Against all odds, the Diseased Pig tavern is, dare we say it, BUSTLING! The usually sullen place has beings of all sizes, shapes and descriptions eating and drinking and generally carrying on. It is quite the party with all sorts of food laid out on long, communal tables and the drink seems to flow like water! A crew of workers on a break are singing a rather bawdy song led by an enormously fat boar in courtly finery who seems to be the benefactor of this impromptu feast.

Serana flicks his tail some. Surprised that the pig actually had some sort of event. An interesting development... The young shark would slide through the crowd careful his tail doesn't catch a patron or two before finding his way to the bar "Large crowd todey, eh?" the irish shark gives with a chuckle "Not normally you see this may people in the pig. What's the occasion?"

Veber cocks an eyebrow at the bustle. He had business at the Pig, but it would apparently have to wait. The baboon didn't see his contact anywhere, nor did he expect to with all the others around. For the nonce, he stakes out a quiet spot on a wall, waiting to get a sense of the event and the crowd before he tries anything.

Zuri strolls into the normally quiet inn, peeking around in disbelief. Despite his surprise he wastes no time moving up close to the laid out tables , eyeing the food and drink greedily. The small salamander quickly snatches a piece of fruit out of the pile as he looks about.

As the party starts a figure clad in gaudy clothing enters. The being's distinctive clothing and half-smiling/half-frowning mask clearly marks him as none other than the Jester. The acrobat cartwheels into the not-so-fine establishment before standing up and looking around, for the moment doing nothing.

There don't seem to be any quiet spots in the tavern today, and no one is getting into the Thieves' Guild today with all this activity. The gorilla barman, affectionatly known as Mangle, snorts at Serana's question. "Dunno," he grunts, "Big fella over there just strolled in here, says it's time for a party and carts in all this food and drink and stuff! Woulda kicked him out on his fat ass, 'cept he went and payed for the whole building fer a week!" The ape shrugs. "Good party though, don't know how everybody here heard about it. Food is damn good and the drinks are better!"

If the crowd of revelers is anything to go by, it is true. Beings are eating and drinking and laughing and singing in ways that have not been heard in this building since it was built! The obese, guadily dressed boar leaves his 'choir' to their drunken singing and starts to waddle about, mingling with the party goers.

Serin chuckles softly, watching as three more beings enter, one of them being a jester. "

Veber smiles and pretends not to notice the sharp elbow he's applying to the water folk who's crowding him. When the gull turns, affronted, Veber puts on an apologetic expression and excuses himself to head into the commotion around the table. If the food's there for the taking, there's no reason not to eat.

Zuri returns to meandering along the room, moving between the pockets of crowd as he often does. He casually takes a bite of the piece of fruit he's holding , chewing it down as he glances around and spots none other than the Jester.

Serin chuckles softly, watching as three more beings enter, one of them being a jester. "Well, it looks like he left his perch..." he hums flickign his tail slightly "Thanks." and she leaves, but not without dropping a few crown for the information. Least he could do, for the normally empty inn. Before sidling up to the boar with a smile "Dear sir, dear sir!" he hums "Such excellent reverly today, by-chance, what brought on such a fantastic turn of events, hmm?"

"A party with the a dying pig, such a pity that I forgot my wig, else we could have danced the jig." the jesterling says as they move nearer to one of the food tables and give a plate with a roasted animal on it a little poke, "Lacks thyme, could use a sprig." they add before looking around, and spotting a being drinking like...a pig, "Be careful sir, no need to swig." With the rather unimagintive rhyme spoken, the Jester moves nearer to the barkeep without another sound.

Anyone partaking of the food will quickly find that it is INCREDIBLE! The fruit is perfectly ripe and sweeter than it has any right to be, and the meats are tender and savory. Everything is of the finest quality and there does not seem to be any risk of anything running low.

