluffy feline finishes tying the knot. It is infinitely more complicated than it has to be, but we all express love differently, right? He steps back, leaving the couple standing together hand in hand. "Let any who would speak against their union speak now or hold their peace forever more." Fenris looks over the crowd, his eyes lingering on certain unhappy looking noblemen, mostly foxes and mostly potential suitors for Cassidy had she chosen differently.

Cassidy casts a brief glance towards the crowd out of the corner of her eye, watching for a moment. She didn't expect anyone to actually do so and invite the scandal that such would doubtlessly bring. Among worse things. Her eyes soon turn back to Natska's, though. Her smile returns, squeezing at her hands again and letting out a soft breath.

Natska gives Cassidy's hands another soft squeeze, her ear flicking. She doesn't bother to look at the crowd, although her ear flicks and her shoulders straighten at even the thought that someone would want to cause trouble, but then she relaxes, still smiling brightly.

Thelergramor remains quiet, clearly. Has no reason for them to not be bonded, due to his undying love for them. Which, those unhappy looking nobles might not have the most pleasant of nights, later... Or, wouldn't, had Thelergramor noticed them. And he didn't; too busy watching CnN.

Selena turns her head to the group of disgruntled beings Fenris's eyes had flicked towards, eyes narrowing ever so slightly as the invitation to object hangs in the air - though it's clear she doesn't expect any of them to actually have the audacity to do so; ultimately, she simply turns back to the proceedings.

Rokarion raises an eye at the question before glancing around to see the grumpy nobles, and Rokarion was not going to comment because he certainly was not against this wedding at all, it would have helped if he knew the couple better. With a shrug he goes back to his drawing, however anyone glancing here would probably notice the plant being's inner flower's petals blossom, expanding half way but not draping down like his outer blossom, enchanting his scent even more.

Fenris allows a few moments to tick by, and when there is no more objection than a sullen silence from a certain section of the audience, he steps back up to the couple with a grin. "Then, speaking as proxy for the Good King, and under the laws laid out in the First Text," he says, looking back and forth between them, "I now declare you Life-Bonded! Let all know that you two are now one!"

As soon as the declaration is made, Cassidy breaks into a wide grin and leans forward to pull Natska into a hug. She's still not entirely certain how these things are supposed to go, but she hardly cares for specifics at the moment. "The day is finally here," she murmurs again. "I was almost too excited to sleep, but now it has happened. Here, in front of everyone. It's official, now. Forever."

Natska giggles, rocking a little on her feet at the end of the official ceremony. She leans forward to meet Cassidy, giving their tied hands another squeeze. "Yes! It is. Now and forever, we are one, love." She grins, then gives Cassidy a long, happy kiss.

Selena applauds politely as the pair's lifebond is finalized, though her eyes seem to be just aside of the pair, never quite settling on them for longer than a few seconds. At least it was genuine.

Rokarion redoubled his efforts as the climax was reached, the plant grabbing and throwing pens near him in practiced precisions until after a couple more moments he was finished. Satisfied with his own work, Rokarion grabbed his pens and hid them back under his cloak and closing the sketchbook before standing up again.

Jera claps once the lifebond was finalized, though now that his facade was faded he looks like he has a lot going on in his head right now.

Fenris smiles at the newly bonded couple, murmurs a quick congratulations, then steps away to allow the well-wishers the space. Plus he does not want to be in arms reach when they find out how complicated that knot was, or find the gentle adhesive he applied to the rope. One must use one's opportunities, after all. The liger slips away to get out of his robes. Anyone watching might notice Sirus Solacious watching him go. The audience erupts into cheering and friends from both parties mob the happy couple!

Cassidy certainly wouldn't mind the rope. Right now, she was happy, and getting away was not even a thought to enter her mind. After breaking from the hug, if only for being polite to the guests, she smiles and nods. "And what a lovely forever it'll be, hmm?" She grins and looks over the crowd, smiling and offering one-armed hugs to her family and smiles to everyone else. Not last of all the friends they had invited themselves. "Thank you all for coming to see us today. It's... Quite important to us, and I very much appreciate it!"

Natska smiles at Fenris as the liger leaves, her hand still firmly holding Cassidy's - she certainly wouldn't find out about the knot any time soon, giving Fenris plenty of lead time to get out of the country. The newly-bonded jaguar turns to smile at the crowd, watching as some approach while others head for the food and refreshments, and she gives them all a big, happy smile. "Yes! Thank you, thank you all. I am glad to see so many here."

Selena watches somewhat amusedly as Fenris slips off so soon, and Jera a somewhat perplexed glance - after all, there's clearly something on the todd's mind. regardless, she moves up to the pair proper. "Well, congratulations you two." She congratulates, looking back over her shoulder for a moment. "I'll have to bring over something a bit later... after all, I was almost late, and I would've been if I'd had to head past my house to pick it up."

Rokarion looks around, giving a particular eye at Sirus, but failing to notice him focusing on Fenris in particular. With a shrug, Rokarion prepares to move towards the exit before suddenly stopping and opening his sketch book again, looking at his drawing. The painting was outstanding as usual, drawn in many colours and showing the clearly the couple on the pavilion with the other notable figures being Jera in his dress and Thelergramor in his mask. Sadly it really did not mean much to Rokarion himself, so with a sigh he grabbed a servant and tore off the sketch before telling them to give the drawing to the couple, and with that Rokarion left the scene.

Jera catches Selena looking at him and shakes off his daze to pick himself up and head to the newlyweds, but not before giving Selena's arm a squeeze first. "It's nothing." He assumes, given the look. "Just wondering what the future holds for us all." He finally calls out the wisp from under his dress and the flame orb dances in celebration, careful not to burn decorations. Even firing a muted volcannon that pops like a firecracker. "Good luck, you two. Blessings from my wife, too." He leaves his present on the floor and takes his leave.

Thelergramor rises from his seat, and approaches. Cassidy, Natska and whoever else... Proceeds to hug them. With his arms. He nods, silently, then takes a step back. "Congratulations." He says, quietly.

It really is a beautiful party! There is food and drink and friends and skilled wait staff who keep the drunks and malcontents away from the newly bonded couple. Even the cloudy day can't dampen the celebration!