"That's right, my friends!" roars the massive host, "Eat! Drink! Be Merry!" A huge, beefy hand comes down on Zuri's head. "Enjoying yourself, friend?" Comes the booming voice of the boar. "Don't stop with the fruit! I've brought something for everyone!" He turns a tusked grin on Serana as she sidles up and wraps a fat arm around her shoulders. "Why do we need a reason?" he bellows, "Indulge yourselves! It's all from your friend Olloch!"

Veber bites absently into a peach, only to discover himself quickly devouring the whole thing and reaching for another. That won't do. He shakes his head and tries to eat the second more slowly. No need for gluttony.

Serin chuckles softly "Of Course! Why need a reason!" he agrees with the boar before partaking of the food. Behind the pleasant facade though, the shark was analyzing, pondering and questioning. There was a serious lacking of his type before... what spurred this on now? A little more pressure on the boar would need to be in order. But she needed a gauge... how best would he open up?

Zuri pauses mid-chew as the unbelievable flavour hits his taste buds. He's still partly in shock as the boar pats him on the head, the small salamander peering uo at him with a wide smile. "Wow! Thank you sir! This is the juiciest peach I have ever tasted! Where is it from Mister Olloch?" The salamander immediately bites into the peach again, craving more of that sweet taste.

"It is all from my own orchards and fields!" the boar says, in answer to Zuri's question, "I personally oversaw the preparation of all of this bounty before you! Go ahead, enjoy!" The stops for a moment to wrangle a passing woman in for a deep, passionate kiss, then lets her go. The girl looks a little dazed, but not displeased as she continues on her way. "We have only tasted the pleasures in story!" Olloch calls out, waddling around the room. The boar places an odd, red fruit before Veber as he passes by. "Try this one, friend!" he advises, "And don't miss the sweetcakes!" The boar can hardly seem to stand still and swims like a porky fish in the crowd, pouring drinks, handing out food, laughing and kabitzing and stealing ecstatic kisses and sly gropes with me and women alike. Playboy may not be a word yet on Promise, but this being may be its genesis in the vernacular.

Veber obligingly takes the offered red fruit before retreating from the table. This is all passing strange, and quite possibly bad for business. It's hard to concentrate on business, though, with the flowing wine and the heaped food and the larger-than-life boar at the middle of it all.

Having already been out and about and seeking lunch, what better than a lunch that's free? Even a noble won't turn down a chance at free food. Cassidy nudges open the tavern door and steps in. It certainly wasn't an unfamiliar place to her, especially with how much time she spent playing games in the Guild.

Serin flicks his tail lightly "Well, now..." he offers as the boar moves about the crowd, toying with beings of either gender. "This may prove problematic later..." he hums slipping to a place where most of the partygoers are drunk or so indulged with the food they wouldn't notice the shark slipping her hair free from under the hat and opening her coat a bit and untightening it, before settling down to eat, her long tailfin resting in her lap. The shark captain certainly was a bit more free with when she transitioned nowadays. However, she still liked keeping the two seperate. At least, where the guards were concerned.

Zuri bites into the peach once more, but pauses mid-chew once again as Olloch mentions sweetcakes. "Shweetcakesh?" He asks, mouth half full, and dashes from table to table until he finds them, his tail swishing happily from side to side. He looks entirely the part of a kid in a candy store as he finally finds the mountain of various cakes and pastries. His eyes widen as he peruses what's available and snatches for himself a red-berry sweetcake, the salamander biting into it before he's even done swallowing his last bite of the peach.

The sheer variety here should be impossible, but it seems like there is a bit of nearly everything a being could ask for. Some of the revelers seem to be slowing down, but a quick pep talk from the host is all it takes to get them digging back into the amazing spread and taking another tankard each. The enormous boar sidles up behind Zuri. "Everything to your liking, friend?" he asks, heaping up a plate of sweets and cookies and placing it before the salamander, "Feel free! There's more than enough to go around!" He waddles toward the door and takes Cassidy and Natska by the hands. "Come in ladies! Join the festivities! Eat! Drink!" This Olloch must be some foreign noble or merchant. There is no way an ordinary being could afford all this.

Cassidy raises her brow at the boar as she's brought in, glancing around. "How odd," she says, ears flicking. "Don't often see this much activity here." She shrugs and moves to partake all the same, first with a glass of wine, then seeking out a plate of ham and other assorted side snacks.

The Jester reappears one more among the crowd, leaving in his wake a group of beings, the victims of his last humorous joke, gasping and laughing their lungs off. An gaze here and a gaze there and the Jester is once more active and apparent, hard not to be with how his bright clothes clash with the dull decor of the building.

Serana flicks her tail some, the female's tail tapping her lap lightly as she finished off her first plate, wandering over to the tables to gather some more. Then she found the drinks, and it was then did she realize they had rum. The shark would then be seen carrying a trayfull of tankards back to her table, passing by Zuri with nothing but the drink on her plate, humming a merry tune.

Natska's ears flatten for a moment as her hand is taken, but she is quick to relax and smile at their host. She follows Cassidy, taking some wine and a few snacks, then looks around. "What is the occasion?" she asks, curious.

This much...fun...is hard for Veber. The food is excellent. The wine is excellent. Nothing seems to be running out. Yet something still seems amiss. Business. Yes. He's here on business. Business that is not happening. Profits that are not being made. Food that is not being-- Well. The food is being eaten. Veber tucks himself in between two revelers and tries to clear his head, not quite noticing that his wine goblet is full again and he's sipping from it all the while.

Zuri peers up at the boar with a big smile. "Everything here is so good Mister Olloch! It's like.. like.. the best things I've ever seen being sold at the Market but all at the same time!" He grabs another bite of the sweetcake and follows it up with a bite of peach, chewing loudly and gladly. Despite the fact that both his hands are already occupied with food he's already eyeing the plate of sweets greedily. It only takes a few more bites for the peach's core to be thrown aside and replaced by a stick of dark chocolate. The salamander stands there, nibbling happily on it.

The clown idly walked around the room, this sure proved a bit too boring for her tastes. Eyeing the crowd, the Jester spots the small salamander, and not a second later the acrobat nimbly cartwheeled towards him, quickly placing their hands on Zuri's head and swinging themself upward to stand upside down on the salamander's head. "Tada!" the prankster says to no one in particular.

"We are alive!" roars happily, "That is occasion enough!" The obese, porcine host waddles back to his kabitzing, stopping to refill drinks and top off plates as he goes, encouraging people to eat and drink more and more. There is certainly no shortage of food here. The choir of heavy clan workers has launched into another raunchy ballad, to the great amusement of the other partiers. The more one listens, the funnier it seems to get. The jester's little trick elicits a roar of approving laughter! And the Pig has never enjoyed such a festive atmosphere. One has to wonder how the thieves' guild below is coping with the party.

The host, gives Cassidy a tusked grin. "Things just seemed a bit sparse this side of town, my dear," he says, "Thought they could use a bit of a feast!"

Serana hums softly, the warmth of the drink just now beginning to hit her, third tankard down with at least seven more left to go. Creators this girl... it's like she could survive on rum alone. Especially considering it's the only thing in front of her. She will not be feeling good tonight.

Cassidy raises her brow at the portly hog, giving a slow hum before she tries to find a place to settle down. "Well! Whatever works. I'm hungry, so I might as well eat," she says with a nod, sipping from her wine and digging right into her meal.

Zuri pauses as he feels a weight plop down on his head. He tries to look up, but as he realises what's happened the salamander stops trying to turn his head, afraid that he may throw the Jester off-balance. "H-hey!" He says with some alarm. How can the Jester balance on his head so easily? And why isn't the salamander being crushed to the ground under his weight? "What are you doing Sir?" As the brief moment of confusion fades, the salamander remembers what's really important and bites into his sweetcake again, veeeery carefully.

The porcine host of this party has somehow quieted down. He goes from table to table, person to person, having quick quiet talks with them. At one point he stops and converses for a while with a rather dazed looking bull, who seems to have over done it with both food and drink. After a short, hushed conversation, the bull nods, murmurs something back and the boar moves along. Only a moment later, the bull is back to shoveling food and drink into his mouth between his sturdy tusks. Must be a birth defect.

Veber shudders. "Something's not right." The baboon still can't put his finger on it, but he finally manages to put his wine glass down. He wipes sticky fingers on his jacket, then grimaces. This is his nice jacket. How could he possibly have just smeared it with bits of fruit and pastry?

The Jester offers the salamander no answer at all, instead tipping themself backward and allowing gravity to finish the work, the bells on her hat jingling and jangling as if to point out her antics. Within moments of the jester's feet touching the ground, their hands quickly fall low to grab the salamander by the waist, and in one hefty pull, Zuri is swung into the air before finding his head resting on the Jester's own, held in place with the prankster's hands, "A short salamander with a slavering stomach. Not stopping until he is filled to the brim, I doubt a hammock could ever handle him."

Natska works on her wine and carefully nibbles at her snacks, smiling and watching the rest of the party. "This is a pleasant surprise, Cass! But tastey."

Serana between tankards of rum managed to notice this little event... She then looked back to her drink, 3 tankards left. It was curious... Those small, isolated conversations from the boistrous boar from before... Something was up, it had to be. She resolved to slow her pace some, nursing at her last three tankards before going for some more, with the addition of a pastry or two. She would, however, use the cover of the crowd to slip closer to the boar on his path, trying to hear what he had to say.

"It is! And the food is fantastic. Better than I was expecting," Cassidy says, gnawing down on a slice of ham with a bit of cheese layered over it.

Zuri lets out a "Waaaah!" as his world is suddenly turned around and upside down. Half-eaten stick of chocolate goes flying one way, while mostly eaten sweetcake falls to the floor with a 'sploof'. "What the?" He wiggles, trying to keep his balance in the rather unusual position. "Ugh..." The rather sudden reversal of gravity has had an effect on the poor salamander and his overstuffed belly. "I don't feel s'good..."

There is no need for Serana to be discreet as Olloch waddles over to join the shark. "Ah, dear lady!" he says, "You'll be quite ill if you drink all of that!" He lowers his voice and murmurs something softly, that only Serana can hear.

Rokarion The Jester keeps the salamander balanced for a number of seconds after his complaint, before moving nearer to the table and pulling a rubbish bin nearer to her, all while letting the salamander wiggle on top. Then with grace, the Jester held the salamander and swung him down again, aiming his head towards the bin, and while the movement appeared graceful, the harsh swinging was definitely not that graceful for the salamander's stomach.

Serana giggles softly "Never, huh?" she gives back, looking to the drink with a soft hum, "That's... quite appealing..." she purrs, nibbling on her pastry, while swirling her drink about the tankard, easily keeping it within, not a drop spilled. "I like that... though getting sick is proof that I enjoyed myself... If I don't then how will I know I had fun?"

That's the last straw for the salamander's poor digestive system. He clings weakly onto the edge of the bin as his stomach rather noisily empties itself of all the sweets and fruit he had been inhibiting. He clings onto the bin weakly, groaning softly. "Oooh..." Zuri struggles weakly, trying to return to the floor where its safe and steady and not spinning or twirling.

Veber cannot seem to keep his hands empty, but forces himself to choose juice over wine. He feels drunk already, having a hard time finding the door through the noisy and noisome crowd.

The Jester lets out an audible giggle at Zuri's bad reaction, leaning closer to whisper a little rhyme in the sickmander's ear before raising themself up again and looking around for another distraction to amuse the bored prankster.

"Well," Olloch says, laying a thick hand on Serana's shoulder, "So long as you know you had fun! You let me know if you change your mind." The boar gives an infintesimally short frown toward the jester, which quickly becomes a tusked smile once more as he waddles over to help Zuri. "Up you go, little friend," he says, helping the salamander to his feet, "Everything alright?" With the boar's gently ministrations, Zuri's nausea quickly abates until it is gone as if it had never been.

Zuri looks momentarily confused as he is let down, then pulled back onto his feet by the helpful boar. He leans onto the boar briefly until he feels his strength returning and his dizziness subsiding. "W-woah.." He rubs his head then looks up at the boar with a big bright smile. "Thank you Mister Olloch! I.. I'm sorry, I sort of made a mess into the bin." He peers over at the Jester, giving him a weird look. "I dunno what happened, Mister Jester doesn't usually do that sort of stuff." His bright smile quickly returns, however, and he looks up at the boar again. "I guess I was being a bit rash with all the eating and more eating."

Cassidy glances over towards Zuri and gives a concerned frown, though it's soon lost as she brings her wine glass up for a sip, leaning over against Natska. "You alright there, Zuri?" Though the frown is gone, she still sounds genuine. It's hard to stay frowny with wine and food like this!

Serana nods softly, keeping the thought in mind as she watches the boar make his way over to... Oh! Zuri! Drunkshark would wander her way over, after downing the last of her pastry, her somewhat unsteady stance extending the time it would take to get to the poor 'mander by the bin.

The Jester quickly turns their gaze back towards the salamander, skipping there before stopping right behind Zuri, "The tiny one implies, in all his capacity for audacity, that he knows what a poor Jester's routines is? Such disparage! Such denigration! To imply that an artist's routine is predictable. What crime doth mine ears suffer from such ruthless libel!" The Jester says in such overplayed and purposefully pompous melodramatic voice.

Olloch helps Zuri to a seat, cleaning the little salamander up and laying a heaped plate in front of him. Then the boar turns toward the Jester. "Now, now," he says, a smile still on his face, but a hardness in his dark eyes, "Let's not put others off their fun. Are you trying to ruin the party?"

A number of gazes are suddenly focused on Rokarion. Those who were deepest in their cups or the most voracious in their eating, as well as two beings with tusks not characteristic of their species are suddenly focused on the jester and rising from their seats.

Veber needs something to do other than eat and drink, something to hold his attention. He goes to the last being he saw in close conversation with the party's host. "Did you learn any interesting secrets?"

Zuri peers around, noting Cassidy as she speaks up to him. He replies, now with a big bright smile. "All good here Miss Cassidy! I'm alright now" He gives the boar a big wide grin and follows him to a fresh seat, and is helped to a big plate of sweeties and meats. "Mmmm!" He starts picking out food with both hands, his tail flitting side to side contentedly as if nothing had ever happened. "Oooh, honey glazed!" He says after chewing down a slice of meat, and quickly goes for another.

Cassidy smiles at that and nods, helping herself to more of the ham, herself. "Good to hear! It'd be a shame to have the meal ruined by ill-feelings," she says with a nod and a grin. "And the food is very good."

Serana flicks her tail "Not really..." she gives to the baboon, pausing in her wandering to converse "He told me i'd be sick, then offered the ability not to if I wanted..." she gives With a small sway, holding onto the baboon with a clean hand to steady herself "It's a little suspicious.. Maybe... I mean... How do you stop a hangover?" she asks, "and that bull over there..." she thumbs a swaying hand in the direction of a bull "One minute he was going to be sick, then our host wanders over, and he's shoveling food into his mouth faster then a sailor can drink." She gives "A bit odd, is what it is, but... It seems harmless... Nothing to jump on him about."

The Jester grins and frowns...no wait that would be his mask, the Jester's true impressions remains unreadable as ever, now with three balls juggling in their hands "A voracious boar accusing the Jester of ruining fun? What slander." the Jester says in their ever cheerful voice, "To blame the bringer of cheer and happiness for a stomach filled to the brim? Does the fool ever get blamed for the crimes of the cook? Or is the cook jealous of the fool's capacity to bring joy?" The Jester adds, balls still being juggled in hand.

Veber shakes his head at the shark. "I do not think I would try to jump him. He is either wealthy beyond reason or has some kind of magic I haven't seen. Perhaps both. It seems suspicious to me, too. All of this. In this place. The Pig is far more accustomed to famine than feast."

Olloch's grin does not falter in the least, and he waves a hand to those who were rising from their seats, and they return to their food and drink and revelry. "Your poetry is terrible and your jokes are worse, clown," the porcine host says, drawing close to whisper something in the harlequin's ear before moving along. He stops and tops off Natska and Cassidy's drinks. "Everything going well ladies?" he asks. Funny how he never asks anyone what they are drinking. Must have a good nose for it.

Natska tips her head to the boar and gives him a smile. "It is fantastic, thank you. Am excellent celebration of life!"

Serana flicks her tail some "I wouldn't put it past magic." she hums "And wealthy? perhaps. This certainly speaks of wealth, bbut sometimes the truth can be different." she hums, stretching a bit "Either way, this is a thing that is happening, and it appears harmless. Unless it can be proved otherwise I would engage with him on his level. Perhaps I might take him up on that offer, just to see what would happen."

Cassidy nods at the boar, folding her legs and leaning back in her seat as she goes to refill her wine glass. "Yes, it's very good! I'm still not sure if -this- much was needed for such a relatively simple celebration, but I can't complain I won't go home hungry, at least!"

Zuri tilts to the side to reach for a mug of drink, using it to wash down his meal of sweets and meat. He raises his mug and cheers loudly before gulping down three swigs of the drink and slapping the mug back down. "Oooh.. hm.. that's some pretty strong beer.." He sniffs at it, then takes another swig, followed by a burp that has him giggling. "Woops. Excuse me!"

Veber shrugs eloquently, the gesture bringing his narrow shoulders nearly up to his outsize ears. "Perhaps you are correct. Perhaps I am wrong to wonder so fervently what motive our host has for doing such a thing in this, of all places."

Serana chuckles softly "You are not wrong for wondering about a motive. I've been trying to gauge that myself until well..." she hiccups a bit, much more unsteady "Ten tankards of rum can do some crazy things with your mind." she giggles, humming as she swayed... One could say she was addicted to that particular alcohol and, while she would fervently deny it... One would find stick a tankard in front of her and she'd drink it like her species drank water.

Olloch's rambling has brought him up behind Veber, draping a fat arm over the baboon's shoulders. Amazing that someone so large can move so quietly. "It is here that the people were hungriest, my friend!" the boar chortles, "So it was here that I brought what I had to offer. It is the hungry that truly enjoy a meal, after all!" He turns to the room at large. "Am I right my friends?" he bellows, and though only a few of them are likely to have heard him, the room responds with a cheer of approval.

The Boar also refills Serana's mug, giving her a wink.

The Jester lets out a loud giggle as Olloch whispers into their ears before adding in a fourth ball, "You call such crude blithering an insult? Sir, the only insult you have thrown upon me is thine stench." the fool quickly answers to the boar being standing next to him before he departs. As Olloch moves over to the two nobles, the Jester suddenly stops, letting the balls drop down on the ground and roll away. The Jester quickly follows Olloch and bows before the two nobles, "Ah, the ladies Solacious. Enjoying the feast thrown by a well-dressed boar coming from distant lands? The spirits they serve, you must try. I hear they are divine to the taste, thought a fool doubts their purity." the Jesterling adds in a more conversational and less sing-song tone, before letting out another giggle.

Veber winces a little at the volume of the cheer. "As you say, sirrah. I've no desire to upset your party." Although the flat expression on the baboon's face doesn't leave his own level of enjoyment in question.

Zuri is rather blissfully enjoying his food and drink when the room exploads in cheer and applause around him. Between light inebriation and peer pressure he joins in, the salamander cheering loudly, and dunking the rest of his mug of drink. He turns around on his chair, still munching on a rather big cream cake as he spots the gathering now happening on the other side, around Cassidy and Natska. He shovels a few more cakes and sweets into his pockets and dashes over to greet them, still nibbling on a cream cake.

Serana giggles, leaning in a bit "Reeelaaax." she gives with a smile "Loosen up some. Drink more, eat a bit more too!" she hums getting a tad bit closer "The rum is excellent and the food is good, what's not to like so far. Good conversation is to be had as well!"

"Exactly," Olloch says, topping Serana off once more, "Nothing wrong with letting loose once in a while!" The Boar waddles off to greet others, patting Zuri on the head as he passes. "A salamander after my own heart!" he says approvingly, though he casts a glance back toward the jester and his irritating poetry. "Doesn't even rhyme properly," he mutters, then looks around to see if anyone is watching before discreetly sniffing at an armpit. Just in case.

Cassidy gives a faint nod to the jester as she sips on her wine. "It's not the most questionable thing I've eaten in my life, I'll say that much. It tastes fine, and it doesn't seem poisoned, so I'd say I'm quite alright with this!"

Veber glances over at the shark's whisper and forces a polite nod as Olloch wanders off. "There is a funny thing about loosening up: it opens gaps in one's defenses. I'm not certain joy comes into that."

Zuri giggles as Olloch pats him on the head, the salamander continuing on his way towards Cassidy. The salamander has time to wolf down another cream cake by the time he gets there. "Hi Miss Cassidy! Awesome party huh? I should come over to this bar more often if this is the sort of stuff that happens here!" He fishes another stashed pastry out of his stash, but doesn't quite dive into it just yet.

Serana chuckles softly "I've never once met a sailor who couldn't stop a man out for their blood dead in his tracks while enjoying a drink with his shipmates." she gives "Joy and reverly do not open gaps in one's defenses. Joy and reverly only serve to facilitate you opening the gaps. The person enjoying themselves need to keep those gaps closed dispite the situation." she gives with a soft hum, swatting at an overeager male reaching for her ass "If anything at least lighten up a bit. Broody and dour don't make for good party attitudes, it pust the host on edge."

Veber smiles slightly. "Dour I'll allow, but I'm hardly brooding. Habitual suspicion has kept me alive. There is enough, then there is..." he twists his hand to encompass the surroundings "...this. Far more than enough, with no sign of stopping. To resort to truism: there is no such thing as a free lunch. I'm more curious about the purpose than the purveyor, though I suppose I ought to be curious about him, as well."

The porcine host grins around at the continuing festivities. "Eat, Drink and Be Merry, my friends!" the boar bellow, repeating his clarion call from earlier, "Indulge like there is no tomorrow!" There is another rowdy cheer from the patrons of the Diseased Pig. Remarkably, the crowd has only grown. Looks like no one has decided to leave the endless dinner party yet. That seems to suit the host just fine. He looks ready to keep this up all night! And any time someone seems to be flagging, a quick pep talk from Olloch gets them going again. Especially those few beings with the strange tusk defect. Who knew that it was so common?

The Jester snickers as Cassidy answers before looking at Olloch and shifting his gaze again to look on the salamander who just arrived, letting out another giggle, "A naive fly buzzing around, unaware where it's bound. Not noticing that she is gowned, with softest silks of from spider's mounds. Alas she might remain clueless until she's ground, and in spider's silk she is drowned." the Jester says before letting out a giggle and patting Zuri on the head.

Zuri looks up at the Jester, giving him an annoyed pout. Why was he being so rude today? The salamander walks past him and plops down next to Cassidy, giving her a smile before biting into the creamcake. His attention is drawn to the boar at the center of the room, cheering at his speech. "I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for more Mister Olloch's parties. They're awesome!" He licks his lips and digs into his cream cake voraciously, happy to keep eating and enjoying himself for as long as possible.

Natska finishes her drink, and the last snack from her plate. She sighs happily and slips an arm through Cassidy's, looking around and watching the feast. She does frown, for just a moment, at a stray thought... then banishes it with a shake of her head. "Thank you," she calls. "I believe it's time to move on, hun."

Eventually the noble fennec does seem to have eaten her fill, but she's content to remain and continue sipping on fine wines, certainly. That was a pleasant lunch, certainly! She does frown at Natska's words, though, before starting to stand. "Ahh... I'll have to drink more later. Ah well. Thank you for the meal!"
